When I got here, these people were already closed. They close rather early in the evening, at 9 PM. But, instead of being rude like the other STARBUCKS I visited later, these folks were polite enough to answer the speaker and tell me that they were closed, and inform me about the other one down near Sam's that was still open until 9:30 PM. I raced down to the other one, but they closed their doors about five minutes early and were very rude. The attitude of the other Store made me appreciate these. Even though they were closed, they were kind enough to tell me they were closed, and direct me to one it was open. The other STARBUCKS has lost my regular business, and I will now drive all the way down to this location, because of their kindness. read more

The staff members were peppy keeping a bounce in their steps and when a passenger in my car ordered something with the ingredients they didn't have they were willing to improvise with replacement ingredients just to make it work if that's what we wanted. read more

Barista working on Sunday January 19th in the evening was extremely rude. Not the usual for this location, everyone is always friendly. I ordered my drinks on the app and simply picked up, he opened the window and handed me my drinks and simply shut the window on me before I could ask for napkins and walked off. This Starbucks has to have the friendliest staff that I've ever seen. From start to finish they were very nice and efficient at taking our orders and cranking through a massive morning rush in the drive-through. Even with the line all the way up across the parking lot, I was only in line for probably less than 10 minutes which considering that Starbucks is making handcrafted drinks for everyone, this is pretty amazing. read more

It took about 20 minutes to get my drink... with only one car ahead of me. Not only that but I almost broke the system by asking for coffee in my tumbler. At 99.9% of places I've been to this means I generally get a cheaper price, senior price, small coffee price, refill price, something. But not at Starbucks. Then it was only filled about 2/3 (it was a 20 oz tumbler). Overall between the wait, the confusion, the full price equals me not coming back to this location for mediocre coffee. read more

I ordered a salted caramel nitro cold brew this morning and it tasted TERRIBLE, was not cold, and was delivered to me in an oversized Central Perk-style mug for me to somehow claw out of the mug "for sanitation". The other Starbucks locations offer drinks on A TRAY. What's wrong with that? Also ordered one of their new special dark roast coffees and was told that "it's gonna be a pour-over, so it'll take a few minutes extra". I said ok, that's fine. The barista, Sora, replied that because my coffee was a pour-over she could make me a different drink if I wanted. She suggested a few and suggested I pick one of those instead. Uh, no, please just make me the drink that I ordered! It's not my problem if y'all only make the special dark roast as a pour-over! I got 3 drinks total and the barista didn't ask me if I needed a drink carrier, nor did she offer me one. She seemed really irritated that I dared to order a pour-over that would take them a few extra minutes when there was no cars behind me and the parking lot wasn't even half full. They weren't remotely busy, but yeah, get mad at your paying customers for daring to order a slightly complicated coffee drink. This place has always sucked but now it's worse. read more

San Angelo is an awful place, all on it's own. Having the slowest Starbucks in the entire universe does not surprise me. There is no parking. NONE Do not even think about parking... seriously, it's not going to happen. If you DO get a space, prepare to sit for a while, as all parking is blocked by folks in the drive-through line. Now, speaking of the drive-thru line... be prepared to wait a VERY LOOOONNNNNGGG time there. Know that people stuck in above mentioned parking spaces are going to be very frustrated becase they cannot get out of their spots because of the creep along forever line, and you're going to get dirty looks. This must be the absolute worst Starbucks ever. 7 people working--3 of whom literally stand around and watch the other 4 work (at a glacial pace). I've seen busy Starbucks before where the wait was due to the volume of traffic coming in and out of the store--and that is perfectly ok. But when the poor service comes from an complete ineptitude, poor management, poor human resource management, and lack of customer service training--that is unacceptable. Besides the lack of parking, it's a typical Starbucks with typical wait times. If you don't have time to wait, then make sure you're not going to Starbucks during their busiest times. Obviously, the more crowded the place is inside and out, the longer it will take to get your drinks since everything is made as ordered. I've personally been to this Starbucks 4 times and have waited under 5 minutes to receive my drink. I've yet to see this place overcrowded or with long lines. I've been to other Starbucks out of state with worse wait times because of the amount of people at all hours. However, every time I pass by here there is hardly anyone in the lot or line. It's your typical Starbucks with typical wait times and the typical menu. The establishment is clean, the staff is friendly, and the wait times are normal. It's always important to consider the fact this establishment cannot pre-make their products like other fast food restaurants. The drinks are made as they are ordered in the order they are placed. Starbucks. I was so excited when this place first opened, it's close to my house. But I was also in class doing a research on the Starbuck coffee and the concept of how the business started. Hmm...not going into details... I've had better Starbucks than the one here in San Angelo. I think some of their staff need to spend time in training how to make the drinks. I ask for a Chai Latte not something that it didn't even resemble the taste. I bring the drink back thinking it was a mistake...I was told that they don't know how to make it..really!! The parking lot was completely full and the drive-thru line was almost to the road. As previously stated, it's not the workers's faults if they're trying their best to get drinks and food out, but have a lot of customers. However, there was only one or two people actually working. The person that took my order stood and watched as someone else made it. It took a while for me and the people in front of me to get our drinks. When I got mine, the coffee was slightly warm. An okay drinking temperature, but when I took a sip, I knew something was wrong. I just moved here from another state and I would always order the same thing: a chai latte with toffee shots. It tasted the same no matter where I went. When I bought it from this Starbucks, it had a dirty taste... At first I wasn't really sure about it, but as I drank more, I had to stop. It was disgusting.. EDIT: I figured out they gave me a chai tea latte with toffee instead of a chai latte which explains why the drink was gross. read more

they've had mobile ordering turned off for a month. and before then i waited 40 minutes on a mobile order, 25 of those being in the store and they just ignored me for 20 minutes. the barista on the hot bar closest to mobile pick up was super rude and always has a bad attitude. i've seen her being rude to multiple people on two separate occasions. the manager on duty was annoyed she had to make my iced coffee (one of the simplest drinks on the menu) herself. where's their DM? the way this store is run would not have been able to slide when Lisa was the manager, who i worked under, or at the out of town starbucks i worked in either. this store is overall bad for the company. AND now they do this thing where they say "hi my names ____ what's yours?" and it's a super uncomfortable introduction and a tad bit childish. i don't wanna tell you my name or start off with it. and this morning i had to make the girl put iced on my drink on the screen because twice now i've gotten a hot drink when i ordered iced read more

The drive through takes about 15 minutes to get through on a good day. The inside wait is just as long, but you have the added benefit of not being able to pull out of this poorly designed parking lot. To compliment Starbucks' policy of not handing out drink stoppers for their hot beverages you get to have your scalding hot coffee ham-fistedly shoved into your grasp so you can be sure it burns you. They also don't stock a lot of the fruit you can find anywhere else in the country, but I'm sure that's due to the low demand in this obese part of America. read more

Went on a Friday afternoon and stayed to do some work and sip on some coffee. Quick and friendly! Not pristine cleanliness but not necessarily dirty either. Just some crumbs, etc. here and there--not a huge deal. Will probably be the coffee shop I most frequent while in San Angelo. read more

The only complaint I have with this Starbucks is that they don't provide meals or many of the other options that the other Starbucks provide. My bigger complaint is that whenever you order a bakery item or anything that's suppose to be hot it never is. It's mildly warm as soon as you get it for 10 seconds. read more

I'm not going to mention the wait time and the lines, those are already well documented about this place. These guys just don't listen to your order. My wife and I drove up and made our order, my wife made sure to mention light ice. Shouldn't be a big deal, except they gave us a partially filled Venti cup. We sent it back and said to fill it to the top with soy milk, only to be filled with tiny bit of soy and a crap ton of ice. On top of that, they outright forgot our cheese danishes. Went here and they had no hot coffee at all because of some water pressure malfunction. No coffee, no espresso, no hot drinks at all here. Couldn't believe it. That wouldn't have been so bad if the lady who had taken my order didn't decide to pick up the phone that was ringing and instead of placing it on hold decided to have a 5 minute conversation.
