    Chai (Turmeric and Vanilla)

My friend and I were looking for a quiet place to enjoy some tea. While there, we learned that the building is historic, dating back to the 1860s. This place was perfect, quiet, cozy, and filled with beautiful art. It has such a great vibe. There's even a small stage in the back for open mic nights and live music. I had a Turmeric Chai Latte, and my friend ordered a Vanilla Chai Latte. A friendly staff member let us know that the chai is organic. Both were delicious. I'll definitely be back to try their gluten-free pastries!

My friends and I stopped in here randomly for some drinks and we weren't disappointed. We ordered a passionfruit ivy tea, a hot and iced lavender matcha. The drinks were very good! We loved the atmosphere, they kept saying it had a "Friends" vibe. Such a cozy and homey vibe to chill out, work, or read in. The owner was very hospitable. It looks like they have a set up for live music in the back, such a cool addition. I would definitely come back to try more things on the menu.

Stash Lemon Ginger Tea and Vegan Fig Bar

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating the menu options. The Stash Lemon-Ginger tea is fine for the moment (though the price seems barely justifiable because of not having a tea bag on me). I observe authentic in-house teas differently. The Vegan fig dessert is chewy, though easy to chew, and so light, with a sweetness that is present though as subtle a flavor as the sugarless oats. The establishment has a variety of seating options. The establishment makes space for art and musicality. The establishment accepts different forms of payment. Good Vibes.

Stopped in after a visit at the Catfe for a sweet treat. We were sad to see that we were the only customers on a Friday night. The woman at the counter was very sweet and let us take our time picking what desserts we wanted! I picked the coconut cake and my mom picked the caramel chocolate pie! We sat in the back space and enjoyed the peace and quiet while we ate our cakes. I loved my coconut cake! Not too sweet, and such a lovely texture. My piece was so huge, I couldn't finish it! The woman was kind enough to give me a box to take the rest home. My mom loved her treat, too, but it was a little too sweet for me. We'd love to come back to try a drink next time!

Cute historic little tea house built back in 1860s. Ambience is warm and rustic with pops of art. Service is always friendly. I enjoy the tumeric chai latte and vegan/gf crepes. The crepes are enormous and can easily be shared. The baked goods in the front counter look delicious. Nice spot to relax and catch up with friends.

Trend Coffee & Tea House was a pleasant visit. The cafe is surprisingly large, with plenty of seating, incredible wall paintings, delicious crepes, and exceptional coffee. I ordered the Rose Latte and I've never tasted anything like it. You could literally taste the smoothness of the rose and it was served at the perfect temperature. Incredible...ORDER IT! The other drink was the Mocha Latte and it was just as good as the Rose Latte. My entree was the Sweet Bee Crepe (Bananas, walnuts, and honey). Oh, boy...what a delightful choice. Every forkful was an adventure with different textures, sweetness, and overall, DELICIOUS. I really enjoyed the relaxing ambiance of this cafe. If you're not fortunate enough to sit at the front of the cafe, which faces the street, you could sit at the rear, which is quiet and you're able to enjoy the beautiful wall art. I also noticed, that there is an area where musicians play during week. I'm certain, that this adds another layer to the enjoyment of this cafe. There were only two staff members taking care of many customers and my crepe took about 30 minutes to be served, but it was worth the wait. Whenever I return to Montclair, Trend Coffee & Tea House will be my go-to, for coffee and/or sweet food. I highly recommend it and enjoy every second spent in this splendid eatery.

You must check out Trend if you're in the Montclair area. Trend is an amazing spot to sit with friends, take a date to, or sit and do schoolwork at. They have amazing drinks and an assortment of food and pastries to choose from. My favorites from the menu are the Nutella latte and the matcha latte. They have plenty of space and seats to choose from. They also have an open mic night every Thursday night. Go check them out!

I stopped here with friends to get some tea and a crepe. It's a very cute charming spot , they have some couches in the front as well as the back very laid back atmosphere . The menu contains various teas and coffee as well as different bubble teas. I got jasmine tea my friend had an Oreo bubble tea and we split a vegan peanut butter and strawberry crepe . It was delicious ! You have to go up to the register and order but the servers are very nice. A very cool spot to have some desserts or a coffee . They also told me that some nights they have live music ! I will be back !

Left this morning without coffee and was in the neighborhood so I said let me stop by. Once again I sigh and wish I lived closer to Montclair. This little coffee shop cafe is amazing. They had a display of amazing looking baked goods like quiche and sweets and vegan items that screamed at me to try but alas I was not up for food at the time. They also had the most amazing coffee and tea offerings, but again, I was here for "just" a cup of coffee. I ordered a large dark roast with half and half to go and heck if I tell you a cup of plain coffee was such a delight! The coffee was smooth and deep flavored and clearly fresh brewed with no burnt taste all too familiar with dark roast. When I think of how much I pay for a meh at best cup from Dunkin or Starbucks, when for less the price I get a far superior cup of coffee here. What a gem of a store.

This place offers a variety of desserts that pair well with tea or coffee. I visited to watch the Jazz House Kids perform and was thrilled to see them using this establishment to showcase their talents. The service was excellent, and I enjoyed their bubble tea and a chocolate chip cookie--both fresh and delicious. However, the furniture could use an upgrade; the couch I sat on was quite uncomfortable.

This is the perfect spot to unwind, hang out, and relax. They offer a variety of drinks, including coffee, tea, boba, and also delicious desserts. The coffee here is good, and you have the option of adding cbd if you like. Theres lovely paintings on the walls as well, which I appreciate. The service is quick, friendly, and always welcoming. Will come back here to try their desserts.

    Almondy Crepe

It sounds like from other reviews that the staff is very friendly, but I didn't really experience that. The woman taking orders and preparing beverages was busy chatting on the phone while she was working and barely made eye contact with me or anyone else. Another lady ended up taking my order and brought my crepe to my table. It was mid-afternoon and wasn't very crowded when I was there (although it was more crowded by the time I left). The crepe I got (Almondy Almond) was made vegan and gluten-free, and delicious, and plenty filling. Seems like a nice spot for live music as well.

I really enjoyed coming here to get a bite and chat with friends without freezing outside. We sat on the couches and chair. It was comfy. I liked the decor and the wacky paintings. It has nice vibe. The crepes were yummy and a great value too. They are definitely filling. My friend also got a CBD coffee drink and he felt good. I'm glad this place wasn't super crowded. It was pleasant. I would def come back here if I'm in the area catching up with a friend or going hiking.

We brought it back home and the cutlet was still plenty warm and the romaine was cold and crunchy. My coworker and boyfriend suggest getting some extra Caesar dressing on the side for dipping. The place was cutie pie - I liked that they were playing good music and had a silly book of animals I could browse at while I waited for the food to be ready. There was an altercation of two couples yelling at each-other and causing a fuss. Lowkey I wish the manager would have refused service to all 4 of them because why were they being absolutely terrible at 1pm on a Saturday. Not kicking them out promotes they can act like that and have no repercussions. But anywho guess the sandwiches are worth fighting over. I will be returning!

There are so many different options to choose from, whether you're into cold subs, hot sandwiches, salads, or something in between. It's the kind of place where you want to try something new every time you go. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a solid, high-quality sandwich shop. I'll be back for sure!

Anthony, if you read this, you seriously need to check what's happening at this location. You either need to replace some of these employees or take their phones away, because they seem far more interested in being on their phones than preparing customers' orders. And don't even get me started on the customer service. It's practically nonexistent. There is no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no respect for people's time. Customers shouldn't have to stand around watching employees ignore them while orders pile up. I've known the history of Tony Boys Sandwiches and Anthony for years, which makes it even more frustrating to watch this location decline. It's hard to believe this is the standard that's now being accepted. Poor management, unprofessional employees, constant mistakes, and a complete lack of accountability are driving loyal customers away. A successful business depends on discipline, customer service, and competent staff--not employees who seem more interested in their phones than doing their jobs. Anthony, if you care about your reputation, it's time to clean house and restore the standards that built this business. This location needs a complete reset. .
