I needed a boost of energy at 8:45PM. I ordered a cold brew and didn't realize they closed at 9pm Opps! The barista was sweeping around us and putting chairs up, so we left. I get it they need to close by 9pm but typically they wait until 9pm to start cleaning. Place is at The Collection, it's always busy. There were a lot of high schoolers trying to order their drinks before closing time. I typically support local cafes but at this time, they're all closed. Not the best coffee but it does it's job.

Great Starbucks location right in the heart of The Collection. The building itself makes it one of the nicer Starbucks in the area, and my experiences have always been positive. I make it a point to place my order ahead through the app since it does tend to get quite busy being that this is a popular area for shopping and dining. My orders have always been on time and accurate, and the staff I have encountered were great. I will be back soon!

The cashier was so friendly. I didn't catch his name but honestly this location gets five stars for his friendliness alone. Also my boyfriend, who is British, really wishes they would do the tie-dye frappuccino in England. He loves them.

Early morning grind.

They offer a number of drinks & coffee, and pastries as well but I ordered their Bisco latte/cookie butter latte and this did not disappoint. I've never had anything like this before I loved how rich the Biscoff flavor was and they also add some kind of a special Hawaiian milk to it which I didn't mind but I also asked for this to be made in almond milk as well with no whipped cream. The moment I took a sip it was just Rich flavors bursting in my mouth. The only problem that I had with this place is that it's not closer to me, which is in the South Bay. Hint, hint I highly recommend.

I've visited both the Ventura and the Thousand Oaks locations, and my experience has been consistent. To me, this is a high-end Dunkin' Donuts and I don't even go there. The last time I had Dunkin' was about five years ago back home in Minnesota. I don't enjoy it because it tastes more like sugar with a splash of coffee rather than actual coffee and that's exactly how I feel about this place. I honestly don't understand why it's so popular. Most of the drinks taste extremely sweet. If you're looking for a sugary treat, a cheat-day drink, or something for your birthday, then this might be your spot. But if you genuinely enjoy coffee and want something balanced and bold, this probably isn't it. The only drinks I would personally order again are the cold brew or the Maui Mocha and even then, they're still on the sweeter side. One practical note: the Ventura location often has lines out the door. I'd recommend ordering online and picking up if you decide to try it. Overall, I'd say go try it for yourself but manage your expectations if you're a true coffee lover.

I'm excited to see what the owners decide to do with the business - and see how it evolves. I'd love to see it become more family friendly in the am and more adult in the pm. I'd love to bring kids during the day, but nervous with the wine bottles in the sitting area. It's a great shop!

I came on Sun. afternoon, and it was super quiet and chill. I got their unique Shakerato- a shaken espresso served in a sleek martini glass. The shakerato was so good and elegantly presented. Pastries are from Cafe Ficelle. The lead barista is of the school that takes pride in crafting each drink and not letting the machine automatically do all the work. The brother sister owners bring their culinary wine and beer experience to their cafe, but they invested into learning about coffee. Sips uses Beacon roasters who actually train cafe baristas on how to produce the best shots using their beans, so it's a true coffee collaboration. The cafe vibe is bright, airy and cozy. The owner was there and we chatted for awhile- he said they are ultimately happy to be a neighborhood local cafe- they're not trying to be Starbucks and be super high volume. They want to serve the East end of Ventura, which does not have a lot of mom/pop style cafes and restaurants.

I'm not the biggest fan of peanut butter, but when they put it on here? It's actually one of my favorite parts of the bowl. Prices weren't too bad, either. It's located in the Annex in the Collection, and they have their own little seating area nearby. If the weather is nice, though, I like to take it outside to eat. When it's busy at the collection, parking can be fuller, but you can always find a spot - you might just have to walk a bit. Good stop for açaí!

I tend to go with a classic açaí bowl and add peanut butter on it so I get a little of everything in every bite. It's a good size and keeps me full for hours. I recently tried the blue lemonade which was also very yummy. This is located inside the Annex at the Collection and is a perfect place to stop by for some food packed with energy to keep you going on those long summer days. The bowl is refreshing and makes me feel like I fueled my body with good healthy food unlike if I went to a fast food restaurant. There is seating inside the Annex or there are also places outside to eat if you want some sun. The vibes inside are always great since there are always people looking for a good bite to eat while shopping. I definitely recommend this to anyone in the area and I will continue to come back.

I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.

She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!
