Its so disappointing when this location runs out of seasonal items. They are already only available for a limited amount of time. I barely go to Starbucks so when I do, I always get a seasonal treat. About a week ago, I tried the pecan cortada crunch. I loved it! I told all my coworkers about it and have been getting it since. Sucks I had to settle for a cappuccino. Luckily, this location is near my job and not my house. The one near my house seems to stay stocked in their inventory. The person in the front counter does not listen on how customer want their drinks made. I've given this place multiple chances, but it's always the same story. These Liberal baristas here are incredibly lazy and half the time they don't even have most of the menu available. And it's not because they're "out of stock" -- it's obvious they just don't feel like making anything beyond the most basic drinks. Service is completely horrible here!! Takes 20 or minutes to get a drink in the weekends. Today I placed a Mobile order and I show up and says cafe is closed I couldn't even get my order . I have wait in a huge line in drive through just to get my order I have been in line over 10 minutes and have 6 cars in front of me!! TURN YOUR MOBILE ORDERING OFF if you can't handle the flow !! No one placing a mobile order should have to wait in the drive through for an order they placed over 20 minutes ago. Then wait another 20 minutes to get it in the drive through . I get to the monitor and young lady asked for my order and I said I had a mobile order asked for the name and then I said that they should turn off mobile ordering ! Then I assume it was someone who was in charge says that turning off mobile ordering is not in his control and that he had four people called out today and I feel bad that happened and know the feeling all to well but this is HORRIBLE when a staff does know how disable a system that was causing a back of cars because there is not enough staff!! Mobile ordering is a great thing when you have the staff to handle the flow . 40mins to from the time I placed order to the time I was able to get through the drive through to get it . I'm never coming here again . I have a problem every time I come here always long wait times for drinks . I place an order in bridgewater and get to piscataway and still my drink isn't ready . This is the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. On 11/26/23, I waited over 35 minutes for two drinks. I asked 2 different employees about the 1 missing drink multiple times and they said they thought someone took the drink but I was in the waiting area the whole time and never saw it come out. When I finally got the drink, I tried to tell the employee what happened and she said "I just got here" and walked away from me. Terrible service. This isn't the only time they've been slow (usually about 10 minutes past the "expected ready" time on a mobile order). If you're mobile ordering, just do so way in advance. I quickly want to shoutout my favorite Starbucks Barista, the beautiful black girl Linda and the beautiful Caucasian girl with the dimples who wears glasses, sadly I don't remember her name. Every single time I come to Starbucks and see them, my day is made. These beautiful ladies have an infectious spirit about them that is super impressionable. A lot of the staff here are nice, but these two are Top Tier. I can imagine it's not an easy place to work at; but you ladies manage the stress well. Kindness rules the world. Surprising to see these really bad reviews since my first two visit here recently was a good experience. My first visit here a few days ago I wasn't sure what to order for a cold beverage since I am not really a coffee drinker, the lady who accident me was really nice to make a recommendation and didn't seem to rush me at her, she even complimented my shirt at the drive thru, I returned 2 days ago for the same beverage but seconds ago placing the order I switched it to try something else, as I pulled up the lady at the drive thru (different from the first with another lady) charged me for the 2nd order and offered me the original cold coffee for free since they had already made the first. The sweetest people work here, always so kind, sometimes drinks take a few minutes longer bc of the amount of orders they receive which isn't their fault and is the only Starbucks for about a 20 minute radius (besides on Rutgers campus which is often closed), the poor workers receive so much hate for things out of their control, attention people, estimated time doesn't equal exact time, if your coffee takes and extra 3 minutes it's not because the workers wanted to be slow. Happy Valentine's Day my fellow Adventurers! Stopped by this place between classes for my caffeine fix. So happy I did since coffee is coffee and Starbucks usually has a solid brew. The place is nicely set up with ample seating & parking unlike the one near me in Woodbridge, route 1 North. I HATE going to that location because of parking and just the overall atmosphere. I always find that patrons who go to this location are snobby and entitled. The Piscataway one is definitely better but obviously out of my way considering. Though to note that I usually get a Green Tea Chai Latte and no one seems to know how to make it anymore. I was ordering this for years and everyone knew exactly how and what it was, but unfortunately it's no longer the case. I did learn though that it's 2-3 pumps of chai and not just the one to actually taste it. Oh well! Great spot for my caffeine fix & breather from being on campus. read more

You would think paying $7-$9 for tea would come with a certain level service.... 3 times out of 10 my orders are incorrect when I visit in the evening. I go for the convenience of the drive through if I have time to kill but have a sleeping child with me, otherwise I support some of the local coffee shops because this place is horrible. This new location has been open for several months but the drive through service is the slowest I've seen. I have frequented the Chatham and green brook drive through locations dozens of times over the years, and I struggle to understand why I have to wait in line for upwards of 10 minutes when there are only a couple cars in line. Last night we were there shortly before 9:30pm and asked for a decaf. Due to the late hour we knew they wouldn't have any brewed but asked for a pour over. We were stunned to learn that they were already cleaning up (they close at 10) and therefore would not make us any. Update - 12/28/19. It's 5:09pm, they close at 10pm and they do not have any coffee brewing nor do they plan to! YOU. HAVE. 5. HOURS. TO. GO. Brew some coffee please! Not everyone wants an espresso drink! This Starbucks used to be fantastic at its old location across the street. Ever since it moved there, the hours are unpredictable and the service is slow. The drive thru lane is always backed up so I always go inside to pick up my mobile order. Today the doors were locked with a hand written sign that said cafe closed 12-7 (it's 2pm). I had to go back to drive thru and after waiting in line, I see an associate open the door for another customer. I get back out of line and go back to the cafe. Ordered a grande green mango tea lemonade with 2 pumps of raspberry syrup and 2 pumps of mango syrup for $3.69. Even though Starbucks is a bit pricy this is the one drink I wouldn't think twice to spend my money on. If you like a bit of sweet and tangy this is the drink for you . I normally just get 4 pumps of mango however was being adventurous today and to my surprise I found my new favorite drink . I will be ordering this drink again . This is the worst Starbucks known to man kind. If I can give negative stars I would do it without even blinking. The workers here are straight up lazy and they just stand around while my order takes 20 minutes to make. Please keep in mind that it's not even busy. I've asked for my mobile order when the girl started to take her phone and text and she looks for my order and goes "oh it's coming" -- coming where? You're standing there texting and the other workers are making drinks and food for themselves. It's just 1 girl out of 4 employees who was working. Whoever is the manager here you better check your cameras to see what's going on. I told myself I wouldn't come back to this location but I gave it another shot since my mom wanted Starbucks. I visited this location about 2 weeks ago. I was in a hurry and I am having an extremely tough time with morning sickness and with certain aromas/scents. I was in a huge rush and with my toddler. I was already feeling nauseous and did not want take my son out of the car seat to go inside so I decided to order at the drive-thru. It was busy and I was really excited about my hot cocoa. The lady that took my order was very pleasant and actually very talkative. When I got my order and placed it in my cup holder I knew something was wrong. But I was in a hurry and I drove off. The smell hit me hard!!! I started to feel really sick and when I tasted my "hot cocoa" it was pumpkin!!! It took a lot not to vomit everywhere. At this point I was feeling really sick!!! I couldn't handle the pumpkin smell! I was really late for my appointment but turned back because I was ANGRY that they gave me a drink that was incorrect and making me extremely sick! I went into the store with the drink and the girl knew exactly who I was. She was very cheery and laughing as she quickly said "oh, you were ordered the hot cocoa right?" To see her so cheery and unapologetic really sealed the deal for me. I wanted to talk to the manger but I was seriously late! She handed me the hot cocoa that was just sitting there and laughed it all off as she was telling her coworkers how she messed up my order. I didn't get a sorry, I didn't get a sincere "oh, we messed up let me make it to you" All I got was laughter. Well, that's the last $ you getting from me.
