Ordered the honey badger coffee (with oat milk, honey, and house coffee) and a chocolate croissant. I really love the country look in this establishment and how they have different seating areas. The employees greet you and they are friendly. They help you customize your coffee. They have pastry available and bteakfast options. Plus they sell ice cream. The reason I gave this place 4 star, is because the croissants were not fresh.. when I bit into it wasn't crisp on the outside and It looked deflated. Just the texture is not what I am used to having. I have had this item in the past but in other locations and they were freshly baked. Next time I will try the one without chocolate. Came here for the first time with a group last week. Instantly loved the wood walls and adorable decor. They have tons of little nooks which make for great private study spaces. I had a latte with coconut milk and loved every drop. Someone in my group had a seasonal chai with gingerbread and I can't wait to come back and try it! I was passing through town and wanted to try a new coffee place so I stopped by Cold Smoke. I ordered the Smokey Mountain S'mores drink iced and it tasted exactly like a s'mores, and I liked how it wasn't too sweet. The whipped cream looked house made, and the drink came out quick. My wife and I love coming to this place! We don't normally get food here just coffee but we really enjoy the seating and ambiance of the place itself making it feel very cozy! Moving into the food and drink items! I got a Large Drunken Moose which I really enjoyed and was honestly pretty good, I would say I can have maybe a little stronger taste to really define bourbon or rum (I forgot which one it says it tastes like) in it! My wife got the blended Cool Bean, it was good and of course sweet, but do know that the blended Cool Bean and the Cool Bean Drink do taste different, I personally enjoy it just plain, not blended. Last up we had the Oreo Dream Bar! Not gonna lie it was amazing to say the least, very rich, creamy, and cakey! I will say that it is good for two people because of how rich the flavor is but it was perfect for us! My only downfall with this place is the customer service. I'm not trying to be an a-hole or sound peppy but you'd think that if there isn't really anyone in the place that the people behind the counter would at least greet you walking in, instead of all starring at you. Just gives me a weird vibe to be honest. Most of the girls behind the counter as well always give my wife and I both attitude for 0 reason when we are always nice and always tip, just makes it unejoyable and uncomfortable. We are unable to come back to here unfortunately because we moved but hopefully other people get to experience it as well! read more

Very cute coffee shop!! The ambiance is as if you're in Colorado in a lodge. It's very cozy with 2 areas of couches, a fireplace and the booths could make you feel secluded if you're wanting to concentrate on work. The coffee was delicious! The cinnamon bun was as delicious! Maybe it was just my tastebuds, but the Vanilla Latte I had was not that flavorful and it was not very hot, maybe lukewarm at best. Tried again a second time and still didn't care for the taste of the Vanilla Latte, but it was definitely hot this time! Service was excellent and the ambience is great. We have been here a couple of times now and have tried coffees, teas, and Red Bull drinks--all have been very tasty! We haven't had a complaint and I think the value is good. Bearded Man is my favorite here! Also, we have always been greeted timely and with positivity. Definitely plan on continuing to come when we are in town! read more

But customer service is terrible.. as they hate each other and are rude to one another.... it's very awkward the few times of come here and have noticed this.. I have been here a few times. I enjoy the atmosphere and the little store next to it, but my grievance is customer service. You walk in and approach the counter and if staff is busy, they will NOT acknowledge you at all until minutes later. They can be 2 feet from you and walking back and forth in front of you and still, they will not acknowledge you - I was at counter at least 5 min. I find that so f..g rude. I can go elsewhere folks. This is going to break your business because eventually your frequent customers will get fed up feeling under appreciated. And next time that happens to me, I will call you out. :( The other comment for staff is to check the floor for cleanliness. I was there at 0800 and already there are crumbs and coffee spilt on the floor around a coffee tables. I'm inclined to think that they didn't bother to clean the night before by the looks of it. What a shame. Lastly, I noticed a sign on a trash bin that said if trash is full to use another trash can. Really? Here's an idea, how about YOU check the trash can and if it's full, maybe you should replace the bag. Been here a couple times now... Food and coffee are good, but service is extremely slow. The first time I came, I chalked it up to the volume of customers. This time I stood at the front of the line for about 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then was told they would be with me shortly. Five minutes later, I am still standing in line. I like this place and want to give it a chance, but they need to work on efficiency and customer service if I am going to continue to be a patron. This place has really gone done hill! What use to be one of my favorite places for coffee slowly has just gotten worse. I order the same drinks and what use to be wonderful full of flavor is now never consistent in the taste, taste awful and even lukewarm to cold. Not to mention the staff has become increasingly rude no customer service skills at all. Very unfortunate cause the place is so cozy and beautiful inside and was one of my favorite now no longer is. As others have mentioned, this is a super cute coffee shop. Conveniently located across from ASU. I went in with my kids at a "non-peak" hour, 3:00 pm, to get a coffee and ice cream. We walked in and saw that there wasn't anyone waiting. With 3 employees standing behind the counter, not one of them acknowledge or even said they would be with us shortly. Two of them made direct eye contact and didn't say a word. Finally, the 3rd employee noticed us standing at the ice cream counter (after about 5 minutes) and motioned to one of the other two to go over and help. Will we go back? Maybe. Such a cute place with a lot of potential. Hopefully their customer service improves. read more

I don't agree with the lower reviews. I have been to this coffee shop more than 10 times and every time I go the staff have been friendly and helpful. Today they made my coffee completely wrong. I asked for a Smokey mountain s'mores, and I've been getting this drink for well over a year. They put 2 shots of espresso in it, not telling me they changed their menu or even putting it up on the menu for public eye. My friends used to work here so I know that the powder already has a little bit of caffeine in it, so adding more without telling me could have been super bad for me due to my adhd. It'll make me extremely hyper and I just wanted my normal coffee. No hate to the workers but we should really get what we payed for, or atleast a heads up. read more
