Beautiful Starbucks location with lively atmosphere and friendly staff. I visited this Starbucks last month for my birthday and staff member Sunny greeted me even told me happy birthday with a smile on her face which truly made my day. I got the banana nut matcha which was truly great. Visited this location again this month for my husband's birthday and they were very kind. My husband got the food item for his birthday. He also got the lavender chai but unfortunately was not great and after telling them to remake it again but less sweet they did remake it but again it was not our favorite. I provided this feedback to Starbucks greeter Tiffany and she mentioned as Starbucks has recently changed their chai recipe this is great feedback to provide to corporate. I instead got the banana nut matcha again which was again truly great. I highly recommend this Starbucks location as again staff is extremely friendly and provides great care for the customers. read more

Every Christmas holiday season, I stop by Starbucks to get a Gingerbread Chai Tea Latte. It's my favorite out of all the chai teas. I was doing a little window shopping and stopped at this location. Nice spot to grab coffee or try one of the exclusive Starbucks Reserve drinks. I stopped by while shopping in the Legacy West plaza and got a dark chocolate mocha (with one less shot of syrup) which was a great pick me up. I went on a Thursday morning and there was plenty of people sitting and working from the place. There is a good amount of seating both inside and outside this store and it's quite comfortable to work or chill here for a bit. read more

Wow, I placed mobile order but what a busy location, everyone was sat in socialising, enjoying their coffees. This is only one of two Reserve locations in DFW, the other in Dallas. I've been to the roasterys locations before, and enjoyed the Hazelnut Bianco Latte, so I was happy to find it at this location and it came in the black cups as well! Excellent Starbucks. I'm a Starbucks fan anyways, but all the baristas here knew their stuff. My bf was able to get a Peruvian pour over that smelled heavenly and I was able to get a special blend espresso that was so rich with caramel notes. Truly delicious coffee, really nice interior and the staff stood out to me. All Starbucks tend to have well trained employees but everyone here either loves their job or just are kind and knowledgeable in general. Overall a Starbucks is a Starbucks, they only differ based on staff courtesy, how clean the location is and the seating arrangement. This one however seem to have got them all right (yes you do find a blah blah employee every now and then, but we are all humans, right?! :) ) The decor is modern, and the place is always clean. Situated in the middle of the all new shops of legacy-west, it's always fun to get your coffee and have a walk outside, where there are many cools shops and restaurants- a bit of California style. It's a reserve Starbucks. So supposedly the coffee is better. However, as a coffee lover, I still believe that any Starbucks coffee is OK at very best. read more

It's always clean and it's a starbucks Reserve (which I have yet to try) so you have a lot more options than your ordinary Starbucks stores. I was brought here by friends who informed me that Starbucks Reserve coffee has drinks you can't get at normal Starbucks locations. The outside is clean, and the cafe is situated in the midst of a busy and modern shopping center. The interior is clean, modern, and incorporates a little of the art deco aesthetic. There is ample seating, so if you're coming to study (alone at least) there will probably be an open seat for you. The barista assisting us was knowledgeable and answered our questions about the unique offerings. I prefer my coffee iced and my drinks sweet. At the suggestion of our barista, I ordered the Iced Hazelnut Bianco Latte. It was sweet, satisfying, and an enjoyable new flavor. I couldn't taste a discernable difference between my drink and iced lattes at other Starbucks. Then again, I'm not exactly a coffee connoisseur, so take what I say with a grain of salt if you're seeking out new coffee options! read more

Oh Starbucks Reserve, you have my heart!! From the cutest coffee bar to those oh so fancy BLACK cups (do I have to order something that is not a "tall" to get one of those?!? I know some of my fellow Yelpers know the answer to that question) you made my morning oh so bougee and delightful. Guys if you work remotely come here and grab a spot to get your work on. You won't regret it. OR...simply just come here on a laid back day with a good buddy and then enjoy the lively atmosphere! I was looking for a coffee place in the area after my earrrrly workout and I've actually been here but was in and out and didn't notice it was a "reserve" location til this morning. It was busy and bustling inside and I ordered my usual go to, which is an almond milk latte extra hot and everything bagel. My bagel was toasty and hot and so was my latte. Some places do not get the foam on the almond milk right for me but this was just perfect. First world problem, I know. Anyways thanks for providing me my after workout morning boost before my busy work day. I will be back to check out the other fanciness you guys have in store. One word to describe the look of this Starbucks Reserve and my first encounter with a customer leaving it after I had held the door open for him: pretentious. The Starbucks Reserve is located in the heart of Legacy West. The neighbourhood is equivalent to Yorkville in Toronto. You have a pretty neighbourhood with upscale stores mixed in with a few that you can afford to buy something in, like this cafe. I walked over and opened the door. A guy walked through the door as if I were his official door opener. It was probably one of the few negative experiences that I had during my visit to Dallas. I walked up to the counter. I saw that there were penguin cake pops. I love penguins. I love cake pops. Perfect! I went and ordered one. This cafe is a reserve, meaning that you get to sit at the bar and enjoy cool coffee brews filled in fancy glasses. It looked nice, but highly pretentious. There were folks sitting there, in their own little bubble, not talking to one another, sipping drinks, and looking down at their mobile devices or laptops. It was odd. I am used to going into a Starbucks where there is at least one conversation happening. The woman scanned my Starbucks bar off my phone and asked me to wait off to the side. Roughly five minutes later, she came up to me and we had this conversation: "We don't have any of the penguin cake pops," she said. "What about the three in the display case?" I asked. "They are just for display. There is no refrigeration," she admitted. "I'd recommend that you take the penguin display down," I recommended. I got no answer from her that she would. Interesting. "I can offer a different flavour... birthday cake," she said. There wasn't an inflection in her voice to ask whether I wanted the birthday cake flavour. It's awfully presumptuous to assume that I would like birthday cake. Frankly, she chose so horribly wrong here. "Let me think. What flavours do you have left?" I replied. "Birthday cake and cookie dough," she replied. "I'll take the cookie dough," I replied. Perhaps two minutes later, I got my cake pop in a paper bag. It was sweet. It was okay. I would have preferred the penguin. I hoped that it would taste like chocolate, which would have been my preferred cake pop flavour. This Starbucks reserve is large inside. There is also a patio area outside. It was a fairly warm day for January, so there weren't too many free seats anywhere. I love Starbucks. I didn't feel comfortable here, though. The customer who was full of himself and the barista who simply assumed that I would take whatever cake pop flavour she offered without letting me know what flavours were left put a damper on my experience here. Full disclaimer, I honestly don't like the taste of coffee, and I'm more of a Frappuccino/sugary drinks kind of guy. However, this Starbucks Reserve helps elevate Starbucks to the next level and helped me gain a better appreciation for the taste of coffee. My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this Starbucks Reserve on a Saturday evening after checking out Legacy Hall. We were kindly greeted by the staff and the interior is very homey and comforting. It's a great place to read a book in the afternoon or just to chat. Be sure to check out the special Starbucks Reserve menu because there are a lot of unique options. We ended up going with the Hazelnut Bianco Latte (always get Venti), which is a signature Reserve drink. Be sure to get it iced because it comes with a cool Reserve cup. The Latte was not too sweet and had a very rich and nutty flavor. It was very smooth and helped wake us up at night. We'll definitely come back here because there is a coffee master who walks you through the elegant process of brewing a fresh cup of coffee. Fabulous experience, location and wonderful place for a meeting or conversation. I am now spoiled by Starbuck's Reserve and completely understand what the buzz over this location is about. I can't wait to return on my next visit to Dallas. It was pretty crowded the night we visited, but still plenty of seating available and the patrons were so polite here, one customer even brought over a chair for one of the ladies on our group. Beautiful Starbucks location with really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It's always pretty busy here, even during some odd hours so don't expect to easily be able to find a seat or table unless you're by yourself. I like the outdoor seating in particular if it's a nice day outside. The first time I came here I got the nitro cold brew and my friend got the hazelnut bianco latte. The nitro cold brew was fantastic and surprisingly not too bitter. It was very smooth and had a strong flavor. The hazelnut bianco latte was about as sweet as an average Starbucks latte but had an overwhelming nutty flavor which I wasn't a huge fan of. The affogato is delicious here and definitely worth a try if you're feeling something more dessert-y. Just be careful not to push the ice cream down too fast!! My girlfriend and I made that mistake one time and the espresso sprayed everywhere. The cloud caramel macchiato was foamy and delicious, and was also pretty to take a picture of. Ordered my Cortado and got something called a Qartado Doppio RSV Macchto. All I wanted was 2oz of espresso and 2oz of steamed milk no foam. I did want to try the hazelnut Bianco latte but they don't do substations and it already comes pre-made with dairy milk which I don't drink. I only went to Starbucks because I was given a Starbucks card for Christmas. I did get the pistachio latte which I found underwhelming Outside of a nicer and cleaner location and the few extra menu items there is no difference between a regular Starbucks and a Starbucks reserve. So if you like Starbucks you will like this place if you're like me who doesn't care much for Starbucks you won't have your opinion changed. read more

It seems to always be busy here and can be hard to find seats but never the less it is the nearest Starbucks reserve other than dallas so be prepared to not get a seat inside. It's very clean and pretty inside. Looks luxurious compared to the regular starbucks. I mean if your gonna pay twice the cost of a regular starbucks.. it makes sense. I really liked the affogato (espresso with icecream) but it was definitely pretty pricy. I got the hazelnut starbucks reserve drink and a cold brew nitro and both werent bad but I was so flustered to order since there was a line I forgot to customize the drink so that I would've liked it haha. The hazelnut one was a bit too nutty for my taste so I would probably not order that next time. At least it came in a pretty cup! NOV 20, 2020 In the Legacy West shopping district of Plano, Texas, Starbucks planted one of their Reserve stores. Victoria's Secret is next door, COACH is across the street, LuLuLemon on the next block... lots of nice stores, restaurants, and studios here. This Starbucks Reserve is right in stride with a special menu of offerings, and the standards. It's not the biggest Starbucks I've seen. Despite the cost here, they could have Went Bigger! Lobby is open for Takeout only now. Facemask is Mandatory per Texas State orders. I arrived, and entered solo, like Indiana Jones entering an ancient temple, holding a torch. The high priests looked at me, they were dressed like baristas. I digress... as I made my order, a tour bus must have pulled up. I counted 15 new customers swarming behind me. Hmmm... I moved over to the empty side for social distance. I took some pics while waiting for my food & java. Got outside, most of the outdoor seating was taken. Two empty benches at the passage to the parking garage called to me. Spacing enough, I could eat. Ahhh! Speaking of... FREE parking in the Legacy West multi-level structures. Yes, Free! As you drive south from Headquarters Drive on the service road for North Dallas Parkway, there are 3 entrance / exits for the tall parking garages with 4, 5, or 6 levels. Each entrance has an electric sign showing how many open spaces are on each level. But sometimes, the Free Valets defeat this system. Word to the wise. Driving on Windrose Avenue, the parking entrances are from Winthorp St, Worth St, and the unnamed street by LuLuLemon. TIP: park close to Elevator #5, it drops right down to Starbucks Reserve! I've waited a long time to get my hands on a black cup from Reserve. Besides, being the only coffee shop at Legacy West (as of now that I know) I was not too impressed with the offers. Yes it's different. A huge plus is the open concept and plush seats. In all fairness, I didn't come for the fancy nitros, affogatos, and such. I will hold comments for those at a later date. I like the idea that with most other Starbucks they will do a pour over for any other roast if Pike is not your thing. I quickly learned that a pour over is the same price as a clover brew. I do not believe the long line justifies the product. I'd rather go to another local small business shop or a plain ole Starbucks. I look forward to trying the fancy stuff, but I'm not to pressed to get it from here. I would describe the ordering process as a growing pain and a deviation from what a veteran Starbucks customer would expect. I noticed LOTS of confusion from customers on when they would receive the eating treats. The treats should have been given at the register but instead customers expected the treat to be presented with the drink order. I gather that the value added was that your name is called and then the staff member would bring your order to you. However the wait was long enough that most patrons were waiting at the bar to pick up their order instead of relaxing for the service. This may have been a holiday weekend crowd experience but again it's not something I'm looking forward to going through in the near future. read more

After we ordered we sat near the reserve bar and waited for our coffee. Really cool experience just watching how everything worked. I loved seeing the buzz of everyone working and smiling. This location has decided to limit its "Reserve Hours" in order to prolong the Reserve ingredient supply ahead of their format flip at the end of the month. We weren't allowed to order off the Reserve menu when we arrived in the middle of the afternoon. The Reserve menu is the only reason I come to this location as it's always packed and noisy (understandably because it's located in a very walkable retail area.) Way overhyped. I do not recommend. Service The person at the register was not helpful and didn't seem to know enough about the unique aspects of Reserve locations. She said they are pretty much the same as normal locations and made bad recommendations. The person working the drinks was happy to get my drink remade. Beverage First attempt, my drink came out cold and all I tasted was milk. Second attempt, my drink came out hot but all I could taste was milk. I reluctantly kept my 2nd drink. For comparison: I've been to the Reserve locations in Dallas, San Francisco, and Chicago and all of them were way better than this location. Chicago was by far the best but Dallas and San Fran could at least make good drinks and recommendations. Environment I went in the morning and the music was way too loud. I was curious to find out how different the reserve is from a regular Starbucks. Most noticeable difference is the inside, the amount of space and interior sets it apart. Also, their unique ways of making their coffee.
