I'm on my way to a funeral and I stopped in at the Starbucks for a quick pick me up before heading across the street. I walk in and ordered and I heard a familiar voice and I turned around & it's Dee from yelp. She was there with her Friend and by the time I left she had seen a couple more people she knew. I love that about our community, it's growing all the time but still has that hometown vibe about it. The gentleman who took my order was super friendly. I ordered a chocolate croissant heated and a chai tea hot latte. He told me they have new chai - uh oh. I said, I like mine with the cinnamon dolce syrup. He said do you want to try all three in your latte, new, classic and dolce. I said "sure". My latte was quite tasty! However, the women at the drive thru did not like her ice chai and they had to remake it with the classic. Sometimes it's not good to change what people are use to and expecting unless that person is adventurous and open to new flavors. I'm glad stopped here and look forward to my next chai latte. read more

Super friendly folks at this Starbucks. I wish this statement held true for every location, but that's just not the case. My best friend and I have been meeting here for our mid week catch up on life sessions in between shuttling kids to school, on the way to the gym or a post workout protein box and a caffeine pick me up. I have to be basic and have one cup of psl and gave in and tried the pecan crunch because I wanted to eat cake. It didn't disappoint and I didn't have to pay extra for oatmilk. This location has tables outside and a few indoors. I recall they had more tables inside at one time. Thank you to the sweet younger guy that is always patient with our indecisiveness if we don't pre-order on the app before arriving; you're a real mvp. One of my favorite Starbucks to go to! This location is always fast and efficient. I only have been through the drive thru and never inside at this store. If there is a line, the wait isnt too long. I always get my usual (salted caramel cream cold brew) and it has been consistent and never different. I have been to this store at least 15 different times and have yet to encounter any issues. Today, Chase, assisted me at the window and he greeted me with a smile and provided friendly service. I also decided to get a Lemon Loaf which are always amazing. Came here to grab a drink for my husband and I, we were never acknowledged by any of the baristas. We stood at the register waiting to be assisted as one of the baristas passed in front of us behind the counter twice and never acknowledged us. We didn't expected to be assisted immediately, but just the fact that we weren't acknowledged was frustrating. A simple "we'll be right with you" would've sufficed so at least we knew somebody saw us. We ended up leaving without getting our drinks. read more

We decided to stop and get some coffee on the way to the lake. It's Monday afternoon and we don't normally go to the lake, however the power company is working on the transformers and so we have no power. Kids are going to do their studying at the lake. There was about 15 cars in line, now that we can't go inside, we have to compensate for long lines in the drive-through. The light went fairly fast. The girl who took our order was polite as usual as well as repeated my order back to me perfectly. That's one thing that's nice about Starbucks, they never make you feel bad for having long more specialized requirements for your coffee. But yes, you do pay for it. One thing that irritates me is the price has gone up since last time I was here. And this time of economic crisis, Starbucks it's not reducing the stress by providing a little discount on their overpriced drinks. They actually have increased. $5.90 for a Vente mocha with caramel. My usual order is a Vente mocha, extra hot, no whip cream or foam, add caramel syrup. Today the flavor was good, however it was not extra hot. The line was just too Long for me to go back and have this fixed. So, next time I am reminded to test it before I leave the drive up window. Previous review: I had this review sitting in my yelp and forgot to publish it so I included it. Today was 3 Star, With the previous one star average is two star. Going through drive-through today. The girl on the microphone was very polite and friendly sounding. There was one car ahead of me. The wait was extremely long. I have no idea why. I sat behind the car at the window, and the car behind me stuck for over 10 minutes. When the person came to the window to give the guy in front of me his order, there were two drinks. There were three girls inside talking, and I could only see one customer. I had to wait about seven minutes for my coffee. I decided to take a picture of the lobby to show there was no one in it, when the manager came up and told me I was not allowed to take pictures. I let her know that I did not take a picture of any people, as well as I would never put someone's picture on Yelp without their permission. She seemed quite distressed, maybe she had a feeling that the review was not going to go well... Who knows? It seems kind of ridiculous to wait in line for nearly 20 minutes for one coffee. So yeah, I'll give this place another shot sometime and see if it's consistent or not but as for now... Might want to avoid this place seeing that the workers prefer to talk over customer service... read more

One of the few Starbucks I enjoy. Like most, the music is way too loud, and it's usually some genre of music that isn't calming or relaxing. Corporate - have you thought of just playing chill music or instrumentals? Or recommending this music to your franchises? Ppl go to Starbucks to converse or study, not to dance. Also - it seems they only hire females at this location. It's a common hiring bias throughout society, though, at the entry level... It's a well lit store though, and it's clean. This was one of the best drive thru Starbucks locations that I've been to in a long time. It's perplexing that there were so many negative reviews that I read when I was in search of a local to me Starbucks. Not seeing any other locations to try, I put on a brave face and attempted to go through the drive-thru. Admittedly, it's a rather odd configuration due to space limitations, but truly if that's really the only issue, it should not be an issue. I found the customer service to be five star plus, and who could ask for more?! I was greeted through the speaker box by Brittany, who by all accounts was not only super sweet, but very helpful when I asked a couple of questions about a new drink that I wanted to try. When I arrived at the window and flashed my phone app, Brittany smiled, asked me how my day was going, and if there was anything else that I would like to add to my order. She did an excellent job of promoting products which I've never had happened to me at a window before. I really appreciated it. She even went out of her way to show me a couple of the new tumblers that they had just received. Then to top it off, she very politely reminded me that if I wanted to use any of my stars for my purchase I could do so. Great customer service! My drink was totally on point! And when I'm back in the area, this absolutely will be my go to place. read more

Loved this little Starbucks up in Sparks, it was a beautiful little Starbucks. Clean, lovely staff and a beautiful murals that I must admit won me over this place. This used to be one of my favorite Starbucks but since the construction of Pyramid and McCarren it is a BEAR to get in and out of. Depending on the time of day it is possible to get in and out quickly even with construction. The manager and the Barista's are super sweet and if there is ever an issue they will offer to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you ordered. I have been coming to this Starbucks for years. Are mistakes occasionally made? Yes, but that's true for any job. They have always corrected any error that I have found to my satisfaction. What more could you ask for . I use to know the barista's names here but since the construction. I don't. I almost always use the drive thru. read more

We absolutely love Starbucks but I think that after Saturday we will probably never go back to this location. Wife special needs daughter and I all tried to order online. Daughter got her order in but both wife and I couldn't get our orders to go in. Online said they were out of wife's frappuccino and my cold brew. Out of cold brew???? So we decided to go in the store. We were in the store 15 minutes and they only waited on 2 people. So we decided to leave. Daughter was just about to get her order so wife and I got out of line and we stepped out the door to wait for her. She got her order (which wasn't even close to what she ordered) and met us in the truck. When she got in I could smell coffee. Whatever they gave her was a hot coffee based drink but service was sooooo bad we decided to not go back in. $5.90 for something she would never drink. I love that they have so many healthy options that you can get fast (egg white wrap, protein boxes, etc). I go to this Starbucks frequently, usually always pleasant. However, this time around I go there to get lunch. Ate the pb&j sandwhich and cheese stick then I noticed the cucumbers. They were covered in mold. The best by date was 5/10 and it seems that they weren't checking their food case. The drive thru guy was in a rush and it was pretty busy. But, I do pay to have food that's fit for consumption, and this is just concerning. It worries me that they aren't cleaning the machines that brew the coffee properly either. My husband and i like to use the restroom before our long drive back , and we always spend 20-30$ each time . Well they Told my husband that he could not use the restroom that it was already closed . They were still open for another hour and bathroom was fully functional . I understand a-lot to do when closing but it was not busy at all and it don't take long to re wipe down a few stalls. I just posted a long review about how crappy the store environment is here because they play their music too loud, all the time. But despite being told that the post went live, it doesn't seem to have actually happened. Here's the gist. The employees blast the music to be heard behind the counter, not to create a nice ambiance for the customers. The speakers are situated as far as can possibly be placed from the counter in the lobby. Customers have to pretty much yell to hear one another over the loud music. Behind the counter you have all different kinds of machines running, from grinders and espresso machines to the constant hum of refrigerators and convection ovens. So in order to make sure they're able to enjoy the music behind the counter, they absolutely have to crank that shit up. Meanwhile the customers are left stuck in a lobby that's so overpowered by the "ambiance" that it's difficult for them to have a conversation, never mind try to think to read or work on something. It's crazy loud. I've just watched 3 independent sets of customers comment on how loud it was and immediately leave, saying "let's find someplace quieter." No joke. I have noise canceling earbuds in and it's STILL overpowering. I can't comprehend the mentality involved in forcing customers to endure this so they can have music behind the counter. Why doesn't Starbucks do the obvious thing and install speakers behind the counter so employees can enjoy the music without having to crank it to be heard over all their machines from clear across the other side of the lobby? It's ridiculous. One star. I'd give this location no stars if that were possible. I can ask for a coffee and get a cup of slime and I'll be perfectly happy with it if I can enjoy hanging out in the lobby for a while working on various projects. It's absolutely not possible here, even with high quality Sony noise canceling earbuds. read more

I love Starbucks coffee and not all the stores are the same. This location is nice because it does have a drive thru window if you just want to get it on the run. Inside is pretty clean and kept up. Not very big but there are outdoor tables if you want to sit outside. I always ask for my drink extra hot and for some reason this location never has been able to do that for me. The parking lot is not very big and is usually crowded since they do share it with other businesses. I usually park in the Raleys lot and walk over read more

Got scolded by a barista at your Starbucks today. I hit Starbucks at Greg and McCarren about 3 mornings per week. Ordered an iced latte in the drive-thru. She then asked me if that was hot, and I said, no, iced. She then said, oh yeah, sorry about that, I knew that. (Was also on the speakerphone with my mom at the time who heard this entire conversation). Then as I drove up to get my order they gave it to me hot where I said, I had asked for it to be iced, twice actually. They had another gal bring me my iced drink and she told me that I need to make sure I order iced if I want it iced and to be specific and then she said they all have headsets on and nobody heard me say iced! No more Starbucks on Greg and McCarren for me. Spending that much on coffee to be scolded unnecessarily only needs to happen once for me to learn that lesson. read more

I don't particularly like this location's parking situation, so we rarely come here. I ordered two grande Gold Coast coffees and two blue berry scones. After the first coffee was poured the barista informed me that they only had enough for one of the drinks and if I wanted to wait for another pot or choose a different flavor. I opted for the veranda blend and the barista gives me an embarrassed look to indicate they were still brewing it. I wound up getting pikes place, not my favorite, but it will do. The poor barista then informs me that they only have one blue berry scone left, so I opted for a chocolate croissant. A short time later the manager calls my name to pick up the sweet treats and to my surprise she offered me a gift card for $4 off my next visit for the trouble I had with my order. A nice store with about a dozen or so "high" seats, about 6 tables-for-two, but only a couple "sofa seats". It's not close, so would rather go to the more convenient location up at Wingfield Springs, but I'd go back under the same circumstances. read more

I come into this Starbucks a couple times a week on my way to work, and always order the same thing. Since all Starbucks make exactly the same thing, I could go to a different one (in fact that would actually be more convenient), but I come to this one because of the top notch service and atmospher. Chaise (sorry if I misspelled his name), is always super friendly and remembers my drink- tall hot chai tea latte with light water and whole milk. I've noticed he does this with other customers too. It's a little thing, but it's enough to make this Starbucks in particular stand out compared to the others. Let's face it, if you are looking at the menu or decorations all Starbucks are the same, so it's weird to have one that's such a positive outlier. If you want to add a nice personalized touch to your normal Starbucks order, it's worth taking a couple minutes extra to go to the one on Pyramid. read more

On top of being a big coffee guy in general, having worked at Starbucks for several years makes me able to see all the good and the bad when it comes to a visit to Starbucks. I know that on any given day you could have a different experience at Starbucks, but this location in particular is always consistent on being great in. I often mobile order as it's perfect on my way to work, and my drink has never not been ready when I got there. I am always greeted at the door, and have really great customer service. I've noticed a trend in recent years of barista's being less friendly and not often greeting you... And until I was on the other side of the counter, I never realized how much better of an experience it is when you're acknowledged right away. There is a younger guy that works mornings, wish I knew his name, but he always is super friendly and on top of it. This locations consistency and drinks is always spot on as well, don't feel like my drink has been cut corners like some other locations.
