First impressions: this place is large with a lot of seating even accommodating larger groups of 5 or 6. I went here on a Friday afternoon and it was moderately busy. There were two people in line in front of me, but they moved at a decent pace. Service was standard, good, but nothing exceptional. I got a 12 oz. chai latte, and it had a lot of spices, but tasted a bit watered down. Mid-drink the taste got better. I think next time I'll get a flat white. They have a nice menu including tea options. The baked goods look very yummy and I'll have to try one next time. I would come back here and setup shop to do work. I think this is a great place for gathering and there's a lot of potential here.

Amazing place, beautifully done interiors and great vibe to chill and sip a cup of coffee. We ordered a mocha latte , chocolate tart, blueberry yogurt cake, Afagato and let me tell you. It did not disappoint. I requested for my drink to be extra hot, and it they delivered. I'd definitely be coming back , and see being a regular here. Gem of a coffee place in livingston.

Renovation is still happening at the coffee shop but there are plenty of tables there to relax and enjoy your coffee! There's WiFi, so bring your laptop and work there! Service was wonderful. The barista was very attentive and helpful. I ordered a matcha latte and almond croissant. They were both super good. Croissant was fresh and went great with my latte! Will def go back to try other items on menu. Tip: They don't accept cash. And download app to receive 20% off first order.

The parking lot is a bit much to deal with (very small considering the huge amount of seating they have inside) and they didn't have any gluten free bakery items available when we went but my matcha latte was well mixed by hand with a solid quality matcha and the perfect amount of sweetener. They did mention they are getting blueberry GF muffins but I'd prefer a chocolate one so will come back when they do.

Lots of seating and friendly service. We ordered a flat white and a latte along with two pastries. The pastries are from Balthazar so they're always good. The drinks were just okay. They don't have flat white cups so they just take a 12oz latte mug and fill it appropriately. Both drinks weren't very creamy, despite the foaming.

What a beautiful place to enjoy a cup of coffee and to indulge in baked goods from Balthazar! We had their Americano and iced mocha latte ( half decaf, almond milk). Americano was rich, mocha latte had a good ratio of coffee:milk and just a hint of cocoa. Even at half decaf, it still packed a punch of caffeine. We also had their egg and pepperoni sandwich which was warm wrapped in foil. Their yogurt from their refrigerated section was good. For pastries, i had their cheese and pepper danish for something savory. Pretty flaky and good! And of course it should be because it's from Balthazar. Interior is beautiful wood, brass, brick and seating area is enormous. Service was friendly, and our drinks were served in cups and glasses for dine-in. My pastry was not reheated and no offer to warm it up, but it would've been a nice touch esp for dine-in. Cc, Apple Pay, cash, private lot on the side. Would recommend!

Very beautiful cafe. Great ambiance to work or study in. They also have great drinks. We tried a latte and a matcha and the matcha was very legit. They also have nice looking pastries and sandwiches but I didn't get to try any that day.

So happy to make this update - seems like the owner or manager was here today training lots of new staff. I think they were understaffed during my previous visit. Will be continuing to come here!

I used to go to the Carson CA or the Gardena CA location on many a late night and they were always fully stocked all the way up until closing. On a previous visit I was disappointed to her one of the staff exclaim LAME! when one of her coworkers brought new bread out with the classic Fresh Bread! that I've come to know from 85 degrees. Subpar experience overall and I can't see this location staying open long term. As it is I won't bother coming back because it doesn't seem like they are selling out because they are busy. Coffee is soso also compared to their other locations.

Anyway, since then I've been back 3 more times; once for breakfast and twice for brunch. And while I'm confessing, the two times for lunch were on subsequent days. Yeah, they're that good. Actually, their chicken salad on a croissant is the best I've ever had and in my advanced years I've had a crapload of chicken salad. I'm not in Maplewood all that often, generally when I'm shopping at the equally awesome City Workshop but when I do, I always make sure to hit up Perch. Both of these were served at the perfect temperature, were richly creamy, and served in large mugs. I also ordered a Carrot Cake Muffin and it was very good. It was moist, each forkful had a decent amount of walnuts, and the frosting was exquisite. Once you're finished with your food, don't forget to stroll through the entire cafe. You'll probably find something that will pique your interest. Either way, try to make time to enjoy it all.

This is a unique 5 star restaurant that is worthy of a visit by Guy Fieri if he is still doing road trips for "Diners , Drive Ins and Dives". All I can say is you have to try them. It's worth the drive! They put a different spin on everything they serve. When you walk in, you may think it's a local deli that you go for a take out breakfast or lunch. Then you see the tables and all the customers sitting there. They have everything you could want from coffee, teas, juices, smoothies, sandwiches paninis, poke bowls, pancakes, waffles, breakfast and lunch dishes. You can tell that they have a ton of regular customers, that are very loyal. They also do catering, and even though I live in Brooklyn, they are willing to deliver to me. Today I met some amazing people at the restaurant. Congratulations to Carlos who is a new manager. He is a US Army Veteran who saw combat action and I hope everyone will thank him for his service when they visit. Carlos really cares about his customers. When we entered we were greeted, he started up a conversation and checked in on us throughout our meal. Victor was our server and he made great recommendations. He was also very friendly, we also met Melvin who was a runner and made sure the food came out promptly with all the accoutrements. Today we started with the blueberry pancakes. You get two large pancakes that are as big as the dish. They had blueberries inside and outside, whipped cream and maple syrup. Probably the best I've ever had! I had the apple, lemon, ginger juice which hit the spot. We also had the tuna poke bowl and the shrimp fajita bowl. The ingredients and fish were fresh and plentiful. I was stuffed by the time we left. I would highly recommend Seymour's Cafe if you want to experience phenomenal food and customer service.
