This place is so dirty inside and out. One they need to get a power washer and power wash the chairs and all the floors outside. Two the inside is so dirty the floors are sticky. Negatives: Trash cans, especially just outside the door, were overly full with used bowls about a foot and a half above the top. The area below some dispensers had melted yogurt. The store needs more than one employee because she handles customer payments and must stay at the computer. read more

I normally don't put reviews but I felt the need to say something because this was really disappointing. First off I just came from a funeral so I was looking forward for a sweet treat, I placed an order for a large plain tart and an order of regular pistachio. I got a large bowl of vanilla and a regular bowl of 70%vanilla and 30% pistachio. I didn't realize till I got home so I didn't have time to take it back. I understand stock might be low or whatever the case is but it's unacceptable to mislead guests. I would've been fine picking another flavor if the cashier had let us know. We stop by occasionally. The employees are nice and the store is clean. The rocket pop flavor really tastes like the popsicle, the kids love it! The employees serve the fruit and candy to you so it's more hygienic. There are places to sit and eat inside and outside. Next door is Sharkys and corner Bakery if you wanted to do lunch there first. I've been craving frozen yogurt for a long time and wanted a nice throwback to the high school days when getting fro yo was the cool thing to do. There unfortunately aren't many frozen yogurt spots left, so since we had dinner nearby we figured we'd stop by for dessert. I was surprised that they have employees put toppings for you. I'm sure they made this change a long time ago, but it has been sooo long since I last went to Yogurtland so I'm a bit out of the loop. I wish we were able to serve ourselves just so that we could have more control of the amount of toppings, but oh well. There were a decent number of flavor options. I saw the TV screen advertising boba milk tea flavor, but unfortunately that wasn't available (at least at this location). They also didn't have any samples, but again, I'm not sure if that's something that has changed over the years. I was pretty surprised by how expensive two cups came out to be... I definitely could've purchased more ice cream somewhere else but I guess you're also paying for the experience? The inside of the store had this unsettling, fluorescent but dim lighting and there were a couple of small tables inside. They had a water pitcher, but it was empty. I would've preferred to sit outside but there's only one or two tables that were occupied. The trash can outside was also overflowing, so this place could definitely use a little more maintenance. read more

I am a regular customer and look forward to receiving the seasonal coupons that arrive every few months. I took my child today and used the $5 UNLIMITED coupon (see photo below) which the manager Michaela refused to honor. Instead, she deducted $5 OFF which is not what the coupon reads. I ended up paying $12.87. Yogurtland, as you are sending out promotional coupons to get customers into your store and to keep loyal return customers coming back, you need to honor the language written on the coupons you send out! Update: Wish I could remove a star. I got in touch with corporate as they asked in their response to my review. I explained to them what happened and they said "We'll forward to local management and have them contact you. If you don't hear back in a week let us know and we'll escalate." I find this funny because the local management _IS_ the problem. Needless to say, local management did not contact me and I gave them two weeks. I notified corporate and crickets. Moral of the story, if you want to use a coupon, don't go there. I didn't even go there for the recent rewards on my account as I no longer have _ANY_ faith in the management there to honor their coupons... WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW in the state of California! The staff at this location needs better training. The young kid was not able to answer a single question correctly and deflected the knowledge to "I have to ask my manager" who was not on site, or simply "I don't know, I just work here." I have visited numerous Yogurtland locations, this encounter by far is the worst. Yogurt wise, it's all the same. But the service needs improvement. To elaborate: I inquire if the sorbets are made with any artificial flavors or colors. He replies "No, there are no artificial colors or flavors." I dispense some into my cup - and it's Cotton Candy Blue color. I inquire again asking is he sure since the color of the blue doesn't look too natural. He says "I don't know, it should be labeled on the sign" (It's not). "But there is no artificial flavor but I'm not sure about the artificial color part." I pressed on "Doesn't your store have a binder stating the info and facts for every flavor? " (Other stores does) He say "I don't know, I just work here. Maybe my manager does, maybe he locked it up somewhere, I'll have to ask him." (He doesn't). I check out. He doesn't tell me how much my yogurt cost and tells me to scan my code. I redeem a $5 value coupon from my app but he still doesn't tell me how much my yogurt cost nor does he give me a receipt. I had to ask twice how much my yogurt cost. He says "It's free" (still doesn't tell me the cost). That's not the point - I want to redeem all $5 worth but found out my yogurt weight is $4.09 and I want to know if the remaining $0.91 credit carry over to next use or it's invalidated. He says "I don't know, I just work here". "We'll, can I fill it up to $5 worth and just walk out or make a price adjustment?" He replied, "um I don't know, I just work here." Being a bit fed up, with the default "I don't know, I just work here" answer for everything, I calmly suggested "Okay. Get better training." I have been coming to this yogurt shop since they opened. Service has gone downhill as has the quality. Machines are constantly not working. I was there two days ago and three machines were down. While customer service and product quality decline. Prices increase. Unfortunately, I just cannot endorse this location. I have seen them overcharge me on numerous occasions, and then try to offer me credits instead of refunding me. I don't believe this is good business. *** edit: some extra clarification. I have reached out to customer service. Because this is a franchise location, they don't have any oversight over it. Although customer service has tried to offer me rewards, they cannot offer me a refund. And when I've gone to the store to use the rewards dollars I've been told they can't use them. Yummy fro-yo place! They had a nice selection of froyo flavors ranging from chocolate to blueberry to rocket pop to mango. They all had a good consistency and flavor. They give you sample cups to try the flavors. They had a good topping bar selection. They had fruits (my fav) and candy and chocolates. The interior was nice and the staff was friendly. I love Yogurtland but the frozen yogurt sold here is not good at all and does not taste like the ones at the other Yogurtland locations. It's grainy and the all the flavors taste sweet, but you can't tell which flavor it is. The workers are nice but the yogurt is not it. Go somewhere else. They no longer let you sample flavors. They were out of many toppings, and when asked if they had more the guy working the front said if it's not out, then we don't have anymore. We witnessed multiple groups ask for different toppings and get told they were out. About 5 minutes later another employee came from the back and refilled many of them (eye roll). Both employees had earbuds in and looked and acted like they were completely annoyed to be there. No "Welcome" or "thank you". Any questions from customers received an answer that showed it was an inconvenience to respond. Everything kind of seemed sticky and the outside trash and table were just gross. You're slipping. I used to like this place. Sure, there's lots of flavors and various toppings to choose from, although in today's competitive market, that's not enough. The flavor is missing, each one tastes similar with a slight twist. The depth of flavor is lacking. Plus, on one recent visit I saw a woman wash her hands in the water dispenser. Unreal. The next time I came in, the water was gone and the person behind the counter said no more water. They couldn't as much as give my grandchild a glass of water, was told management said no water. Are used to come here all the time and it was quite good but have not been since Covid. they no longer do samples and you can't put your own toppings on anymore which is understandable since the pandemic but the quality of the yogurt was so terrible. It was icy and watery not at all creamy. If I had a sample I would not have purchased anything since all four flavors that I got were pretty bad. On top of it I asked the worker for Reeses topping and it was basically dust that she gave me (I would have preferred actual pieces of Reese's not the ground up remains).
