Great location for a quick bite. Plenty of parking available here and staff is fairly professional (everyone's masked up all the time) They do run out of croissants and cake pops from time to time

Coffee here is getting worse. They need training Another cup this morning with sour milk. Tastes Distgusting

worst matcha ever ?? not sure of her name but the light blonde thin girl made this for me and didn't even call out my name ... while ive been standing there for a good 5 minutes and the whole staff knew that i had an online order because i introduced it at the counter then to the girl.... dont even know if i want to go back inside and get a new one let me say why its the worst matcha ever SUPER watered down and has a rotten taste I called and complained and girl who answered phone was giving me a major attitude! there was one nice person and it was the guy at the register

All the nasty coffee with Curdled milk

ZERO STARS!! I went this morning, July 3, a little after 1030 am to purchase some beverages and food. I spent well over $50.00 and wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary. My drink was made wrong, when I asked the barista to remake my coffee she was extremely rude, her name is Dori. Another employee, Alex, was also extremely rude to another guest just because he asked for his drink to be remade. I experienced an awful service this morning and I understand that they're working, they're backed up but they should have better customer service and not be rude. With this being said, I am never going back to that Starbucks, drinks are pricey and you get poop, sorry for my expression but that's how it is. FYI. Dori turned her back on me while I was speaking to her Alex was texting on his cellular phone while they had at least 10 customers waiting in line

Great table setup. Suck ass WiFi. 0.23 Mbps up + 3.78 Mbps down w/ only 4 people using the network!

I like this branch. It's not the newest, and renovation will be a good idea, but I always have available outlet for my leptop.

The barista (male with glasses and goatee) is loud and obnoxious. Most people can hear just fine. No need to talk so loud.

There are a couple of tables in the inside and a lot outside for you to sit! The cashier at the counter was very friendly and attentive. We waited around 10 minutes for our drinks, where we were able to take our sandwiches from the refrigerated portion of the case. It seems like there are sandwiches you can order where they will make it for you in the back, which I would like to try next time. Between me and my partner, here is what we got: * Sakura iced coffee: this exceeded my expectations! I thought the Sakura flavor came through without being too sweet and surprisingly the coffee did not overpower it and complemented it very well. * Banana matcha: this might be one of the first banana matchas I have had that did not taste artificial. I really like how they give you a small spoon shovel so you can eat some of the pudding top. So cute! * Egg sando: very yummy and they used the perfect amount of mayo. It was a light, delightful bite. * Strawberry sando: now this is the overall winner that stole my heart! This might be the best strawberry sando I had and I was surprised! Their strawberries were not only fresh and crisp, but the deep sweet vanilla bean flavor you got from the whipped cream was phenomenal! I usually do not care for strawberry sandos but this one got my attention! Overall, awesome place in Mountain View!

I have already been to Covour a handful of times, mostly on weekdays, where I'm usually planted there for a few hours to do some work or study. On the weekends, it can get quite busy, while weekdays are more of a gamble depending on how many people are there. The parking lot is on the smaller side, so on busy days, it can feel a bit hectic. The space itself has a good number of tables to work or study from, along with great lighting. I really appreciate the selection of drinks they have, ranging from fun flavored lattes like tiramisu and burnt brown sugar to matchas, hojichas, and classic cafe staples like americanos and flat whites. Everything I've had here has been delicious and always hits the spot. They also have a range of food and toasts you can order. I recently got the ricotta and honey toast, which was delicious and light! Heads up, though, as expected, they do run low on stock later in the day. I came around 2 PM, and there were maybe four baked goods left. Overall, it's a great choice, and if you're in the area, definitely check them out.

Their cortado was dialed in. Just the perfect balance of flavor. I also tried their plain croissant, maple scone, and cinnamon rolls, and every single one was on point. I ordered an apple croissant, banana chocolate croissant, kouign-amann, baguette sandwich, and an iced mocha. It took a while for my breakfast to arrive. The iced mocha was warm because the ice had melted, but it was easy enough to fix with ice from my freezer. I'm pretty sure it had no coffee in it, just oat milk and hazelnut dark chocolate, which was perfect in my book. I drank it fast. It was my first time trying a kouign-amann, and I'm still not sure what all the fuss is about. After a couple of bites I moved on to the apple croissant, which had almond cream and a cinnamon apple compote in it. It was delicious, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet. Next was the banana chocolate croissant. I was disappointed when I cut it in half and saw how little chocolate there was inside of it, but once I tasted it I realized it was just right. The bananas and almond cream were very, very sweet. It was scrumptious with powdered sugar and sliced almonds on top. Later in the day I tried the baguette sandwich, which had Brie, sliced apples, jambon, arugula, mustard, and garlic aioli on it. It was good at first, but then I had to remove the Brie because it overwhelmed the rest of the sandwich. The apple tasted great, but I pretty much love anything with apples on it. All in all it was an interesting breakfast and I'd gladly return to try more of their sandwiches and desserts.

Nearly ALL of my European clients and friends have raved about Maison Alyzee as being the most…read moreauthentic French patisserie in the area. Some of them don't even go to any other bakery besides this one and as such, I was excited to try their pastries. I got a combination of both basic items such as their croissant and their more decorative items such as their Paris Brest. The fundamental difference between American pastries and their French counterparts is that the latter are much less heavy and sweet and in that sense, Maison Alyzee does a good job. However, that quality really isn't that important to me unless I'm making baked goods at home or having them at a friend's. When it comes to a bakery, I care more about nuanced flavors, tastes, and textures and in those aspects, this place didn't really blow me away. To put it this way, I would rather travel to Midwife and the Baker and have one of their croissants at a cheaper price even if it may be more of a sugar bomb. I was actually contemplating knocking off another star because of how much the pastries cost an arm and a leg (almost $10+ for some of the individual items). In the end, I decided against it because this bakery is the first I've visited where the pastries both look nice AND taste good (Paris Baguette and Alexander's Patisserie, take note). Overall, this place is good if you are looking for pastries that both look and taste nice. Perhaps my palate is just not sophisticated enough but I just don't get any unique taste that warrants them being the most authentic French patisserie in the area. Personally, I would visit Midwife, Craftsman, and (soon) Arsicault in Palo Alto to get a more "quality' pastry.

Not only was it very busy at 6 PM on a Friday night, but the staff was super friendly, and they brought our items to our table outside. We cut everything in thirds. The Signature Chocolate Tart was very dense and fudgy and had a very fine layer of crushed hazelnuts that you really couldn't see but you could could enjoy the texture difference. A tiny flake of gold on top really made it classy. The Lemon Custard Tart was beautiful. Very light, not too sweet, and had a beautiful lemon tang which we all loved. A nice thin crust as well. The Pecan Cinnamon Roll was nice, but it was a tad on the dry side. It was thick and the top was sticky and yummy, but I feel like the interior could've been a little bit more moist. Maybe put some of that sticky stuff in there, lol! All in all, it was wonderful and we will be back.

Okay but... a hotel coffee shop with good matcha? That's the plot twist I didn't know I needed…read more We stopped here on my way out of Santa Clara heading to San Francisco -- it's conveniently close to a bunch of other spots, and since it's tucked inside a hotel, parking was ridiculously easy. (Underrated luxury.) Now, the hotel itself? Visually... a moment. It looked like someone invested serious money into it, but the design felt a little space-meets-startup-meets-what's-happening-here. Some elements felt elevated, others felt a bit makeshift. I genuinely couldn't tell what the theme was -- futuristic? celestial? boutique-on-a-budget? I'm still processing. The front desk team was clearly well-trained and knowledgeable -- they had every answer, every stat, every rate breakdown ready. But the warmth? Missing. I was hoping for a little storytelling since I'd never heard of the hotel before, and instead got a very matter-of-fact "we've been here five years" energy. Efficient, yes. Inviting, not quite. But let's talk about why you're really here: the coffee shop. Completely different vibe. Two people working, both genuinely happy, welcoming, and quick. We ordered a latte and a matcha to go -- total was about $22, which made me blink for a second -- but then I tasted the matcha. Oh. This wasn't the overly sweet, dusty-green situation you sometimes get. It tasted clean. Real. High-quality. The kind of matcha that feels intentional. I love Firehouse in Marin, but this? This was closer to serious coffee roaster-level quality. Smooth, organic-tasting, beautifully balanced. You could tell they care about what they're serving. Branding was strong, the space was cute, and I could absolutely see myself sitting there with my laptop pretending I'm writing something important. We grabbed ours to go, but it had that easy, airy, "stay awhile" energy. Would I book the hotel? Jury's still out. They don't have an in-house spa and mentioned bringing in third-party services for certain amenities, which made it feel a little less full-service than I expected. Would I go back for the coffee shop? Without hesitation. Delicious drinks, easy parking, quick service, and a vibe that actually makes you want to come back. Sometimes the side character steals the show -- and in this case, it's 100% the matcha.

Because, once again, I was distracted by the quality of the food, and there would be no way for me to do anything else, but to eat! Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!
