Me and my friend walking to Starbucks not knowing we would be there for the next hour.

Amazing. But I had to wait one hour for my drink, and I ordered it without ice, but they gave it to me with ice. Never mind, it sucked. But the pink drink was ok I guess.

Clean and warm atmosphere- a great place to organize your thoughts AND your to do list !

I come to this Starbucks all the time. The baristas remember me and ask me how I'm doing- it's very friendly and a very warm environment. I love the music selection because it's upbeat but it doesn't interfere with the studying or work that I have to do. Like a lot of other Starbucks, the food and drinks are reliably delicious and comforting and the WiFi is extremely fast ! This is a great spot because it's centrally located in downtown Millburn and it opens before seven and stays open until 10pm!

Last time I stopped here was a very warm Sunday morning, and I was thirsty. I asked for a small iced coffee (I refuse to order a "tall" coffee when what I want is a "small" coffee). I was informed that they were out of iced coffee. "Out of iced coffee?" It's a hot day. You have four people working behind the counter. Make some damned iced coffee. I asked if they could take some hot coffee and pour it into a cup of ice. They managed to do it for me, but the coffee didn't taste that great, anyway.

Starbucks is a really quick and easy place to get coffee around the area. The coffee is ok and the service is ok once again.

I had been wanting to try Liv Breads for so long, especially after all of the amazing reviews I had…read moreread and the positive feedback I had heard from family. I finally made it there the other day and was shocked at how substantial the place was. It was no small bakery, but was a full cafe and gourmet shop as well. Though I did not try their savory sandwiches, breads, salads, or spreads at that time, I did purchase some of their sweets. First, the Chocolate Rugelach were some of the best I have had. The delicate, flaky cookies were like little croissants and were ribboned with a rich chocolate spread. Their version also had hints of vanilla, which I really enjoyed. I also got one of their large Chocolate Chip Cookies, which was thin, but packed with gooey bittersweet and semi-sweet chocolate. It also had a light sprinkling of Maldon sea salt on the top. It was super decadent! Liv Breads exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to revisiting to try many more of their items.

I have never written a negative review before, which probably says something about how upsetting…read morethis experience was for me. My family and I have been regular customers at Liv Breads in Millburn for the past five or six years. I come here almost every day, often morning and evening, for coffee and breakfast, and my husband gets his coffee here literally every single day. We have always enjoyed the food and coffee and have spent a considerable amount of money supporting this bakery over the years. Even a regular black coffee here costs around $5 plus and when you are buying coffee and breakfast this frequently for years, you are clearly a loyal, paying customer. But what happened today genuinely hurt me. After finishing my coffee, I asked for the usual refill. The person serving me insisted that I bring back my used coffee cup before she would give me the refill. She then specifically told me that "a lot of people like you" have been asking for refills, and therefore she needed to see my cup before giving me one. If there is a new policy requiring customers to show their original cup, I have absolutely no problem with the policy. What upset me was the way it was communicated, particularly the phrase "people like you." As a brown-skinned Indian woman, I could not help but wonder what exactly "people like you" meant and whether I would have been spoken to the same way if I looked different. I am not claiming to know what was in anyone's mind, but I can say how the interaction made me feel: singled out, embarrassed and unwelcome. I have lived in the U.S. for years and cannot remember another interaction that made me feel this way. What makes it especially disappointing is that this wasn't an interaction between a business and someone who walked in for the first time. They know us. We have been coming here almost daily for years. Customer loyalty should mean something--not free coffee and not an exemption from reasonable policies, but simply being treated with familiarity, dignity and respect. The food and coffee have always been good, and that is exactly why we kept coming back for so many years. Unfortunately, after today's interaction, I walked away feeling deeply uncomfortable and no longer welcome. After five or six years of supporting this bakery, it genuinely makes me sad to say that I don't plan to return.

If I lived in union, I'd become a regular, no question!…read more Stepping into Ayala, you are greeted by the friendly staff and the wafting scent of freshly brewed coffee It's clean and neat, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Seating is available, but we chose to take it to go. As for the goods, get ready to devour some of the best coffee/desserts you've ever had! I decided not be basic for once and pick something new. And I was not disappointed in the least! - The Cassava Latte "Inspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut. Contains dairy": Beyond amazing!! Sweet and uniquely flavored, I could go back for this guy day in and day out! It also made me want to try cassava cake because it's just so good. My friend got the ube latte which was okay, but if you want a supremely delicous latte, I'd try this guy out! - Ube Champorado Croissant: Flakey and buttery, with a generous amount of ube filling. Adult and child tested and approved!! Definitely takes your basic croissant to the next level! - Chocolate Kouign Amann: Perfect cheewy, flakey texture with just the right amount of chocolate. Not overwhelmingly sweet. This was probably my favorite of the two! If you haven't yet tried Ayala Coffee, you really should add it to your list! It's worth every penny!

For savory items, we ordered the tocino sausage and spamganisa sandwiches w/ egg added. My boyfriend thought the spamganisa needed some sort of kick like hot sauce, but we both agreed the tocino tasted better: it had a nice balance of sweetness and savoriness. For sweets, we ordered the caramelized honey butter toast and ube champorado croissant. The honey butter toast was aesthetically yummy, but was difficult to cut into and the bread tasted slightly overcooked so it was hard to bite into. However, the ube champorado croissant had a nice crunch and ube filling inside! The service was quick, the area where the cafe is located is nice and the decoration and lighting made the cafe very aesthetically pleasing. However, they do have limited seating, but if you go around the morning on a weekday, there might not be too many people which is nice if you're not into crowds. We would recommend: Tocino sausage sandwich, Ube and Leche Flan latte & Ube champorado croissant We would definitely come back to try out the other drinks and food options!

Anyway, since then I've been back 3 more times; once for breakfast and twice for brunch. And while I'm confessing, the two times for lunch were on subsequent days. Yeah, they're that good. Actually, their chicken salad on a croissant is the best I've ever had and in my advanced years I've had a crapload of chicken salad. Then there's a seating area when you can eat, served by a friendly attentive staff and an adjacent boutique area where you can purchase housewares, clothing and other cool stuff. I'm not in Maplewood all that often, generally when I'm shopping at the equally awesome City Workshop but when I do, I always make sure to hit up Perch. You should too. 1/2 star deduction because they don't offer fake sugar, just that Stevia crap which is gross.

Both of these were served at the perfect temperature, were richly creamy, and served in large mugs. I also ordered a Carrot Cake Muffin and it was very good. It was moist, each forkful had a decent amount of walnuts, and the frosting was exquisite. Once you're finished with your food, don't forget to stroll through the entire cafe. You'll probably find something that will pique your interest. Either way, try to make time to enjoy it all.

Fried Salmon Sando -- 9.5/10 The salmon had a delicious crispy crust while still maintaining that great salmon flavor. A really good combination of texture and flavor. Sweet Potato Yaji Fries -- 9.5/10 Sweet, savory, and seasoned just right. These fries definitely deserve a spot on the order! Zobo -- 10/10 Perfectly refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. This was the perfect drink to go with lunch. My only critique: I wish the fries and sandwiches had been brought out at the same time.
