Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

The service was quick, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It can get a little noisy during the day when the place is busy, but that's pretty normal for a popular coffee shop. Overall, a very nice spot with good coffee, lots of seating, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.

I couldn't recall if I liked the place or not, so I decided to swing by. The coffeeshop is a really nice size, and the décor, furniture, and seating arrangement were really good. Plenty of room for students, tired souls, or just about anyone. They seemed to like their Merch there, as it was everywhere. I ordered a simple Latte along with a Bacon & Egg sandwich. There weren't many people in there, maybe two, so I could sit and relax a while. It took a long time for my drink to get served, so was looking forward to tasting their coffee. This was a big letdown. The coffee itself was lukewarm and lacked any sort of rich flavor, as if there was barely any espresso in there at all. After an even longer wait, my sandwich was brought out, which sealed all my thoughts on the place. The sandwich was barely warm; there was a thick piece of cheese on there that wasn't even melted (I presume due to the lack of heat). I can't even remember if I finished either of the things I ordered, but I quickly packed up and left. This was the reason I didn't remember the place as its coffee and food are forgettable. It's a shame as the location, size, and décor all work well. I will not be returning.

My friend got the Croissant Scramble with brisket. The presentation of the croissants when brought to the table blew me away. It was wrapped up in the cutest paper with the ends twisted. The topic of conversation was how good the croissants were. Before we left, we ordered some delicious cookies. The chocolate chips were yummy. So I went the following day and grabbed some pastries! It is a tiny drive-thru coffee stand essentially, and if you are not paying the highest degree of attention, you will certainly miss your turn and having to loop around the nearby high school just to try to make your way. When I did manage to get through the drive-thru, I ordered one of their signature lattes, but since I can't even recall the flavor, that alone is telling that the coffee was not memorable. The only reason why I am taking the time to write a review is to mention their signature chocolate-covered coffee bean with each order. When I received my latte, it came with a white-chocolate covered coffee bean on top. I thought that was adorable!
