A bar of Dubai wins, but this is cool that our town is getting on the trends and giving young people places to hang out! - A person holds a dessert cup with a logo for Cielito Lindo Cafe, featuring a layered treat with chocolate and cream, inside a cafe setting.

This place is cool. It looks good. The service is great. A lot of the products are great or good, but I just wish they had a few more of the Mexican pastry products from their original location so I didn't have to go too far. This would make it more attractive to a larger variety of people and ages.

I admit I fell victim to a targeted Instagram advertisement. Once I saw they had coquito latte and coquito tres leches on the menu I knew I had to visit. After a 45 minute drive, I initially went to the location in Hammond but be warned that location has NO SEATING. You must go to the location in Whiting for the adorable decor, beautiful pastries, plentiful seating, and extensive drink menu. The pastries are self serve just like traditional panaderias. I knew I was going to get the coquito latte so I went for the savory jalapeño pepperoni pizza patty and if was so good! The drink was on the sweeter side. In fact my husband ordered an iced coquito latte and he said it was way too sweet to enjoy. My kids loved all the decor and sweet treats so no complaints from them. I bought an espresso tres leches and coquito tres leches to take home. Those are a must!

Got some coffee for my wife and I. Walked into the cafe and the place looked very nice. The baristas were very nice and very timely with my order of two lattes. The coffees were also great tasting, and looked well put together. Overall a great place in a small town to get a coff

The brown sugar milk tea was delicious but it does cost 75 cents for boba, it's not included. A few of us were confused on that. Otherwise, it was a good experience and quick service!

Their fruit teas are genuinely excellent--bright, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. That said, they do tend to load them up with ice, which can make it a little tricky to reach the tapioca pearls at the bottom unless you give it a good stir or wait for a bit. I also sampled their brown sugar milk teas, which were smooth and enjoyable--though notably milder on the sweetness than some other places. If you prefer your milk tea with a serious sugar kick, this might feel a bit tame, but I appreciated the balance . What really impressed me, though, was how dependable and consistently well-made everything felt. With only a handful of boba spots in town, Boba Tea & Coffee easily ranks among the best in the area--evident from the local buzz and repeat visits. The location couldn't be more convenient--just steps away from the Target EV charging stations--so I can sip a fruit tea while my car gets juiced up . The staff are friendly, the space is clean, and it has a laid-back vibe that works whether you're grabbing a quick drink or settling in for a bit. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. If they dialed back the ice just a touch and kicked up the sweetness on the teas, they'd hit a perfect score. Still, this is my go-to pre-charging chill spot--and I'll definitely be back.

They greeted us as we came in and we took a look at the different pastries they had available and purchased quite a bit. It was nice to see that they open early too! I had a chance to go there in the morning before we went to the hospital to try their cafe abuelita and more pan dulce . The cafe was good, but i am really not a coffee drinker so i had the jitters after drinking almost half a cup. I could taste the abuelita and the shot of espresso. If you get this make sure you like espresso. It was a tasty coffee but i had to add more sugar....because thats my business On the way back home made another stop to pick up more pan dulce to take home to my family. They have a very good selection; I think the early you go the better the selection. Definitely would recommend and will be stopping by there again next time we go that way. Staff is awesome and the prices are decent; I have made a list of different things I want to try next.

This time, although that sign was still up over one menu, the rest of them were not. So, I took a chance and ordered it. I asked for half sugar, because I usually ask for 25%, but I figured with matcha frappe, I might need a little. It turned out good, but I think I expected more of the creme brulee to be present, and that was my mistake. It was mainly a matcha frappe (matcha and ice blended together) with a hint of the creme brulee along the side. By 1/3 of the way down, my mouth was numb from the cold. I probably won't order this one again, at least not in 30 F weather- haha. My partner got the same drink as last time, except this time he ordered a large. He got the brown sugar milk tea; 50% sugar; little ice. Add creme brulee topping. That was delicious, just like last time. The people working here are very sweet. I'm not sure if they are a family, but they seem like it. They work very well as a unit with the young woman at the register, and the elder man and woman making the drinks. The inside is cute. There is one small table and two benched areas with various designs on the walls, and the toy machines toward the back. We are planning to come here more often and try other flavors!
