Not many places for Boba in the San Angelo area so we were glad to find Blue Tiger with a wide variety of Milk Tea, Fruit Tea, Coffee, Latte/Macchiato, Ice blends, toppings, and a few food choices. There's plenty of parking outside and 7 tables inside. Our order came out within 5 min. Coming from California where these Boba shops are everywhere, I can say Blue Tiger isn't bad. The boba was soft but not warm and was medium firm inside so it's not fresh boba but good enough for the area. The tea to boba ratio and other ingredients was also satisfactory overall, some drinks do taste better than others. There were options to reduce the ice and sugar levels so we appreciated that. Tabletop games are available but seems worn down. Pricing is good for Boba but might seem expensive for the area. Tables, chairs, and floors could be cleaner. One of the workers had a phone on and was constantly receiving a text so the dings were annoying. Don't forget to ask for a Loyalty Punch Card. My stars are based on the area not compared to more denser ethnically mixed cities.

Great hangout spot for first date or studying spot. Board games and chill vibe. Boba and doughnut were delicious. Service was very fast and friendly. I think I found my new favorite spot. I can't wait to come back!

We walked in and were greeted right away. We were asked if it was our first time, and it was since I am temporarily working in San Angelo. The menu was explained to us and there are so many options! We have lived in Houston for about 9 years, so I was worried that my standards were going to be too high for drinks. My husband and I both got the tiger taro slush. Mine with brown sugar boba my husband with mango. 10 out of 10 rating for both of us! We absolutely loved it. Perfect flavoring, just the right sweetness, although you can adjust that to your liking. We will for sure be back

A pleasant foodie surprise in San Angelo!…read more I had to come into San Angelo for work and going into the trip, I was not too excited about my food options available to me as a vegetarian...but I did find Buttercup online and it seemed close enough to those "hip, city coffee shops", meaning I should be able to get some decent food! Unfortunately, a lot of their hot sandwich options were off the table since they seemed to have a broken toaster, but I was able to order a hummus veggie sandwich that came with seasoned potato chips, a side salad, and a stick of chocolate. I also got a vanilla cake bite (pop without the stick) and everything was about $18 with tip. I didn't feel like trying any of the drinks, but some of the coffee flavors sounded interesting and they have seasonal flavors too. The ambiance is inviting, and definitely feels like a cozy place for the community to come hang. If you ever find yourself in this part of west Texas, definitely keep this spot in your back pocket for close to healthy eats!

Love visiting Buttercup. The vibe in the shop is welcoming and calming. Like any good coffee shop,…read moreit makes you want to stay. The coffee options are plentiful and they do their own take on both custom and traditional coffee drinks. You will find all your caffeine needs here. They also have a good menu. It ranges from custom toasts to toasted bagels and even extensively crafted charcuterie boards. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. There are a few good coffee options in San Angelo and if you are in Buttercup's part of town, this is your stop.

I walked in expecting pie. I don't know why. Would this place have cake; does this guy bake?…read more Perhaps Creme Broulee, oh what the hay! To what did my wondering eyes then appear, the familiar face of a chocolatier. A smile so bright, and a charm beyond measure. We had just tumbled in to some Texas style treasure. All the rhyming aside I'm totally wondering why no one has told me about this place. As a person who enjoys eating regularly (ok 4 or7 times a day) I am always looking for something delectable to top my meal off. Something decadent, a dessert that makes me feel like I've just had an out of body experience. The sign out front had the word CHOCOLATE capitalized and so I decided it was time to take the plunge after driving by at least 10 times on the way to school and going to the grocery store. A jovial young man comes out and starts telling us everything. Explaining what this is and what that is. Truffles, Brittle with BACON IN IT (er, uh Squittle that is) and peanut brittle with red pepper flakes in it (Bronco Brittle is what it's called here pardners). He handed me a small white peanutty explosion of flavor that had my eyes rolling into my head. This guy had me. Oh I was totally and undeniably chocolate candy whupped! So as I'm trying to decide what I'm going to buy the candies are still gliding across my taste buds. Is that my leg moving? No I just thought it was. I'm having a reaction of pure bliss and of course this man is totally doing this to draw me further into the chocolate abyss from whence there is no return. Gotta think now. Can't spend my whole paycheck here. I steeled my emotions and I bought a couple of things and took them home. NO I haven't eaten them all yet! HMMMMPH! Of course now I have to find a secret place to hide all this stuff. I wonder if the attic is cool enough to keep these this time of year? Shhhh, don't tell my wife. Everything here is Texas themed and is in no way just a regular type of candy. Yes he makes candy other than chocolate but I'm a chocolate fiend and it is hard to focus on anything else. There was that one piece of candy with the bacon in it though. Now I'm of the opinion that you can add bacon to just about anything and it will be good. Peanut Brittle called Squittle with bacon in it is masterful offering of piggy peanut perfection. I purchased some Tumbleweeds too: a concoction of chocolate and coconut that a put a look of unadulterated ecstasy on my wife's face. Hey I thought I was the only one that could do that?!?! We also bought the Texas Buckshot truffles and they were amazing. These were beyond excellent but the one thing I truly enjoyed was The Original Concho Caramel. Chocolaty coating around a chewy caramel center with pecans. This is 7th heaven kind of stuff. The familiar face I saw there was James Crowder the proprietor. I recognized his face from the countless times I had seen him as salesman of the month, year, century at a realtor many years ago here in town. I wondered where he had gone and now that I know where he is and the amazing talent he is sharing with us here in the Concho Valley I am a customer for life. I've had chocolate brought to me from overseas: Italian, Belgian, French, and Irish and they were great but James has taken chocolate to the next level. He's made Chocolate Texas' next big thing to brag about! Now you know. So go get some! Support your local chocolatier!
