Went in about a month ago and asked for a coffee traveler and was told they could not provide it for me due to being short handed. I told the guy that I would be willing to wait a while, and he told me that they would not be able to get me one and to try back in 2 hours. Well really what can I say that the other reviewers haven't already touched base with??... incredibly rediculous parking area and drive thru wait.. baristas were not friendly, and my drink was probably luke warm I'd say. My daughters seems to love the hot chocolate and cinnamon roll she had.. but not the lemon cake, she said something was off with the icing, but that's from a child's point of view. I had a breakfast sandwich that was rather dusgusting. I believe it was ham and swiss with egg.. it was about a ten min drive to work, but when I sat down to eat my breakfast sandwich... it was so hard to bite through it.. I travel often and this Starbucks was the messiest and dirtiest Starbucks I have been in...ever. Employees on break in the seating area with an apron on and can't pick up a broom!?! I should have left when I saw the mess, decided not to get food and stick with coffee. After I maneuver around a ton of merchandise in the boxes I ordered my coffee. Peppermint latte (it's the holiday season), no mocha, low fat milk. Order was repeated to me and I paid. When I received my coffee it was a peppermint mocha with regular milk. So dissatisfied, I just tossed it and went to a gas station / convenient store. At least they were cleaner. read more

Maybe it's because this is really the only Starbucks in San Angelo, but the service here--particularly the drive-thru (we go through every Friday night!)--is really good. They are always friendly and usually quick. Occasionally, we have some a-hole holding up the line in the car ahead of us with a giant order, but we don't mind. The absolute WORST thing about this place is its awkward location. It's hard to turn into the parking lot/drive-thru is tough because there's not enough space. read more

I put in a mobile order 10 minutes before I came to Starbucks. I walked in with someone and the baristas made her walk-in order before mine. As well as other drive-thru drinks. I stood inside waiting for almost 10 minutes. Is this how mobile ordering is supposed to work?? If so, then there is no point to it. I also ordered a caramel macchiato and there was no caramel drizzle. I'm extremely disappointed in the drink and the service. read more

I only gave this Starbucks three stars because it's the only one in the area and because I don't think it's fair to blame the employees for the location and cramped space. With that said... There is hardly ever any parking. If you DO get a parking space, have fun getting out of it. The line is always so long, and there is always some kind of jam every time I go there. The staff is extremely rushed and can sometimes come off as very abrasive. When I do decide to sit down and have my coffee, the atmosphere is not ever relaxing. It is quite cramped, and to make a not-so-great situation worse, there are always boxes everywhere stacked high! San Angelo is in need of at least one more Starbucks, and certainly one in a better location. There is one very sweet barista that works there though, that always has something nice to say. If you're looking for Starbucks coffee and don't mind the line situation, hit-or-miss customer service, or sitting in your car waiting to get out of a parking spot for 10 minutes, then by all means, brave the San Angelo Starbucks. Terrible customer service, I waited over 30 minutes for a cup of coffee. Absolutely ridiculous, don't go unless you have all day for a cup of coffee. This is the friendliest Starbucks on the planet. They know names and drinks as soon as many customers walk in. I read the other reviews and why would you complain about parking when it is not something the actual employees can change? The beverage quality is always perfect....friendly faces. People complain about the wait-but it is Starbucks!!!! Thats what happens at a Starbucks. Go to Stripes if you want fast coffee. read more

I can't review the quality of their drinks because I was never waited on. There only two workers on a Saturday! One was attempting to take roses from both the drive through and the walk-ins while the other attempted to make the drinks. No one greeted me as a walked in and no one said "we'll be with you in just a bit." After a few minutes of just standing there and being ignored, I left. I agree with most of the other reviewers here...this place needs new management and training! read more

The drive through and parking are both riduculous at both Starbucks here. I will never park and go in because you may never get to leave, it may be faster to get your drink but you will be stuck in the parking spot till your hair turns gray. however, even after waiting 30 minutes in drive through, and with only 5 cars in front of me...the Caramel Dolce Latte was worth the wait..perfect.! read more

Out of the two licensed Starbucks stores in town, this one is by far the worst. I've stopped by a few times thinking I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Each time, the register person has acted like I interrupted something major and can't be bothered by me. In addition, the bar people do not follow Starbucks routines and standards when making drinks, and I always have to coach them. It's incredibly frustrating to not get the same level of satisfactory service at each Starbucks location. I will continue to visit the other location. read more

This Starbucks did not have long lines but oh my gosh, the drinks were horrible. The lady was new at the counter and in order for us to use our free drinks rewards we were informed we are suppose to tell her "way in advance" so we were not allowed to use them. Ok, then the drinks came out and the grande iced macchiato tasted bad, the iced coffee was bad, I don't know how that can go wrong, I believe the milk was sour, they forgot 2 of our drinks and they were made the wrong size, it was uncomfortable to even ask for our drinks to be made again, it was not a welcoming environment. Yea I should have read the reviews. Way long wait. About 30 minutes. Then when I received my drink the condiment bar was out of half and half. The two folks that were making coffee were all in but the two who looked to be management were standing there watching the line not doing anything to help. Be prepared to wait. read more

Let me just give y'all a little insight on what the baristas go through. I work for this starbucks and keep seeing all these awful reviews when we have without a doubt come a long way since carmen was our general manager. The reason it takes so long to make your drink is because we have to make drive thru drinks including cafe. So if a soccer mom orders 9 drinks in one car thats 9 drinks plus the other 12 you have to make in less than 5 minutes. In the morning we have two baristas on hot bar so cafe and drive thru noramlly go pretty quick. However, if you go during afternoon/evening times we only have 1 barista for drive thru and cafe. If we could have two baristas on hot bar and another barista on cold bar then we would get y'alls drinks out quickly. If you dont already know Starbucks has a HIGH turn over rate with employees because not very many people can keep up with the pace/rude customers and get minimum wage. Frapuccinos take longer than any drink because the amount of moving/steps you have to do. If you're wondering why we dont hire more people...........we do! New people only last maybe a month if that. Bryan our new GM is amazing! He is hiring left and right. We are trying to get our times better and have better customer care. We get it not everything is going to be perfect all the time. We really do want all of our customers to have an amazing experience at our store. When your drink is wrong it is not the person on bars fault. It is the cashier. The person on bar just reads the sticker. DONT HOOVER OVER THE HOT BAR! How would you like it if I came to your job and was standing over you staring at your every move? If for some reason we forgot your pastry, PLEASE go to the cashier and tell them because that was their responsibility. Do not walk over to the person on hot bar and ask for your pastry. Last thing. If you order our hot food items this can take awhile because we only have 1 oven and each sandwhich takes 1-2 minutes. We put in your sandwhich as soon as you order it but if its morning time their could be 7 sandwhiches waiting to be put in the oven. read more
