Decided to treat myself to a matcha today. I ordered a grande matcha latte, iced, with coconut milk. No comment on the lobby. Not a mess. Plenty of seating but didn't have clean tables. It was about 1:33 pm so maybe they had a rush? I am never that person who asks for no ice or light ice but goodness, look at this?? I went to the restroom while they made my drink and my friend noticed that there was a ton of liquid left in the container they made the drink in before they poured it. This is why I don't go to Starbucks often. This was $7... Also, 7 employees working. 3 people I. The lobby. Took quite a while to even be greeted. This location decided to close their lobby even though the app allowed orders to be placed for pickup inside on Thanksgiving. They should put out a sign before the holiday and turn off the option in the app. In this situation, the employees should walk the product out if they do not want customers coming in instead of turning away customers at the door or telling them they can jump in a long drive up line or get a refund. I order from this location all the time and I always get a Venti Passion tea lemonade w/strawberry base and 2 pumps classic. This is the completely wrong color. It's like they forgot to put passion tea in this. Which is like the entire point of this drink lol. Doesn't taste like passion tea at all. Usually they get it right. I just don't know what happened. It's so disappointing. I don't want this nasty drink. I'm just surprised anyone looked at this and decided it was worth giving to a customer. If you're out of tea don't attempt to make the drink...simple as that. Just cancel the order or something. So many choices were made and none of them were correct. read more

Probably the nicest Starbucks crew I've ever dealt with. I Love how they dress up for each holiday or sporting event. Whenever I'm in San Tan I try to stop by. My only knock on them is they're very slow. Everytime I do a mobile order it's never ready or I have to remind them something is missing. I drive to this Starbucks, 15 minutes away, because they are friendly, always get my drink order correct, or happily fix it on the spot if it's not. Even when they're busy they always seem happy and even with new staff they continue to work together well as a team. I would have given 0 Stars but there wasn't an option. I have ordered close to 12 White Chocolate Mochas a week for years. Last weekend, ordered 6 - picked up and drove home to find out they weren't White Chocolate Mocha's - had to drive back and have them remade. Same today, ordered 6 White Chocolate Mochas and have no clue what these were. Instead of driving back, I called Customer Service to complain and requested a refund. No refund! I've spent over $2,500 year to date at Starbucks - over $12,000 the past several years. I will no longer be going to Starbucks - too many choices these days. Starbucks is apparently okay with losing one of their best patrons. I'll go to Black Rock going forward. I may have lost today; however, Starbucks loses big in the long run. read more

I frequently come here to get work done and tonight, there was this barista/cashier who wasn't pleasant at all when I ordered but didn't think too much of it. Then around 7pm the place is empty and they just mopped when a young lady walked in and asked this barista "oh are you guys still open"... barista just says "at the counter"... so the customer again said "ok but you are open?" The barista then just said "ya at the counter.... Then snarky says "where the register is". This customer was being so polite as to not order something when she's thinking they might be closing. This is by far the worst Starbucks location in QC. Never have come across such an incompetent staff until frequenting this location. Every time I come in, drinks are made wrong, employees have terrible attitude when you ask for what you're paying for to be remade, and they rarely will honor the deals going on in the app unless you fight them about it. Don't understand where it all went wrong, but this location needs some serious internal reconstruction. The young kids at any location in Chandler are far more professional and actually enjoy serving paying customers. read more

Why can't they observe the FILL LINE where I marked the cup to put less soy milk in? So I returned the drink. Then they made a new one, that tasted like acidy dish water, diluted down. Then he made another one, that tasted the same, and told me that several customers complained about the same thing. I went to the counter, and she just said it tasted fine to her. I asked , did you drink out of my drink (she hadn't) and neither had tasted all THREE bad drinks. I told her that others had been complaining, not just me, that there may be something wrong with the machine. She went to check the meter on the machine and said it was fine. OKKAYYYYY, so why do the drinks suck, then? Apparently myself and other customers are delusional? Then she starts talking about vendor issues etc. And I had to say, I don't work here. She said as long as it was a tea... which is what we wanted anyway -- 3 passion fruit teas with lemonade. So lucky, because we had a long drive ahead of us. Everyone here is always professional and kind. Today John helped my friends and I get exactly what we wanted and it was super delicious. He was fun and outgoing and also shared some laughs with us. My first time ever at this location was a few months ago, and i was given the worst first impression by the lady who works there with black hair. I'm a delivery driver so i was just waiting in line for a pick up order, and before ever greeting me or helping me she says with an attitude "you need to tell me what you're here for" which immediately threw me off because i was just waiting in line. I'm also a starbucks worker myself, so i was genuinely just shocked how unprofessional that was. Clearly i tried to ignore her because this was months ago, and i didn't care enough to write a review until now. Because everytime i go to this location now, she has a bad attitude, doesn't help me at all as a customer, and gives me dirty looks. I'm surprised whoever is in charge is allowing her to act like this, because im a quiet and reserved person i can't imagine how she treats difficult customers. I am a regular at this Starbucks and today I came in with tears in my eyes, asked for an ice water, and sat down to use the wi-fi. John recognized my bad day and made me my usual to improve my day. Of course this just made me cry more, but happy tears. These people are not just employees, they are family to those of us that are regulars. There are so many people who come in here that are rude to the baristas and I just do not understand that. Being nice is so much easier than being rude. John made my day when I needed it the most. I have been going to this Starbucks for several months now. There are a few amazing employees but also some not so nice ones. I have had orders placed online not made I have drive thru orders messed up and Today I went to order online and yet again it wasn't available. I thought must have been a lot of callouts so I went in. There were 7 employees behind the line and one on break at a table. I stood in line for 5 mins with three couples ahead of me before someone went to the register to help us. Employees seemed annoyed and took their time to help those of us in line. They were also very annoyed at the drive thru line that was all the way to Wells Fargo at this point. 20 mins for a coffee! I wanted to order food but they were out of egg bites. As a GM of a multi concept unit including two coffee shops I just saw so much money flying out the door. So many unhappy customers. Hopefully the GM reads this and can make changes. read more

I hate writing negative reviews, but I have to always be honest. I ordered an espresso shot and a tall regular coffee. The nice person at the counter forgot to give me my coffee and so I had to wait until he was done with the customers in line. The espresso shot was the worst I had ever had. It definitely gave me energy, but the taste was nasty. The regular coffee was over brewed and too strong. Overall, I am not a fan of Starbucks. ITS CHRISTMAS EVE and where do we get coff3e? Starbucks of course! Or so we thought. Online the hours said 3. We pull up and the drive thru line is of course maybe 15+ cars so i dwcide to go inside. Walk up and see about 10 people inside and a starbucks employee sweeping. Thats weird to be sweeping so ealy early especially with customers inside unless someone dropped and spilled somthing. I go to the front door and its locked. Weird. Even when the sign says 3pm. Walk to the side door and its unlocked. Try walking in and a super rude and short employee said i couldnt come in and order because they closed the lobby inside but said i could go through the drive thru. I asked why the oter customers could be inside and its NOT even noon yet. They close at 3 and inside wasnteven swamped. Is this the store policy to close earlier then the hours posted? Then close the lobby? Doesnt seem like good practoce and management to me. Hope to hear a reason or a reply to this as to why i was turned away and waa spoke to not nice. I should have made a problem out of it but i didnt. Hear starbucks takes pretty good care of their employees and to be spoken to like i did and yo be tunred away 3 hours before closing as the hours said online and the paper on the store. And when some of the customers left from the inside they werent even letting new customers in. Turned away alot of business. I love this Starbucks but always such long lines. I feel 20 to 30 min to wait for a coffee is way too long!! Drive thru is always a long wait. Walk inside and think it's shorter. Think again. Another Starbucks needs to be opened in this area. I'll start driving further out to go to the ones in grocery stores. Ridiculous. Like my previous review. Staff is great!!!
