I was in the area for an appointment. And of course there's a Starbucks near by & why not! I usually get the Pink drink or iced pumpkin Chai (when in season). The workers here are 5 stars! They are so sweet. This starbucks is often crowded and isn't really a comfortable place to hangout. Also, it's often randomly closed. I usually am not the biggest fan of Starbucks coffee but this is the closest cafe to me, and I have a strong love-hate relationship with it. When I was at my lowest & did not have Wi-Fi for the first couple weeks of moving in, I worked out of this Starbucks and there were few seating areas and lots of outlets. I have not worked out of here since but I saw that they removed almost all their seating inside. It was also a pretty noisy space with loud music and people talking. I do not recommend as a meeting or remote working space. Usually super, super busy & crowded from early morning to lunch with lots of medical professionals, families, & students picking up coffee. Waiting times can be really tough when in a rush but mobile ordering ahead makes it a tiny bit shorter. Workers have always been friendly & helpful to me, definitely some of the strongest soldiers of our time. I personally try to avoid this store at all costs but I do appreciate how it's always here when I need it most. read more

Im torn here. This is a place for regulars, of which I am not. In desperation for breakfast this was my only choice. The sad looking parklet was devoid of table & chairs, but it did have a plastic cup rolling around the floor. OK, time to enter. They're across the street from medical buildings, so props for the ramp entrance. Garbage on the floor. Obnoxious loud music, bring headsets if u want to use your laptop. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", "Always There to Remind Me" ....... The Fruit & Cheese Box was minutes away from being expired. The grapes had a weird aftertaste & the apple slices were brown. Cheese passed muster. The dirty window i was facing had a view of paint dripped graffiti. There was also a view of 5 garbage cans. There are 8 tables, 4 had zero chairs, the other had 1 chair each. Wow, for a Starbucks this is location is by far the worst location and to think I used to work here. My experience as a customer is by far revolting. They question my husband regarding the name of the account as well as the Starbucks deal for Thursday of 50% off to any handcrafted drinks. I mean as an employee you should know any promotion for the day or week etc. Also, they don't follow the company recipe for a basic drink left alone a request on how a customer would want their drink made. What's the point of the policy of "we'll remake the drink if not satisfied with the taste", therefore they should make the drinks correctly to avoid having to come back to another store. Has Starbucks Company had change their policy on providing actual customer service? Yesterday I got a shot of espresso that was surprisingly good (balanced flavor, a good pull and even some crema on top). I had some hope that the quality of their espresso was improving. But today proved me wrong. The shot I got today was back to the poor excuse for espresso that seems to plague most Starbucks I've gone to. Basically a small shot of strong coffee. Not rich and satisfying with a good layer of thick crema on top like espresso should be. I can't quite understand why a company that specializes in coffee can't consistently make a reasonably good shot of espresso. Their baristas are trained and the machines are the same at every store. I know it seems petty for me to complain but Starbucks strives to make good quality drinks, many of which start with a shot or two of espresso. I have a Nespresso machine at home that makes a great, quality shots day after day that stand head and shoulders above any shot I've ever had a Starbucks. Why can't they make a simple decent shot? I asked for a low fat caramel macchiato and it tasted horrible. When I went back and said it did not taste right, I received "the caramel drops to the bottom" as if this was my first coffee drink from them (I guarantee it will be the last for any Starbucks). My daughter was receiving infusions at the Ida Friend Infusion Center throughout the week of November 18-22, 2019. Each day was approximately 8-10 hours. It was nice to see a Starbucks a block away. I have been to many cities and many Starbucks over the years. I want to thank Ituala (photo attached with her permission) for her friendliness and kindness. Each day I would go to starbucks and get my daughter a drink, or a snack. Ituala was always...always...always upbeat and friendly. She remembered my name, she asked about my daughter, she even sent my daughter a gift of a cookie and drink. Employees with these personal skills, in my mind, are what makes a company successful.
