I have a fondness for this location which I visit roughly once a month when in the area. My affection is probably due to it being located in a faux Mediterranean-type complex with all the stone work everywhere. I'm a sucker for that look. I mean... who can resist this unusual drive-through lane? You don't see that often! Cute little patio and drive-through aside, it checks all the boxes for what I consider to be a consistently good Starbucks. Nice baristas, bathrooms (the usual two uni-sex set up) and a quick turnaround on mobile ordering. Sadly, my cappuccino is usually just decently-made, but since I've lowered my expectations that's fine too. Still, I do enjoy this location more than most and I think it's worth checking out if you're in the area and feeling like pretending you're somewhere in Europe for a little while. read more

Needed a spot for a work meeting so we tried a Starbucks that I have not been to before. Wow this is one of the prettiest ones. I've seen in DFW area. The whole building is stone, and there is a stone patio, a huge stone fireplace outside. It has such an old world vibe. I met my colleague and grabbed us a few drinks. The staff here are very nice, really showed great customer service. We ordered a pistachio latte and the honey citrus mint tea. I swear there's something magical in that tea. It's what I order whenever I'm feeling under the weather or have a sore throat. we had our meeting in this clean and well set up spot. The seating was super comfortable and it was busy, but not so much that we couldn't hear each other. Overall, really happy with the visit and the service. read more

Beautiful space with a great atmosphere -- perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee. However, I was very disappointed by the service from a barista named Casey (as indicated by her name tag). She made no effort to smile, spoke only in the bare minimum, and looked at me with suspicion, as if I were doing something wrong. It was an unpleasant experience. I also noticed her treating other customers in the same cold manner, including a boy who looked about 10 years old. At the same time, she was very friendly and chatty with a few regular customers, so perhaps she's just shy. Still, if someone is working in customer service, that kind of behavior needs to be addressed -- or they shouldn't be put in a customer-facing role. On a positive note, the other staff members who were preparing drinks were all kind and welcoming. This isn't a complaint, but a sincere hope that things improve. read more

The drinks and food are excellent. The problem is the atmosphere. I need a place to conduct some business and get some college work done, BUT the music that is playing is so loud you must yell across the table to speak to another person. I had to go outside to have a conversation on the phone. The music appears to be at this volume to allow the employees to enjoy what is playing. Please, someone installs some speakers in the back to make the long a pleasant place to exist in again. This location used to be great with average volume until about 6months ago. read more

I don't want to blame it all on Starbucks or kids. The location of this Starbucks is between 3-4 high schools. This place should be 'nominated' only for kids use. May be a new concept ' Kids Star-Bucks' From 3-5 PM you will find 50-60 minimum kids ( middle /high school ) in the store at any given time, with Noise level unbearable. Hahaha read more

I came into this location with my Service Dog and was told I needed to wait outside by the manager! I had the my Service Dog's paperwork to provide the manager but she still made me wait outside. Your manager has VIOLATED THE TEXAS DISABILITY LAW! I also hate to be THAT former partner. (13+ years as a partner) But this was a terrible experience. I stood in line with about 6 others for nearly 10 minutes before any of us were greeted at all. Isn't company policy that partners greet every guest upon entry? I had a very simple iced coffee order, which was made incorrectly. I waited for someone to come back to the handoff bar to ask for some help, everyone avoided me. After a few minutes of waiting, I called out to someone. When I asked for iced coffee on the side to add to my cup of cream that I was given, I was simply told "it will be a while" by some girl with pink hair, as she quickly turned away and carried on. So I went back in line and waited. Then asked the girl at the register. She was much nicer about it. But wow. Won't be coming back here. This is probably my favorite Starbucks of all time! It is located in the beautiful Adriatica area of McKinney, which is so aesthetically amazing. Yes, there are a million Starbucks in the 'burbs, but this one is worth visiting, if only just to appreciate the amazing architecture. The patio is a really cool place to sit alone, with friends, or with a date. It is ALWAYS packed, but honestly the service is very prompt and accurate. I have never had my order wrong. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My one issue is that it seems to run out of things often, which is sad because they're so busy that I would think they'd keep more stock on popular items. Even still, I love to come by here and get a yummy pastry, refreshing shaken tea, or a sweet frappucino. You really can't go wrong! Oh, and try the spinach and feta cheese wrap. This is the closest Starbucks to my work so I do my best to use them when I can. Four out of the last four times I've went through the drive-through they have got my drink incorrect. I do not understand how they do this. I even change to my second favorite drink thinking maybe they could make that one correct, but they did not. II poured all out. I am so disappointed. We love this location! We usually wait in line longer here than in other locations but the orders are always accurate and taste great. If it doesn't taste great, they will keep making your drink until it's right. Kevin is a star there!! His level of service is what is expect anywhere, and my expectations are extremely high. This location is my "go to" for Starbucks coffee. The service is always polite and happily engaged with customers. Yes, once in a while the order is not quite right, but they have always corrected it without hesitation. Also, the drive through line can get long, but it moves quickly. It would be nice if there was a barrista and a drive through just for me. But, until there is, I am happy to share this one and recommend it to the masses. We have been going to this location for over a year and they are getting progressively worse. First, the service is always #1, which is a plus, but there are always issues. Ok, I really like this Starbucks, but I have to delete a star due to the live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The place is too small for this loud music and some performers sound like they are singing karaoke. Customers always have to make room for the performers and the place inevitably clears out once they start singing. This is simply not the place for this, but if Starbucks really wants to be in the entertainment business then why not do it outside.... we are in TX! Funnily enough, some of the younger performers (who actually have lovely voices) do this anyway. It is simply way too loud to have a singer inside and you can't read, converse with friends or concentrate on anything else. Nice idea, but highly impractical. Definitely would be a 4 or 5 star Starbucks otherwise, as it is such a nice location and the staff are great. read more
