The store and staff are very nice. The vibe is nice. Music is good and can be heard without interrupting people talking at the same table. About the 10th time I have been here. The store is always clean and good WiFi. Pretty good indoor seating. This location has a busy To Go customer population. The two baristas running the store right now are doing great! Happy, friendly, focused, and quick. The location is next to a noisy street so sitting outside in the plentiful seating in that side is hard. Also sun beats down with little shade there as well.

I like to stay in touch with friends by meeting up for coffee. Lately, I've been meeting with a buddy who lives in Livermore at this particular Starbucks located in Pleasanton. This is a newer Starbucks which borders Livermore. It's located at the corner of Stanley and Valley where this property was once a field. Now there are some shops and condos built at this location. The staff is very friendly and service is great. No interior seating due to Covid-19 restrictions but the parking lot is large enough for a coffee meetup tailgate.

I've never been in such a dark restroom. It's a little creepy.

Hmmmm...I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative about this specific Starbucks. I come here occasionally while I wait for my oldest daughter when she's in her Kajukenbo class that's nearby. The barista/cashier that helped me today was very personable and nice. I think that he was the supervisor/manager because I heard him tell one of the other workers to take their break. He greeted me and made sure that my order was correct ie. repeated my order. Normally, the baristas never repeat my order even though I customize most of my drink orders. Today, nearly every table/chair was occupied; but, my youngest and I found a table with two chairs and sat for a few minutes. I wish that I got his name; but, he was very nice and smiled the entire time. Yes, I got my drink very quickly too. It was a grande this time (normally, I order venti or trenta); but, very strong. Yippee!

The drinks are as high-quality and delicious as they are beautiful. Beyond the amazing drinks, the hospitality here is top-tier. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which makes the whole vibe of the shop so inviting. Plus, the aesthetic inside is stunning and makes for the perfect backdrop. This place easily earns a 5/5. Incredible drinks, great energy, and flawless service. I will definitely be a regular here!

I'm gonna be honest, I had their matcha from their OG store in Westwood when they were called Sip! I always thought their matcha was good, but I only got to enjoy it when I was going to school around there which was brief! Aside from now aging myself, I got the Guava Matcha from them and the employee recommended getting less sweet if I don't like overly sweet drinks. I have to say, it was perfect sweetness for me! The balance of matcha flavor and guava was 5/5. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm shopping in the area. It was satisfying and makes me crave their matcha!

I ordered a 16 oz (large) coffee, but was served a 12 oz. When it was brought to our table, I politely asked about the size since it looked smaller than what I usually get. The barista told me it was 12 oz and mentioned it might just be a different cup, then walked away without really addressing the concern. I checked my receipt and confirmed I was charged for a 16 oz. I went back to the counter and explained that I simply wanted the correct size. Initially, I was told I would need to pay more, which was frustrating. After explaining again, she finally offered to remake it. For clarity, the drink hadn't been touched at all--I returned it exactly as it was. I really like this place and will continue to support it, but I hope the team can improve on order accuracy and customer service, especially when concerns are raised politely. A little more attentiveness and willingness to resolve issues would go a long way.

I ordered the Lucky Charms White Mocha. It was tasty, but definitely a drink I wouldn't be able to order on the regular. I was able to set up my computer and one of the side rooms and get some work done. This place seems to be a very popular place for studying and doing some work. Just a great place in a great area. They have a large lot and there's also plenty of street parking in the area, especially during the day.

It's a great location, but you have to give them a bit of patience here. Pastries/breads/cookies/cakes all looks great and tastes good. Everything is fully stocked and plentiful in the mornings. After placing my order at the kiosk for a medium iced Tiger Boba Latte/milk beverage, I waited 15-20 minutes before getting my drink. I'm still glad it only costs me $4.90 for the cup and they haven't raised prices on beverages. It's the only beverage I purchased here for years. Decent and good tasting, more milky flavor, and not overly sweet. $4.90 is much better than $7 elsewhere. I wish they had more tables and chairs inside. When that happens, I have to give them kudos because at some places, the changes are so subtle they're almost meaningless. The drinks were OK, and they did the job on a a cold and rainy morning. As for the pastries, they were just OK. I've had better at other bakeries (and other branches of this same company), and with the plethora of options around for baked goods, you can find better. With that being said, it may just have been the couple of choices we had for food. The ube filled baked good was not very good, but I say that as an ube fiend. I have ube a lot, including back in the motherland. It was more like taro than ube, when it came to taste. As for the quantity, there wasn't a lot of it either. The actually bread part was soft and nice, and it was pretty. The egg tarts weren't the best. They left something to be desired. I would suggest getting something else. Maybe we made the wrong choices this time at 85, because I've definitely had better baked goods at their other locations.

While the musubi are absolutely amazing, and it is their namesake, the Mrs. And I really like the onigiri! It's surprisingly hard to find truly good onigiri here in the US that lives up to the quality of the ones you'd get in Japan. Leonard, the owner clearly puts a ton of effort into each. He's definitely perfected his craft. The Mrs. and I have ordered from here casually many times before on our days off. We've tried the tuna, mentaiko, and ume. Mentaiko is my personal fave. The tuna is excellent too, and the ume has a classic salty-tangy flavor that's unique and refreshing. It's a great option for vegetarians as well. Recently, we ordered from Leonard to have onigiri catered for our daughter's birthday party. We got those 3 flavors. Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself! This place is seriously a hidden gem in the East Bay. Definitely stop by, try the musubi and onigiri, and say hi to Leonard, who is genuinely one of the nicest people/owners you'll meet.
