Visiting the Starbucks in Aurora Village near Petco today, Thursday 20 February 2025, I found ample parking and no line for ordering when I entered the building. Looking over the baked goods on display, the winter treat displayed item caught my attention, a vanilla bean custard danish, and I ordered one. The worker was friendly and my cash payment was accepted, a tips bin at the counter was readily accessible for tipping my coinage change. Receiving the danish, I found it was heated to warm to my touch through the bag. The custard was well melded and warm as was the base pastry layer. Very nice, clean store, including the bathrooms. Open, airy feel during all day. Very chic. However, if I pay $9.03 (without tip) for a quad iced 16-oz. mocha (that's four shots), I want to be able to taste coffee. Not here. Mostly milk. They are using very short shots. A true shot is 25 seconds, and they should be able to do these two at a time. Never again. The one and only time last week was for charity. read more

I'm a regular Starbucks customer, spending over $100 a week just on coffee. I recently stopped by the Shoreline, WA location for a quick bathroom break after picking up coffee at the Lynnwood store. When I entered, I asked one of the associates for the restroom code, but she didn't know and directed me to ask the cashier. I thought that was odd, but I waited in line. Once it was my turn, I politely asked the cashier for the restroom code. She then told me I needed to make a purchase before I could use the restroom. I showed her that I had made a purchase at the Lynnwood store just an hour earlier, but she insisted that store policy required me to buy something at the Shoreline location. I'm really disappointed by this experience. I understand policies, but this felt unreasonable, especially considering I'm a loyal customer. I won't be returning to Starbucks, and I'll be sure to share my experience with others, particularly about this location (1251 N 205th St, Seattle, WA 98133). I live in Ballard but took the E line to the Aurora Village Park and Ride to meet a friend that was picking me up to go somewhere else this past Sunday. Not knowing the area I wasn't sure where I was going to wait for her. She said there was a Starbucks near Costco. First off let me say, I'm not usually a Starbucks person. Seattle has many indie coffee shops in town with great coffee that I prefer. However people constantly give me gc to Starbucks and I had been wanting to try some of their lemonade slushie summer drinks. After finding the shop I went inside and ordered the Mango Dragonfruit lemonade slushie without the strawberry swirl and a egg white spinach wrap. Everything came out as ordered and not too long of a wait. As I sat eating and sipping what I observed this location. I have to say it was apparent that everyone that was working that day appeared to really enjoy each other and were a well bonded team. Other little things that made me want to write this review is that they were all friendly. Also watched as one of the employees went above and beyond in my opinion. I noticed this store has a lot of elderly customers. One of the employees walked over to an elderly woman that was seated and asked her if she had received all of her order. She thought that possibly the woman hadn't received everything and wanted to double check they went up to the pick up area together to double check. You don't even see that kind of care in most restaurants. Also, the drive through area had forgotten one of drinks from and order and went running outside to chase down the car and make sure the people got the full order. Great Starbucks for walk-in, drive through or pre-order. The drive through is bustling in the morning, but moves quickly. The baristas are always friendly and have a smile for you, even in the early early hours. I have never encountered anything but great staff here, which I can't say about other Starbucks I've been to. Occasional snafus have come up, generally out of their control; closed due to power outage. Out of certain items because supply chain issues, etc. These are not enough to deter me from returning. read more

Starbucks should really be ashamed of this store. I went there to meet with someone for coffee and could not believe how bad it was. First, my coffee was horribly made and had to be fixed. Then they didn't have any napkins in the dispensers. Then I went to find a place to sit in the completely EMPTY store and 10 out of 10 tables were dirty.  I had to wipe down a table before I sat at it while the employees watched me do it.  WTF?  The whole place was just dirty and in disarray.  Unbelievable.  I was there for around 90 minutes and not one of the three people working bothered to clean the tables or do anything other than chat it up with people in the drive-thru.  SMH read more

Love this location, especially early am. Order on the app and easy peasy lemon squeezy . Then you also get rewards on it. Place is clean, although one suggestion is to have someone wipe down tables so it's not sticky from previous occupants. Overall, it's a good go to Starbucks. Staff super friendly. read more

Great drive thru during the covid-19 era! I was feeling super low on energy over the weekend and saw the familiar green awning of Sbux as I was driving home from my grocery store run. I was so relieved to find their drive-thru mostly empty save for one car. My order was taken and they were able to put my two drinks in a bag with a divider to keep them from tipping over on my drive. Great service and fast, too! I will definitely make a point to stop at this location in the future. They were super responsible about scanning my phone from as far away as possible and had gloves and masks on at all times. read more

A nice sized Starbucks with cool art work on the walls and plenty of seating options. There are about 38 seats total with tables for 2, 4 and a long narrow one with 10. I like that it's roomy and not cramped. We came in on a Friday evening and it wasn't busy. There were several empty seats and tables. But there were small crumbs on most and several spots on the floor that were cluttered with misc papers and fallen napkins. The staff were nice and polite. This starbucks has moved into the middle of the lot it was in. It now has a lot more space and is a drive through. My impression of the previous location wasn't good but I can dig this one. Maybe it just all the open light but it feels more relaxed and like a place is sit with a drink for a bit. My usual americano was good. The usual burnt starbucks flavor but not bad. And this time I tried a breakfast sandwich. Though I realized after I got it that the bread was probably not dairy free as it was a crassont roll, the staff were nice enough to take the cheese off of it so my reaction won't be to bad. I wish they knew enough about the products to ask me about an allergy because I took the cheese off but most places don't do that or even think about asking that. I've been to this Starbucks location several times, either after pumping gas at Costco, finishing physical therapy sessions earlier last year, or stopping in to get some sammies to go from nearby Jersey Mike's. Friendly and efficient baristas at this location, but the layout itself is a bit dark and cramped.But then for me, it's been in/out and go. Fortunately, I heard that further down and closer to Big 5, that new construction will be a larger Starbucks with a drive through. Hopefully more natural light and seating! I hope the traffic won't snarl up between that, Costco, and the Home Depot! read more

The good: -Great location, I like how it's right next to costco so I can wait here while my tires are getting fixed. -The team is really on it! This particular location either a) does not know how to make the cold foam/sweet cream topping properly or b) rushes/doesn't care enough to. One occurrence would be understandable, but three times, the cold foam on top was filled with big bubbles and the milk was leaking all over the liquid below, which is not how it should be done. Here's a tip: always use the provided lid with the blender & after aerating the milk for about 15 seconds, wait another 10 seconds & scoop up the velvety foam on top. Typically every Starbucks I've been to is a pleasant experience. Even the one I found in Turkey on a road leaving Banderma. However The Starbucks here next to Costco and Home Depot leaves me wanting. By far it is the worst one I've been to. Service was ok but every table had trash on it and was in need of a good scrubbing. Can't remember the last time (if ever) I have been upset at a starbucks. A little background, I'm a Starbucks fanatic and drink starbs almost everyday of my life. Today after a long and expensive trip to Costco I stopped in to get my favorite drink - a White mocha Americano - and feeling cheery for the beginning of the season asked for two pumps white mocha and ONE pump peppermint. I noticed she rang me full price for two syrups when my total amount of pumps didn't even reach the standard four for a grande. I politely pointed this out to her and she rudely explained Americanos don't come with syrup. Yea. I get that. Like I said I drink starbucks everyday of my life. I also know you can substitute a pump of syrup at no cost to the customer. Did I mention I was wearing a Starbucks sweatshirt??! Obviously I am a loyal customer, this was about a 50 cents charge and she was completely rude and demeaning. Very friendly and perky staff who go out of their way to do a great job. Unfortunately, there are a few old fogies who do not understand how to Starbucks and decide to just go straight to the register and place an order, completely ignoring those who wait patiently in the queue. Because this location is: (1) close to a park-n-ride, (2) close to Costco and Home Despot, (3) close to Costco Gas, (3) near cheap apartments housing broke college students, and (4) near a high school, chances are good you will have a fairly deep line with individuals who want some twangy custom-ordered "tall, half-soy, half-2%, three pumps of vanilla, two packs of Sugar In The Raw, double latte with whip" mixed in with the clueless newbie asking, "How do I order a medium coffee to go?" This location used to be great. Everyone was friendly and wanted to chat with anyone who walked in the door. I've noticed recently though that this store has gone downhill. The girls there are snotty, the men are immature, and no one can seem to get a drink right. I have to say that I don't normally write businesses off, but I refuse to go back to this location. The manager has copped an attitude with my friends and I and the girls won't even make eye contact. The floor is always covered in crumbs and the condiment bar is a mess. I have also had someone roll their eyes at me when I order my drink. I don't care if my drink is the hardest or the easiest...they know how to make it, so make it without making an issue out of it. She helped me out one day when I was having an issue getting my drink made properly and I kept getting charged very different prices for the same drink at other locations. Well what can I say, this is just one of the five Starbucks near my place. This location is very convenient since it is close to Home Depot, Costco, Jersey Mikes, Emerald City Smoothie, Bath and Body Works, and many other places. It is a defiant hot spot when they are offering their half off happy hour. The inside is very cozy with plenty of tables to sit at as well as a couple outside, plus they have free wifi. I really enjoy the friendliness of the workers here, it makes it a delight to come in and get a cup of delicious java. They always have plenty of pastries and breakfast sandwiches, so I have never gone in and been disappointed. After ordering up some coffee and a snack my wife and I have had some fun times sitting out front and watching the people walk by. It makes for a great time because we see some interesting people. I don't know what it is but we love to people watch. It's nice having so many different options of Starbucks to choose from. LOL Starbucks is taking over the world. read more

Look, I know all Starbucks partners are up against the world's least functional app, but most stores manage to deal with it without being ornery toward customers. "Did you have food with your mobile order?" Nah, just felt like awkwardly hanging out right next to the mobile order thing. These people are never happy to be there. I just want to say I'm officially done with Starbucks, always over priced when I get something. I get the same thing all the time except for today and it was 11.00 dollars. Just for a drink and banana nut. Clearly this place is just a huge rip off. The sweet cream foam half the time is barely anything on it. They mess up the order but I don't have time to turn around to make them fix it since I have to head to work. This has happened to me several times. Cold coffee. 11:30 am on May 16, Ordered a decaf drip coffee. Woman behind the counter said "let me see if we still have some", then poured a cup from a portable dispenser. I paid and left. As I drove away and took my first sip I realized it was barely warm. The coffee must have been sitting in there all morning. She must have known it was old coffee and cold. Absolute worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Not only did they not acknowledge me when I walked in but I could have grabbed any of the mobile orders and they wouldn't have cared. Besides the RBF that was displayed across their faces, I had to ask twice for the time to see how long my frap had been sitting there since my venti had already been 3/4 of the way melted and the whipped cream was flat and below the lip of the cup. I realize I was past the time that was suggested for pick up but I also work in the food/customer service industry and at least an offer to remake the drink would have shown a mild interest towards the customers satisfaction. It seems like you ladies are unhappy with your job, is it the tips? Perhaps you'd be happier at a bikini stand where no one actually looks at your face and its okay to serve shit coffee to go along with your attitude. It's the Starbucks close to my work. The typical Seattle Starbucks. The staff there are friendly but their coffee just clearly isn't what it used to be. The taste is oily and without the flavor that they used to have. Their cold beverages save them from utter one star of doom, but times to enjoy said beverages are few and far between up here.
