I happened to walk in this morning when the boxes were still in the counter so I guess the pastry is from Balthazar's but hey you could do a lot worse and if Balthazar is baking it every morning what's the difference? I had a pistachio cream croissant. They have a selection of pastry. Little chest of beverages. Very clean. Cozy. I ordered a cappuccino and honestly the only negative was it took forever. Honestly so few people at 7 am and all of them were waiting for their order. 15 minutes? Maybe a little less. But not fast. Great cappuccino. I am buzzing from it. In a good way. I will definitely be going back. It had a little leaf drawn in the foam. Service was good. Just slow. Boxwood if you are reading this, and I don't see why you wouldn't as I am a Yelp elite and currently an All-Star and author of a very popular book (see my profile, no spoilers here). I like the daily pot so that my taste buds get varied perks, especially Ahree special blend or Java on Monday mornings. Many come in to buy by the pound, including the upscale Kona - or order online. My drill 4-5 times a week is to go in and chatter with wine, cheese chocolate & flower folks. Like the nearby brewery, the staff & regulars there create a Cheers-like atmosphere.
