We got here around 9:00ish on Saturday morning and there were only a few people in front of us, but by the time that we got there, he was out of the pistachio-chocolate croissants. A-L-A-S!!! We settled on the turkey-pesto-cheese, a vanilla bun, and an almond croissant. The space is tiny, so obviously there's no room to sit and we took our treats to a nearby playground. GOOD GOLLY, these are delicious baked goods. Hashtag impressed. It's better than any bakery we've been to in Austin and as good as Common Bond in Houston (original location, before they expanded and went downhill). The almond one was just *slightly* overcooked, but the filling was incredible. The vanilla bun was simple and elegant and perfect. Loved the savory one as well. We're still thinking about them all two days later...! The guy working was super friendly and not in any kind of rush and was patient with our daughter since she was out of her mind with sugary anticipation excitement. Only (minor complaint): provide napkins! Build it into the cost if you need to, but those should be included in your to-go bag. Anyway, this is a San Angelo miracle shop. Please get this guy one of those arty ewes out front!! If we're ever back again, this will be our first stop in the morning. 4.5 stars, happily rounding up.
