This was a very pleasant Starbucks. We came in on a Monday at 8:30. It is very neat and clean. We ordered two Americano with peppermint cold foam. They were great. Our server was very nice and personable. Overall I enjoyed my experience here today.

Very friendly staff who are efficient and give you exactly what you ordered. Very mindful: don't ever change as that's very important. Plenty of parking and seating; nice and cool inside but not a refrigerator. Convenient location that takes you into Reno via 80E or away from Nevada into California via 80W.

A little wake up coffee to start my day in Reno Nevada. I'm in for the weekend visiting some friends and trying some food. The service was excellent. I love that Starbucks always serves with a smile. A little busy in the morning. The restrooms were clean, the tables were cleaned even the walkway to the front door was clean. The coffee I ordered was exactly what I wanted and the way I wanted it. We can all agree that nobody's perfect but this is as perfect as you get when ordering coffee. Thank you to everybody here. We appreciate you all even if no one tells you.

I guess the price of ice is risen dramatically as well as the price of gas.

Stopped in this morning for a chai and a breakfast sandwich. When I went to pay, I realized I had a free beverage for my birthday and the friendly barista also gave me a free cake pop to celebrate. What a nice surprise and what a great way to spend a birthday morning with my favorite beverage, a breakfast sandwich, and a cake pop for later. Thank you Starbucks! Five stars today for having Customer Service down to a find science and unmatched by anyone.

Stopped in for a Chai and there was a sign of barista favorites--I'm not sure how long this will be here or how often it changes. Want to try something new? Check these out!

A Starbucks is a Starbucks. Usually the drinks are consistent and the service is friendly. Here they were very polite and friendly. I was greeted right away. My order was taken and my drink was ready quickly. It tastes just like I had hoped. Initially I thought the store had closed. Starbucks has shut down many locations at home. Although the parking area is small we had no trouble parking. I saw a few of the more recent reviews and was surprised how bad they were. My experience was the opposite. I would recommend stopping here if you need a coffee.

This is the parking lot seen from inside, where Subaru wagons (beyond) are a common sight.  Beyond that chain link fence is a deep ravine.

"Wedges, edges, and ledges" They typical Starbucks easily gets 3 stars. It's rare to find one that earns 5 stars, at least from me. For this Northwest Reno Starbucks, which I once upon a time visited regularly, their breaking of the template from vapid strip mall digs into varied looking clusters of retail pads with different geometric shapes makes for a more interesting store. I'm talking about a vaulted, open ceiling once inside. And a floor plan that isn't squarish. And all kinds of soffits and ledges that make it even niftier. The product is standard Starbucks fare and, yes, I've noticed that their prices have gone up some. That medium sized (grande, I believe) cup of hot tea now costs a little more ... at all Starbucks stores. However, I came in to find the same enthusiastic and prompt service I was used to getting. There is an area at its perimeter with floor to ceiling windows if you want more of that high desert light. (There are also adjustable shades.) And there's an area closer to the bathrooms that is tucked away and has some big upholstered chairs. It's all good. The bathrooms are typically in clean enough and usable shape. There is also a small outside seating area and, on occasion, I've seen people bring their canine friends and, with the typically dry conditions, it's understandable why they would. There is a parking lot that is fairly spacious and, behind the ridge that this shopping area is perched on, there is a steep ravine. Who knows what the hell lives down here? I'm thinking coyotes and snakes, at the very least. But this Starbucks and adjacent stores feel very apart from that wild world below, allowing you to experience a suburban coffeehouse experience that doubles as suburban Californian. This Starbucks is just different enough on various levels that, with my 4 word tag line to describe this set-up - wedges, edges, and ledges, it's a 4 star Starbucks. And I'm glad I dropped by to see that things hadn't changed.

The wide angle lens makes the lot look bigger than it really is. Very close to the stoplight. Dead end to the right, no room to turn around.

I enjoy Starbucks' drinks, but every location has a different experience. The experience at this one is not bad, they are typically pretty quick with their service and theres not usually a wait. They have plenty of seating inside with natural light from all the windows, plus even some patio seating. The primary downside of this location is the parking situation. It is not in a good location because it is so close to the stoplight where there is frequently a line of cars, plus you go straight into the parking lot then immediately get cornered in a lot with barely any space to turn around or even back into/out of a spot. I always see people struggling to park and/or turn around in this lot. It is stressful when this happens at a busy time of day when there are a lot of cars here. This in itself has made me avoid coming to this Starbucks in the past. The Starbucks app also has a pretty limited menu for this location, it never lets me order a standard vanilla latte--only a blonde. However, they have the full menu in-store. I do still come to this location since it is the closest one to my house, but I wish they would fix the parking situation.

love coming here to get work done :)

This is one of my favorite Starbucks to go to in Reno! It's right off the highway, and easy to find, the parking lot is a little cramped so just be careful when you're driving in. I love coming here to study because of the big windows - lots of natural lighting that makes it bright and sunny while you're there and the atmosphere is perfect, there are people milling in and out because it's so accessible, but it never gets too loud because of the customers or the music. The service itself is also fantastic! The baristas are all super friendly, and very relaxed and welcoming. One time while I was there I was "that customer" because my mocha tasted more like a hot chocolate instead of a mocha and I went up and politely mentioned it and they gave me a new one for free without even hesitating - and with a smile on their face. I wish I knew the names of the especially nice baristas so I could give them a shoutout, but I guess I'll have to go there again and find out! The best part of the place - lots of tables, and OUTLETS!

    Half cup of coffee.

Ordered a small coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was half full and the sandwich was a huge mess in the bag, I had to put it together myself. Make sure you check everything before leaving the store and being disappointed.

This is posted on the wall. Something about that drawing of the late George Floyd seems a little bit offensive. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #BLM

I like this Starbucks. ...because I like all Starbucks; they have coffee. I won't b*tch about the dumb little parking lot at this store, because more than half of the Starbucks on earth have dumb little parking-lot issues. And I'm okay that there's no drive-thru at this store. Yesterday (DECEMBER 3rd 10:00-ish AM) I stopped in to load some $ onto my gold card. There were four employees working, but the line moved painfully slow. One employee was mopping behind the counter instead of helping customers, and two more were in the back of the store on breaks or something. One employee emerged from the back and stepped into the behind-the-counter work area W I T H N O M A S K O N - quickly wiped her nose with her right hand (I swear I'm not making this up) then put a blue disposable mask on, and put on latex gloves W I T H O U T W A S H I N G H E R H A N D S then proceeded to start helping customers. Then a second employee emerged from the back ALSO with no mask, then put on a mask and began helping customers. I did not see whether they washed their hands or not. Now I am NOT a germaphobe. Seriously, I'm not. And, had this taken place two years ago in a pre-COVID-19 time, I probably wouldn't have even NOTICED this employee's actions, much less cared. But this was over-the-top blatant disregard for the mandated COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS. The employee who wiped her nose is small, petite, has shorter dark hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, round-framed glasses and was wearing (Dec 3) a Blackwatch plaid shirt. There was another employee who would fit the same description except she was the one mopping the floor. The ONLY reason I stayed after witnessing this employee's behavior is that I was not purchasing food or coffee; I was only loading money onto my card. (I was helped by an older blonde woman with a ponytail who wasn't overly friendly, but was okay). I want to say I'll still return to this Starbucks again, but due to the fact that it SEEMS like all of the staff removes their PPE to take breaks in the back... the BACK - you know, the room where all the coffee cups, plates, utensils, wrapped food and coffee are stored - I probably won't. Yeah, no. Sorry Starbucks, that's a hard NOPE. I'll continue to frequent my Starbucks on 7th & Keystone as everyone at that location is BEYOND incredibly nice and they all seem to take COVID-19 precautions very seriously. p.s. earlier in the week I actually did order a coffee drink here - a triple shot latte. I get one of these nearly every day at other Starbucks locations so I know what the triple-shot tastes like. My latte had only two shots. And that really sucks when you're poor and the extra shot is expensive. booo

I love this location, super awesome and friendly staff! I get, not the most common order a "shaken espresso", but they always make sure its perfect for me. When ever I have the opportunity to grab a hand crafted beverage, I always go to this store. The incredible atmosphere that Bettina, Thomas, Emily, Mo, Torrance and others create, is a memorable experience that keeps me wanting to come back as often as possible.

I love watching the people and cars go by in Midtown while enjoying a great meal. We started with drinks. I ordered the Limoncello Spritz, and wow--it was absolutely out of this world! My husband ordered the Chardonnay, and owner Claudio explained that it's made in the traditional Italian style. Instead of being buttery like many California Chardonnays, it's slightly sweeter and very smooth. After trying my cocktail, my husband decided to order a Limoncello Spritz too, and he ended up enjoying it even more than the wine. We skipped the appetizers and salads and went straight to the main event. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, which I had been dreaming about all day. It was light, delicate, and packed with incredible flavor. My husband, who is from New Zealand, chose the lamb chops. They were cooked to perfection, so tender you could cut them with a butter knife. He paired them with the asparagus risotto, which was delicious but a little heavy alongside the lamb. We ended up taking some home, and next time I'd recommend pairing the lamb with a salad instead. To finish, we shared the large ricotta cannoli topped with chocolate chips. It was heavenly, light, creamy, and it practically melted in our mouths. Honestly, every dessert we've had here has been fantastic. Dolce Caffè continues to impress with its authentic Italian flavors, warm hospitality, and wonderful atmosphere.
