I've been coming to this Starbucks location for three years now, and it never fails - the customer service has simply never improved. What's particularly frustrating is that this isn't a generational issue. I often hear people blame younger workers for lacking work ethic or older workers for being set in their ways, but this location has a wide age range of employees, and the poor service is consistent across the board. This tells me the real problem is leadership and management, not the staff themselves. When you have team members of all ages struggling with basic courtesy and customer service, that points to a lack of proper training, standards, and accountability from management. Good leadership should bring out the best in any team, regardless of age or background. I keep hoping things will turn around, but after three years of the same issues, it's clear nothing is changing here. I was in the area and was craving the Starbucks Ube coconut macchiato drink. It is an iced item, but I love it hot. I tried it hot at a different location and mentioned it to the staff here. It is my new favorite coffee drink. They were so kind and tried to make it for me. The flavor was good, but I forgot to say no toasted coconut flakes. read more

This place makes nasty cold foam. The place was not that busy during the time I walked in. But the employee was rush. Cold foam supposed to be creamy not like this bubbly. When she pour the cold foam into the coffee, the cold foam sink to the bottom right away. Tried to order the same drink many times with this place. Always disappointed. read more

This time though I felt like reviewing because it's first time I actually park and come inside. Laptop at hand, I wanted a hot cup of coffee while it is cold outside. I love how big it actually is and has plenty of sitting space. I always wish Starbucks music was very low volume but it never is, no different than any other location. The space though is great! Rude crew... Weak manager! So I stop by today at this store and since the moment I got in nobody... yes, NO ONE was nice to me even though I said: Hello! twice. I had to wait over 12 minutes in order to get my coffee, even a young "lady" got her over before me when she order AFTER me. That girl was annoying and distracting the manager from her duties (as supporting her crew to be faster and more efdicient). Also, I noticed! It seems like drive thru orders are top priority than the ones taken inside the store. When I talked to the manager she tried to excuse herself and her employees about the delay with the customers in the lobby... instead of just listen to customers concerns and simply apologize for the inconvinient... Have been here a handful of times now since location is very convenient for me. This Starbucks is located in the busy Higley Village Professional Plaza, sandwiched between Cobblestone car wash and Perspire Sauna Studio. I haven't stepped foot inside yet, I've only utilized the drive-thru. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. I'm greeted with a warm smile everytime. They always make genuine small talk while I wait for my drink at the window and my interactions with them have been enjoyable. The wait is never long. I'm usually in and out of the drive-thru in under 10 minutes! My go-to drink is an oat milk latte with 3 packets of real honey (not the blend syrup) and cinnamon powder. I've had it hot and cold, and both were prepared exactly how I like it. I don't go to Starbucks often anymore, but when I do, this is my preferred location! read more

This used to be my "home" Starbucks and my favorite. The manager has let this Starbucks customer service go down hill. She is rude to the customers, inflexible and a poor listener. You can even see some of the employees hide their shock. It's crazy to watch! Just let people come, savor their coffee, and enjoy their morning among friends. I have been a customer for almost five years. It is a high volume store, that is hustling all the time. I was always in awe of the efficiency and consideration from all the staff. I knew them all by name and shared lots of smiles. Always an inspiring message on the cups for the regulars. I used to spend thousands of dollars a year in Starbucks. No more. I have grown to love TopCup and it is worth driving a few miles to a pleasant place to laugh and share coffee with friends. The best way to to register a complaint is to take your dollars elsewhere. I just moved to Gilbert this month from CA and this has been my go-to starbucks since and every single visit they have great hospitality and customer service. First day I went, I went to study and didn't purchase anything, however one of the workers brought me a complimentary tea which was a great first experience. Next time I came through the drive thru, they forgot my cheese danish or maybe I left too soon to get it but I called back and they were more than happy to accommodate me and gave me a freshly warm danish. The cherry on top for this review was today's experience when the worker handed me my drink and left the sweetest note! I love this Starbucks!!!!! I'm normally not a Starbucks person, but ever since coming to this location I find myself coming back almost daily. Every worker is so kind and always in a great mood which is a really nice way to start my morning. They always have my mobile order drink right and ready on time too! If you are coming here to do work, it is super cold and the music is louder than most, but just bring a sweatshirt and headphones and it's no problem.
