You can never go wrong with Starbucks they are so much choices to choose from my old time favorite is the cinnamon dolce latte which happens to be a retired flavor Agh. I stopped by today to teatime myself to a venti purple dragon with coconut milk and a large cup of ice. I have not had that drink for a while because I don't drink caffeine because I bounce like a ball all over and won't sleep lol. As we continue eating our way down Main Street in St. Charles, Illinois our next stop was at Starbucks on E. Main St. The decor and vibe at this Starbucks was beautiful. Plenty of seating, high tops and low tops. It was clean and well-maintained, ready for customers to dine in. We enjoyed a hot Pumpkin Spice Latte with coconut milk, Nitro Cold Brew with pumpkin cold foam, and a Caramel Macchiato. All of our drinks were delicious and made to perfection. There were six barista's behind the counter, and they were busy and moving the drinks along. We were surprised at how quickly we received our drinks. This Starbucks is definitely a five star. As for the corporate policies of changing the rewards stars from 150 to 200 for a free drink, the request for a tip after spending $7 for a cup of coffee when you use their phone app, and cancellation of the Chase Visa Starbucks Credit Card, is all disappointing/aggravating, but should not be held against this local Starbucks. This is definitely a Starbucks we will return to to enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation. read more

I have been to this Starbucks more times than I can count and I have consistently had bad service and bad drinks here. Their staff is horrendously rude. If my order isn't wrong then it's just not done well 75% of the time. It's extremely close to my house so I've come here over the course of the last 8 years many times, due to the convenience of distance. That's the only reason I kept coming here but I'm honestly done coming here. I can't take it anymore. Not to mention that this is an extremely busy and popular location. Therefore, it blows my mind at how bad the baristas are here. How management has not noticed that they have subpar staff at such a busy location. Not just subpar in their attitudes and behavior but also how trash the drinks are made. However, I waited 15-20 minutes in line today and the blonde girl at the window had a straight face, never said hi, and never apologized for the long wait, despite me only having one drink. I am normally very understanding in these situations because I was once a barista & understand the stress of the drive thru being full etc. However, don't work in customer service if you don't have respect for other people. I came here to grade a bunch of student papers while I was visiting my parents a few weeks ago. My order took far too long (considering I was the only person in line/ordering in the store, and they had a lot of staff). The girl behind the counter also seemed to be annoyed when I asked a question about their new salted caramel cold brew (or whatever it is). Like, I was literally the only person in line. I wasn't holding up the line by asking questions. After I got my drink (which tasted fine, at least) I was able to find a table and get some work done, but I ended up leaving after about 40 minutes because it was so dark in there that it hurt my eyes to look at my computer screen, no matter how I adjusted the brightness. I don't know how anyone would be able to read a book in there because of the darkness. The table was also a really odd height for the chairs (I'm not abnormally tall or short), so typing was very awkward and uncomfortable. Instead I ended up going to the public library. In the future, I'll be going to the other STC Starbucks downtown. Maybe this one is better for drive-thru (it is a good location for that purpose). And this isn't a criticism specific to this Starbucks, but several of the ones I've been to recently: why do they no longer list anything other than grande sizes on their menu, and a very limited number of drinks? Is this so people will order off-menu things and then they can charge more? (I noticed the price of my Americano has gone up). read more

This is the most inconsistent Starbucks I've frequented. I basically order the same thing every morning. It's a Very simple drink. Yet, it is made differently almost every time I order it. Either too much ice, not enough ice, cold foam too little, it's not topped off, syrup is added when I always ask for no syrup, sometimes the espresso is added to a cup of ice, other times it is pulled over ice (as it should be) etc etc. I order this Same drink at Any other Starbucks in the area and it comes out correctly. The interior is dark and gloomy. Black ceiling and dark brown/black walls with an accent wall of very dark wood. Poor lighting. I will start going out of my way in the morning to another Starbucks. For the money it costs, it needs to be right at least 90% of the time. read more

Great customer service!! I happened to order a no water chai at the Lombard store on the way home from work. When they add water it tastes too spicy to me. I left the drive thru and yuck, they made it wrong. But I love my chai tea lattes so I stopped by this Starbucks which is close to our home and I reordered my no water chai tea. I mentioned to the girl at the window that the last place didn't make it right and she said, as a chain we want you to be happy so this one is on us! I was so surprised! And they made it right. This Starbucks is consistently disappointing. No matter what, your drinks are always lukewarm at best. The only way to get coffee steaming hot from this location is to ask for it specifically 180 degrees, because even asking extra hot gives you lukewarm coffee. I don't know whats going on there, but I can't mobile order from this location due to the inability to specify 180 degrees. read more

This is probably one of the worst Starbucks I've been to..I recently came to this Starbucks on my way home and not only did the order take forever for them to make but the employees at the window were terribly rude to me. Someone really needs to teach these kids about proper customer service because that is just embarrassing. This is a newer location so I understand that it takes a while for things to become a tight ship. So beware, lines in the morning take a long time and sometimes things get messed up/are not consistent with other stores. The interior is nice, clean and modern. I used to really rely on this Starbucks to get my order right. Yesterday, it was not so good. I took it back and said it didn't taste right. They were happy to remake it. As I watched the barista pour in the milk, I said "you know the order is for soy milk right?" She looked at the order again. "It doesn't say soy milk here". I said, oh, well maybe that's why it doesn't taste right. Good thing I didn't drink it." I did a mobile order, which is on my phone in my favorites, and it says soy milk, so go figure. Anyway - today I went into the drive through and placed my order. I saw on the order board that it had soy milk. I asked no foam and no whip. He put down no foam twice. I reminded him of no whip. I get to the window. The order didn't taste right, again. So I told the gal and handed her back my coffee. She said "I can't take that!" But they did remake the order. I reminded them that it might be the same as the previous day where they put milk instead of soy milk in it. The second one tasted the same as the first. I give up.
