Decided to swing by SB today and get a little wild by trying a new drink. The drive though line, like always, is packed. The front entry is open and it is quick in and out. I ordered Venti matcha with vanilla cold Foam, coconut milk and sugar free vanilla. I tried sugar free vanilla because I'm trying to lay off the sugar. But as I write this and look at all of the sugary ingredients I kept adding I really didn't save myself there...wooops ‍ The barista was awesome she talked to me about the tea and handed me a drink that was picture perfect. I get back into the car where my husband gave it a try first. He got a taste of that cold foam and I new I was in trouble when his eyes lit up. There was a moment when I thought I lost my drink. This is drink is fantastic!! Really not to sweet and super refreshing. This SB is a solid spot!! read more

This is the closest Starbucks to my house and have been there hundreds of times. The staff seems pretty consistent in that they do not seem to have a lot of turnover. I see the most of the same faces every time I go there. The food and drinks are consistent most of the time. The drive thru line sometimes moves quickly and other times it's insanely slow. I think it depends on how many Frappuccino orders are in the line. The less the faster the line is. They have plenty of seating inside for working or meetings and they have a nice outdoor area when the weather breaks. read more

This is a good location to get you work done at. The team works hard to get the drinks out quick. Their customer service is fantastic. The inside is always clean...not too loud on the music. Kind of the Goldie Locks Starbucks for me. Today I punched in my order while sitting in the store like I normally do but the app ordered a hot drink and the young ladies knew from my frequent visits that something was off...so before making the drink they stopped to ask me if that was correct or if I meant to order my usual iced drink...that was an awesome move and exactly the reason I camp out here...the people that work here are dedicated and try their best every day. I came to this Starbucks today because I had gone down the street for a simple white mocha.. and for the second time the milk was sitting out on the counter, the hand off bar was filthy. But the reason I went to this Starbucks is because I simply couldn't drink the coffee. it was extremely burnt and rancid. I am never one to return something, Ill just eat/drink it but I desperately needed coffee and couldn't drink this one. The kind people at this location made my day. Even though I felt so embarrassed, they still help up to Starbucks policy in remaking the drink and taking pride in their customers. Thank you (mike) who remade my drink. I went into Starbucks in hopes of avoiding the line in the drive thru. Although my food items came out in a timely manner, my drinks took 35 minutes. Every person that was in front AND behind me got their drinks before I did. I had 2 very simple drinks, a pink drink and strawberry refresher. The girl making the drinks was too busy talking on her headset laughing with coworkers, even flirting with one of the guys working. I am very frustrated and wanted to share my experience. read more

Better than your average Starbucks. Better? How is that? Are they not all the same? Well..... This is a brand new location. So it is not as "tired" as some of the older stores that have been ridden hard and put up wet. FYI SB - Follow Culvers examples, not Hardees - Update your stores). So it's nicer. Second, part of it is a TON of electrical outlets. One of those issues in lots of starbucks is scrounging for outlets, moving furntiture, asking "is your computer charged up yet?" I ride my bike to this location before work every day and I can gladly say that i've never been disappointed, they're always fast and the quality is always great. Today, the cafe was closed due to unforeseen circumstances, so unfortunately I couldn't order in drive thru because i ride a bike, so I called them asking if I could pull in the drive thru on my bike. So the sign says they are open till midnight on the weekends. But they turn the lights off at 10:30. That seems excessively early. I will say the ladies who work there were very kind about it but said they are on a timer and they couldn't change them. I emailed corporate but no response. read more

I love this location. Great staff, and coffee always fresh made. I always have great customer service. My only complaint is they don't have enough lower seats. Most of them have high seat stool. My mother loves coming to Munster Starbucks but we wish we have more lower seats. We usually go to Starbucks in Hammond. But we love Munster Starbucks too. I will definitely come there once in the while. Munster Starbucks still good place to chill, and great place having a meeting too. read more

Every time I get a bacon egg wrap it's always hard and cold like they didn't even cook it. They always forget to put sugar in my drinks and are very messy giving me dripping drinks. They didn't even bother wiping it. Or handing us napkins. read more

Edited to add 12/9/18 - I've been to this location numerous times over the last couple years, and they've gotten much better. Not only are they accurate with order taking, my drinks always seem to taste just a little better from this location than others, especially those in Wisconsin. Bonus point for now having nitro and the quality of their cold foam. This is the only location that seems to be able to make thick cold foam that doesn't immediately dissolve in the espresso! I always make sure to grab my coffee here before leaving town! read more

Only one star, the lady that served me was very nice and friendly; however, I asked a young lady for some honey was given 1 package asked if I can have one more she stated all I have is one, I asked another lady and she said we are out of honey, she over heard the lady telling me she only had one. Super efficient, they have never once messed up my order, and the baristas are friendly and helpful without being annoying. Typically the drive thru lane moves quickly, and there is plenty of parking and seating. The only drawback I can even think of is that they have no shade for their outdoor seating. The Munster Starbucks is conveniently located near my house!! Service is always friendly when I go through the drive-thru. The only issue I have with the drive-thru is that it can be slow..not always consistent. Other than that, I am pretty content with this Starbucks! :) read more

Really good Starbucks. Above average employees as well as quick service. Today I watched a lady who was just looking for an excuse to complain in the drive thru raise hell because her drink was "too full" and she spilled it on herself in her car. The very friendly drive thru employee apologized and summoned the manager when the "irate" customer asked for her. Not hearing exactly what she was rewarded for her childish behavior, the manager was also very apologetic and gave her what I assume was a gift card for her troubles. (Or to shut her up and encourage her to leave while we all waited for our coffee. All the same) The then still friendly drive thru employee who was doing her best to keep a smile on her face for the now long line of cars apologized to me as well. I told her I was now here to restore her faith in humanity and paid for the stranger behind me as well as my own. I also apologized to her as I do now to anyone else in the service industry that has to put up with the "privileged" and "spoiled" clientele like this lady. My orders are quick and made on time. The employees are friendly and helpful if you don't know what kind of mix you want for your drink. The menu of this location is limited. It's not like the one in Shererville or other places where they have the full menu. However, they can still make any drink. Hey, it's still Starbucks. First and last time going to this location. First off I go into every Starbucks location instead of the drive-thru because "my drink" is off menu. Sorry not sorry, if I'm paying $6 for coffee, I'm going to get it how I like. Now I'm making an assumption but I think the woman taking my order was the manager/owner. She was very rude and seemed kind of agitated when I went into my special order. What is my drink? Venti iced cup, caramel drizzle to the second dipple, six shots of espresso, whole milk and ice, in that order. You know it's bad when you have to say to yourself, "please don't screw this up". Starbucks it supposed to be a little time of happiness and joy in your day, not inconvenience, hassle, and problem filled. I have been to this location four times, and EVERY time I leave upset! Twice! I had the drive-thru cashier hand me a drink with the lid not securely on. The first time, my Venti drink went spilling all over my car. I needed a coffee so badly I drove to Merrillville to get another one, because I was so upset with this place and didn't want to spend another minute there. The second time, I checked before I drank it and yep, same issue! The next time I specifically asked the same cashier to check and make sure the lid is on and she gave me major attitude. Today, there is a new cashier, and I thought, "yes, a new person". I ordered the coffee bag w/ $5 giftcard promo and specifically said it this way so there is no confusion- no gift card. I go into the store and they give me issues about it saying they need to re-ring everything and this and that. I don't have time to be dealing with this! And on top of it, the two warmed pastries I ordered were not warmed! This is coming from someone that goes through the Orland Park Starbucks drive M-F every single day, sometimes twice a day. The last couple of visits have been disappointing, order messed up or staff being rude. I use the app to pre-order and never have my stuff ready or they plain ignore me when I go to pick it up!
