Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Ordered croissants and both were chewy and dry. I didn't even know it was possible to mess up a croissant! The place was dirty. The napkin station was covered in trash. The sitting area had trash on every free table and spilled drink on the floor. Even the tables outside were a mess. All the while two other employees (one that looked like the supervisor or manager) sit there in the back doing who know what, but definitely not tending to customer needs. Won't be back! read more

Really nice restaurant for breakfast, My favorite is Strawberry açaí lemonade along with ham and swiss on baguette.

I come to this Starbucks all the time. The baristas remember me and ask me how I'm doing- it's very friendly and a very warm environment. I love the music selection because it's upbeat but it doesn't interfere with the studying or work that I have to do. Like a lot of other Starbucks, the food and drinks are reliably delicious and comforting and the WiFi is extremely fast ! Last time I stopped here was a very warm Sunday morning, and I was thirsty. I asked for a small iced coffee (I refuse to order a "tall" coffee when what I want is a "small" coffee). I was informed that they were out of iced coffee. "Out of iced coffee?" It's a hot day. You have four people working behind the counter. Make some damned iced coffee. Just came in for my refill (same day, and I'm a gold member), which I've never had a problem getting before, and the guy at the register (I should have gotten his name) was EXTREMELY RUDE. (Bigger, young, possibly Asian guy with a ponytail). He said "well you just came in from the outside so NO you can't get a refill" (saying like he was God's gift to starbucks). I said "well, why have I been able to get it before?" He said "because nobody follows the rules and does it right". After a little more of his condescending attitude I said "well okay then" and walked out. Listen, I'm fine with enforcing rules, but don't be a total asshole about it. This barista obviously has no clue about customer service and should have said, "I'm sorry but since it's not in the same visit we can't do the refill. But since you didn't know, I'll do it this time, but just know for next time". Next time I come in and he is there I will certainly get his name and talk to a manager about his rude, condescending attitude. read more

In a great spot in downtown Millburn with friendly staff and customer service. The staff are super accommodating and make drinks and food quickly. Though on the smaller side, this Starbucks has a nice seating area and surprisingly fast wifi. The food and drinks are what you would expect from the chain, and music and ambiance make it a nice place to study or just sit with a cup of coffee. read more

I generally have a hard time giving a Starbucks five stars, but I also have a hard time finding a Starbucks that treats people with respect, makes you feel good when you come to the counter, and you feel a little more human when you walk out. I wish I could put 0 stars. I am extremely angry, I walked 20 minutes to get this starbucks. It said open onlinr and is suppose to open at 6am. The doors were locked at 8am and their was a worker inside. He let someone else in and we said "when do you open" and he SHRUGGED his shoulders and walked away. Considering that this is pretty much the flagship of the main intersection of a crinkly, white-washed suburb like Millburn, I expect more. The coffee is standard, the place is small, nothing different from the average Starbucks in a travel plaza in Pennsylvania. Generally, though, the place is kind of dirty. I don't know if it's because it's so small you notice the crumpled napkins in the corner, or if it's because all these suburban mommies don't know how to clean up after their kids. The people who work there are nice enough, and I've not gotten the wrong drink or anything, so... it's fine. Nothing to see here. Here's what they're awesome at here... watching your children take ten minutes to debate and decide on which dessert to get as they gaze longingly into the dessert window, all the white standing idly by the register and watching them consider the cake pop with the sprinkles, then the cookie, then the brownie, acting as indecisive as kids can be. Then, the moment comes when they finally made up their mind and they're ready to enjoy their dessert after all of the careful consideration. Well, here's where this Starbucks excelled... they nonchalantly shrug your children off and say that the desserts in the glass are only for display. It must be something they enjoy doing, as there was simply no reason, nor a single other customer in the store to distract them, from simply saying this before the children made a decision that mattered to them. For letting children down through the act of misleading, and for wasting my time, this Starbucks really nailed it. And why on earth anyway would they decide to put desserts in the window that you and/or children can't have? read more

Consistent coffee. Friendly enough staff. Nightmare parking. The location is a bit small for the amount of people. The lines are a bit long, but move quickly enough. However, seating is fairly limited, so this place is better suited as a "to-go" establishment. The problem with the small location is that parking is so tight, that this is not a great stop for people traveling by, or those bringing strollers or small children. It's set-up like an NYC Starbucks for locals and walkers, but Millburn is NOT NYC. Just a tough spot to get coffee on the go. They also seem a bit understaffed. The decision is to keep the line moving along, or to keep the place clean. They don't seem to do both. When the place is flowing, it's also adorned with sugar packets and crumbled napkins. I go to this Starbucks from time to time and I've never had any problems until today. I watched this kind of chubby dude barista call out everybody's drink and give them a friendly greeting. When my drink came up he just placed it on the side and never said a word. I would not have even known it was mine if someone else hadn't picked it up by mistake and asked me my name. Seems fine. The store is shaped oddly, long and narrow, which makes it a bit tight to navigate. The bathroom is right next to the coffee pickup area, and the seating is up the stairs in the back. This is the worst Starbucks I've been to. EVER. To begin with, the employee who took my order MOCKED MY ACCENT, which was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked him what prompted him to make fun of my accent, not only I did not get an apology in return, I got more sass. He said that was how he pronounced things as well, to which I said I thought he was being disrespectful. He shrugged and I tried to let go, the only problem was instead of getting a venti iced chai latte I got a venti iced vanilla latte. I am a gold card member so I frequent Starbucks probably too often. This is one of the worst Starbucks I've been to...everyone is entitled to a bad day BUT every time I come in here I feel like I am a bother. Here's a tip, if someone says thank you, you should at least reply with something... If you don't want to work, than LEAVE!!!!! There's a ton of folks looking for work so trying to be a bit more grateful of having a job and customers willing to pay to keep you employed! So not only is the service HORRIABLE, their ability to make a standard frap is also lacking... Stopped in because I had some time before my flight departed at Newark airport. Seating is limited and it can get very busy quickly but the baristas give quality service. The restrooms were clean and the coffee was fresh. One barista in particular, Jordan made me an amazing salted caramel mocha! My go to spot to chill and have a coffee. I usually go in the evenings, not in the mornings when it's nutty busy. People who work there are great, just real cool people, in the midst often having to deal with some very difficult customers.
