So I've been going to this locations many times because it's by my house and it's convenient. The unfortunate part is that the employees can be rude and give dirty looks. When I request a receipt, a straw or napkins I have seen with my own eyes when they roll their eyes. It hasn't just been one person but several. I am disappointed because I lived in Seattle for years and they have such positive energy where it's so contagious, but not here. I do enjoy the drinks but sometimes the cold brews are mixed. Not sure what's going on but it's sad. I hope they can have a bit of proper training on how to be a bit more upbeat with better customer service. read more

Second time I ordered with light ice and it comes full of ice. We call and talk with Jose (store manager) and he says bring the drink back and we will give you another one. Then I call back and tell him I'm supposed bring the drink and grab another for your mistake, where's the compensation in that for your guys mistake? He said we will give you a new drink and a recovery card....point is I specified light ice, the cup was nearly full of ice. I arrived at this location at 9:30pm and it was already closed even though the website says they close at 10pm. I called to see if there was a change in the hours of operation. The person who picked up the phone simply said hello instead of the usual phone greeting. He said that due to being "short staffed" they were closing early. I thought that was kind of funny because there were quite a few people "working" inside just chitchatting. Looking at their reviews it looks like closing early is a frequent occurrence at this location so if your thinking of stopping by later at night just go to a different location so you don't waste your time! read more

We came here to order two medicine balls and breakfast sandwiches. After opening our drink we noticed someone put the tea bag inside the drink with the paper still attached. As a former barista I know that the bags are supposed to be attached to the inside of the cup. This is unsanitary! read more

Very nice service! Super nice people! Very chill, very friendly, and super peaceful place to study! Usually come here right after work. They never fail me with my go to which is the iced toasted brown sugar oat-milk shaken espresso :) their mocha cookie crumble is very good too! This is usually my go to Starbucks but most of the times I go there the employees are always rude for absolutely no reason I try asking them something and they either tell me to wait in the worst time or they just ignore me for no absolute reason if they're gonna choose to act up then don't work there and completely ruins my day. Sometimes my drinks are good but other times they don't even make them right and they'll forget my add ins whenever I place an order through the app. The place is a a pretty cool area to hang out and do your work to pass the time. I'm not sure why this location is always closing early when their app doesn't say that it's closed. The employees also told me they closed the lobby at 8:30pm once yet their app and online hours don't say that. Even when their website says that they are open at night their drive thru is always closed and the workers inside ignore you and have the door locked. I am appalled that the 1598 n sanborn Rd Salinas ca location is open for business. I walked into the location and it smelled like feces. I asked why it smelled so weird, and I was told the sewage had backed up and flooded the store yesterday. The simple fact that the employees are cleaning it up is appalling because a bio hazard crew should be doing the cleaning. These poor kids are at risk of disease. The management should be fired for allowing this to happen. Not to mention putting customers at risk as well. For so much money the company makes, this is ridiculous and sad. Me and a few customers walked out of the place in disgust. I have contacted a health inspector to visit the location. Four Stars... Drive Thru is a plus, so quick and easy so for that one star. It's Starbucks, so hey star #2 As for star number three I gave it due to a friendly staff however they don't listen to well, I have no idea how many times I said "Venti White Chocolate" "Just a plain White Chocolate" I was assured by an "oh ok, I got you" but when my order gets called "White Chocolate Mocha" ahhh! No! I had to speak up this time. I ordered a plain white chocolate not a white chocolate mocha. The lady at the register overhears what I'm complaining about and says "oh. I thought you said white chocolate mocha." Hells no I didn't say that. Infact it took me three times telling you plain plain plain white chocolate. geez! Anyway this wasn't the first time nor the second hell not even the third time its happened. But this time I really wanted a plain white chocolate so I spoke up. & I'm glad I did because like I said; a friendly staff. I love going to this Starbucks because of the amazinggg ambience and the baristas!! Especially RAUL!! He's the best! If you happen to stop by, ask for him to make your beverage :) super friendly staff and they make sure to meet your every need. They do get super busy because they are a DRIVE-THRU location and have beverages from the cafe area and drive-thru, but always are attentive. I told her that I wanted a venti and she was giving me an attitude even though it wasn't my fault that they made the wrong size. I just visited this place about half an hour ago (7:00 am 2/11/16). To my surprise I got a Venti hot drink full of foam. My drink had no flavor either! Last time it happened to my girlfriend as well on a Grande drink. I let it slide once, but it has happened twice!!!! There is an employee responsible for this, but I will not disclose any names. They simply need to re-train some baristas. I don't mind having to stir my drink with sugar (on walk-ins only for obvious reasons). However, paying for a foam filled Venti is a disgrace. A few years back they had great staff. They owned up to their mistakes. For example, my friend bought a hot drink that tasted so-so. He was given a different one in return. Me and a friend we're waiting inside for our drinks the lobby was at max capacity and the manager made a rude remark that I found really offensive and by the looks on everyone's face in the lobby they felt the same way. She was frustrated because of how busy they were both in the drive thru and lobby, I get it we all get out under pressure while working in places that get packed. But I feel like she could've went about the situation differently. She made a remark about having people step out while they waited but she said " I'm not sure if these people are understanding what I'm saying, maybe I should speak Spanish so they can better understand what I'm saying" they way she said it and the tone in her voice made her sound so arrogant. I went in the drive-thru around 8pm... of course there were cars in front of me it is starbucks after all... that didn't bug me, what bugged me was it literally took almost 1 hour in line at the drive thru....
