To be honest, this is a nice starbucks. I come in here every once in a blue moon and when I do, I'm here because I'm doing some work with a friend, I'm on my way from Carlsbad to Vista or a meeting point for my friends and I when we go up to Disneyland/Universal Studios. I came here and was doing some work with a friend and when I got my table, I ordered my drink. I normally order a Peach Green Tea, but since the White Tea came out, I've been going with that. As I said, I normally get peach as my syrup but when I was there they had ran out of that flavor and the girl recommended I try the raspberry syrup. HOLY COW S-BUCKS! I love the consistency of Starbucks coffee, but not all Starbucks are consistent in their customer service. I would just like to take the time to acknowledge this Starbucks for their amazing employee Alyssa. My boyfriend and I came in this afternoon and she was the only barista in the front. There were already a few people ahead of us and she could have easily acted overwhelmed, but instead Alyssa was so sweet, patient, and kind. This Starbucks is phenomenal. Usually I don't even go to Starbucks anymore because I have had bad experiences in previous locations. But because of this one I have completely changed my mind. They are fast, very fast (I never stay in drive through line for more than about 3 minutes) and the service is the great. They are so cheerful, efficient and kind. Not to mention the coffee is always delicious and I am very picky. I wonder what their secret is? Overall coming here makes my day. read more

I tried to send a mobile app order to my typical place on Misson Ave spot early in the morning, but for some odd reason my order got kicked over to Vista Way. I called the Vista Way location immediately and I talked to a one guy there (forgot to ask his name) and he told me to show my mobile receipt to the Misson Ave Starbucks and they should honor it. Accidents happen. Well, I drove to the Mission Ave place and they were closed! So, I called the Vista location back and talked to a Ebony about the mobile app issue. She mentioned that she heard the Mission Ave Starbucks was closed, so the order got kicked over to the next closest Starbucks. Ebony said I could pick up my order and she would inform her manager, since her shift ended soon. I drove up to the Vista place and the manager was very helpful. She had no issues with the mix up mobile order. I have to give a shot out to this place. The entire Starbucks crew was accommodating, friendly, listened to my mobile app issue and found a solution to the problem with ease. Thank you so much for showing excellent customer service! I was here last weekend visiting (Feb 15, 2010 at around 530pm-630pm) my sister from San Jose. Usually, establishments like these are similar to other Starbucks so the business has to shine by other ways. I have to give this place a 3 star for the not so good service from the female at the cashier. I don't go to Starbucks that often and I am not too familiar with the sizes. Yes, it's another company store, but this one is actually decent. + For a small store in a standard-sized strip mall, there's plenty of tables to sit at. I'm looking at 6 small tables and a disabled table. There is also a full-on couch and 2 lounge chairs. Also plenty of seating outside. + Orders have been accurate, and they even put up with my cousin's incessant questions about everything. + Not too crowded. + Convenient to many many stores in the area. I absolutely love this Starbucks location. Their quality is always spot on and they always have great customer service. This has become my go to Starbucks. There's one closer to my house and I'll drive the extra because I know this location will make my order perfect every time! The only reason that it's not a 5 star review is that lately when they have a full drive through it seems to go pretty slow, it used to take less time to get in and out of the drive thru. Okay. I know. Why would a corporate chain deserve 5 stars? Well as far as the product goes, it's no different than the rest of the starbucks- consistent and surprisingly good for a company as ubiquitous as McDonalds. But 5 stars? Really daniel? The reason I love this starbucks is that it has personality. The workers there are the friendliest starbucks workers I have ever met. If something is wrong with your drink, they'll make sure to fix it. They make jokes with you about some of the weirder regulars (a really old lady who always wears halter tops and an old guy with an internet phone who has cats in his car that he leaves running for all the hours that he's there). This place is like my North County "cheers", where I always feel like I belong. and an extra plus is that the chairs are nice there. For some reason, they offer more lumbar support than other starbucks chairs. Don't know why. So, as somebody passionate about local businesses... I ordered off my app to this store. When I arrived my order wasn't ready yet although the app suggested it would be ready. When I inquired the employee was not amiable or personable. I didn't even get to finish my sentence about what I ordered and she left to grab a bistro box for me. I then waited by the barista for my drink order. After I left I noticed the bistro box I ordered had items completely frozen. I had what looked like icicles on my boiled egg. I've been visiting this location for years now, and it's a shame on me for not previously rated them in the past. I just surprised this location has A three star rating. In comparison to others I've visited in my area, and in close proximity (5 others); I would rate this location much higher due to the fact on their attentiveness, cordiality, and the welcoming atmosphere of the staff. Appreciate the kindness of each staff member. Truly a customer oriented location (than other locations). This is MY Starbucks! I've been going here since I was in 3rd grade with my mom getting my frappacinos, and now I go to get my Lattes and fancy shmancy drinks. I've become good friends with one of the guys who works there, Nikko, he makes the best drinks! I will go in and say "Nikko, I'm craving something sweet, fruity, or caramel-y" and he will whip me up exactly what I am craving. The entire staff, morning and evening, are the sweetest! Best baristas around the county! They have restated this location and redid the inside it's now the most popular place. Although I've gone here for years through out the good and bad. This past year actually couple of years have been great. Always greeting you getting to know you they will memorize your drink your name and treat your kids great. I asked for a simple caramel frap, and 2x they made me a pumpkin spice or just kept throwing Cinnamon spice in it. When i went back a third time i said just give me a caramel iced coffee because i was over having the staff mess up a simple order. They gave me an ice coffee after messing up my orders before hand, and guess what they didnt even refund me the difference, which i believe is 2$. A good place to enjoy a coffee after I had breakfast at the McDonald's next door. Saturday, May 26th, I ordered an Venti Chai (hot) and the barista accidently made me an iced venti chai. I showed her the receipt and she showed genuine embarrassment and gave it priority when being remade, despite there being a line. Once I got my drink, I was about to sit down, but the chairs and tables were sticky despite another employee having gone over everything with a wet rag. They need to use a decent multi-surface spray and a hot-wet cloth for each table so they don't spread it around. Next time, I'll just reverse my process and take my drink over to McDonald's to enjoy with my breakfast instead. read more

This location is one of the worst I have been to and I have been to a lot of Starbucks locations. Now I realize that we all have to be more understanding during COVID. I went to my regular drive through location which was closed. So I came to the Pacific Coast Plaza location instead. I entered the store and got in line. They had one person working the cash wrap. First of all she was having a lengthy conversation with a customer around her age-annoying but hey-it's COVID. There are 4 people in front of me and then a family came in and were behind me. Mind you, I was planning on doing drive through so there is a very strong likelihood I looked homeless. I finally after 15 minutes get up to the counter to order and I am greeted with a very brusque and dismissive "umm were you in line?" I was stunned. I said "excuse me"? And the barista said "I asked you if you were in line?" I answered of course I was in line. She then said "well I didn't notice you". Hmmm was it the fact that you were engrossed in conversation about Euphoria with the girl in a tank top and little else or the fact you assumed I was homeless and want to get a bit of an authority rush and try to embarrass me. All I can say is you chose the wrong person on the wrong day. I informed her that I absolutely was in line and placed my order. I then asked her for her name which she ignored. I asked her a second time for her name to which she replied"is there a problem". Nice. I told her I just want my order and her name. Now let me say there was a manager there and not a word. I thought I'd try this Starbucks because it was on the way to my destination, I arrived and there was a long line already. That's okay. When I went to pay I gave her my food card and told her I had a reward and wanted to use it. She took my gold reward card and my credit card to pay for the other drink and then gave me my credit card back. I asked for my gold card and she told me she threw it away.
