I love this location. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. I can't stand the drive thru location. I'd rather order on the mobile app and walk into this location knowing I will get the right order prepared properly without unnecessary wait. One of my lesser experiences at this location. The indoor seating area had not been cleaned recently and there cups and napkins left behind by albeit self centered but long gone customers. The clerk who rang my order was polite and efficient. The barista was slow as molasses and took longer than what I'm accustomed to make an iced coffee beverage. Major shout out to Tyler Brody and Melina for awesome service for Tyler fixing my drink and for the best sandwich in town the tomato mozzerella. I have diabetes and used to love the lemon loaf but I'm trying to watch my diet. I used to work at olive and their service wasn't as good as Tyler's. Before Tyler took over the bathroom was never clean and it didn't feel like a Starbucks. I love how he values his customers. Best Starbucks in Marin for sure. 10 stars. I go to this Starbucks about every 3 weeks, and I love it! I was so sad when the Gingerbread Chai Iced Drink stopped because it was seasonal. But I still love Starbucks. There yogurts are great and Mocha Frappuccino was da bomb. The service was great and the cashier was very nice. And I remember when I was at a Starbucks in Los Angeles asked for only one pump of of Mocha (they usually did 3) and they still gave me too much. Really clean whenever I come in. Never a huge line but I go in the evenings to get a hot chocolate before a softball game. Hits the spot and they are always happy to take my mug to put it in versus using a cup that it'll get cold super quick in. Restrooms are always very clean as well. This is probably one of the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. Although the parking lot and location are convenient, it just isn't worth the wait and the quality of the drinks sadly leave me disgruntled. There were 2 people in front of me in line but it took an unusual amount of time to place my order. Once I got to the counter, I tried to order nitro cold brew with cold foam. I had to repeat my order more than 3x before the barista understood what I wanted. Once I received my drink, it was made horribly. The cold foam didn't set/blend correctly which made my drink more like a latte. I also believe they were understaffed at the time. With only one person taking orders and prepping food while the other made drinks, it's no wonder that that the line had difficultly moving along. read more

This store has the Clover machine for reserve coffee so that's a reason to stop in. The drink-ordering is speedy and efficient while the drink-making is slightly less so. Noprobs as they have a good number of seats both indoor and outdoor. The convenience factor of being among other stores and within a shopping center is great. They are right off 101 at the Rowland Blvd exit and is pretty easy to find. The third Novato exit if going northbound; the second Novato exit if going southbound. read more

Employees expressed concern and I didn't wait to see if any action was taken. I am putting it on yelp bc I told them they should put "out of order" or do something before a tragedy strikes. When I need to find a good reliable place to get work done, Starbucks is always there to rescue me. After a quick trip for some Costco grubbin', my friend and I cruised over the shop in the local center. The first thing you notice is all of the people who brought their dogs and sit outside at the pet-friendly tables. Next, the inside is super homey and there's even a fireplace in the corner and couches along the wall. Nothing is over industrialized and they maintain the classic look of a Starbucks. I ordered the coffee Frappuccino with whip. Since it was kind of late in the day, I made it a decaf and even the contact high of other peoples' caffeine (or maybe it was the sugar) piped me up to power through the rest of the work day. This Starbucks is super busy so it's a good idea to come a bit earlier and nab a seat. It's literally packed the entire day but it's a great place to get stuff done and watch all the folks hang out with their pups outside. I definitely dig this location! The inconsistency in drink making is growing very frustrating for me. Today I ordered a vanilla latte but no vanilla or very little. By the time you leave get back in your car and discover the lack of vanilla flavor, I'm too far away to go back to correct it. I'll confess I'm not a huge Starbucks fan, but as Novato/North Marin options are limited in terms of coffee after 2 PM, we often end up here. And I'll also confess this is one of the worst Starbucks we've been to. They're either understaffed (OK, most of them are, or seem to be), confused, and/or the quality is not consistent. My iced tea is like iced water...what a ripoff. Not only that, but the place is usually dirty: crumbs/coffee stains on tables, floor is messy, garbage is overflowing. This location is pretty consistent with drink creation, which is great considering a lot of the locations I've been to in the East Bay being very inconsistent. They are situated in a popular plaza so this location can get pretty busy. Occasionally, wait times for drinks/pastries can be awful, but not enough to the point that I would steer clear of ordering here. Besides, if you're in a rush, you can easily order ahead of time via their app and it'll be ready for your pick-up as soon as you get there! That would be my best advice because it usually is busy most times of the day (there must not be that many Starbucks out here!) After dropping my car off at the shop, I needed a place to work remotely in the morning. Good thing for coffee shops with free WiFi... I hit a bit of the morning coffee rush, but service was efficient. The barista was so friendly and polite, it made a difference when placing an order. I sympathize with those who aren't morning folks, but when you've got a job to do, putting in a little effort to be courteous goes a long way. I ordered a sausage/cheddar/egg breakfast sammich and a tall white iced tea - both were ready in a timely manner and I could begin work without waiting on anything else. The employees do a good job keeping the place clean and are friendly when trying to sweep around customers. The bathrooms were clean as well, which I greatly appreciated. It not free-loader friendly. 4/9/17 A year after my last update and I'm still coming to this Starbucks. The location has updated its surroundings to a pleasing decor. This is still a very busy store. It's often hard to find a table. The Police officers still come by late night for their coffee breaks which gives the complex a safe feel. The students still study here and friends still meet on Sat mornings. This Starbucks is a fixture. This year the restrooms seem cleaner. read more

Today I drove over a massive bolt, got a flat tire, had to put on the spare, and drove to Costco to have it fixed. While I waited two hours I cancelled all the other things I had to do at this time, and I dealt with a banking issue where the bank mistakenly cancelled my check scanner account. One hour there, and back to Costco to find that there is another screw in another tire. So, I had to wait again, this time at Starbucks. As I tried to choose a type of tea to have the barista looked at me and said, "Are you having one of those days?" Flustered (I didn't know it showed), I told her a bit of my day. When she handed me the tea she said that it was on her, and that she hoped the rest of my day went smoother. My husband spends about 1 billion dollars annually at Starbucks. Now I know why. Oh my God I get it can be busy but I sat in there for 25 minutes literally after I ordered my drink and people after me complicated drinks and got there just before me and I just got 2 refreshers which they already have made !!!!! i hate to give a bad review but this was one of the worst experiences ive had at a starbucks which is normally a fairly pleasant and quick experience. the store had what i consider a normal amount of patrons, with maybe 6/10 seats filled with only a half dozen people standing, so not busy for a saturday. i had a refill coffee in my insulated cup with extra cream which was served with more cream than coffee and was room temperature in about 1.5 minutes from my order. i also ordered a small cup of strawberry grains and a sausage sandwich. i posted up near the counter so i could grab my items and leave and enjoy my breakfast. i waited 7 minutes and found my sandwich had been sitting on the counter uncalled for about 5 minutes and was already cold. i asked for it to be reheated and after a minute no one had even touched it. i immediately took it to the counter and asked for a refund. the staff dod offer alternatives but unfortunately i had spent 5 more minutes in the store than i had and had to leave. Starbucks, this can be fixed, the staff needs to pay attention to orders and drove getting those orders moving off the counter, calling peoples names would help, as in you have to call peoples names, no one is a mind reader and keeping orders out of view doesn't help us drive you to getting our orders. second, serving cold coffee is a total fail, you guys literally have one job, coffee, everything else is secondary. i suggest active supervision keeping things moving and helping the staff meet expectations and delivering the consistent quality product we expect to receive for the price. left here and got down the road after being frustrated only to find mu favorite coffee cold and over creamed. read more

The Starbucks we have come to depend on for our morning dose caffeine/crack is now serving keto friendly egg bites in a variety of flavors. My favs are egg white red pepper and guyere bacon. Don't forget to ask for the siracha sauce. Skinny cinnamon dolce latte with almond milk is great accompaniment. Stopped by here after spending a couple bucks at DSW, and I'm so glad I did. The weather was a little overcast-- I was a little hungry and a touch cold. Came in and ordered a vanilla whole milk chai tea latte, hold the foam, please! It was perfect. The setting was perfect-- jazz, great paintings on the wall of musicians, a long, wooden picnic type of table by the window, comfy chairs, and a spacious room.
