This is my second review regarding this issue, as I have not received any response from management on my previous one. I frequent HTeaO regularly and genuinely enjoy the product--especially the Ryan Palmer. This has always felt like a place that values America and the people who serve it, which is why this situation stands out even more. The McKinney location told me they no longer offer any military or first responder discount and are now "strictly enforcing" that policy. However, publicly available information--including what appears on Google--states that HTeaO offers year-round discounts for veterans and active-duty military, along with benefits for first responders. I understand that policies can vary by location, but completely removing it while it is still being publicly represented is misleading and inconsistent. More importantly, the lack of response from management after my initial review is disappointing. This isn't just about a discount--it's about transparency, consistency, and standing behind what is publicly communicated. I'm asking again for clarification from management: Has this policy changed company-wide, or is this specific to this location? I also don't appreciate that Jonas keeps eyeing my husband each time he comes in there and specifically tries to ring him up and harass him. He specifically makes the other employees move away from the register so he can do it. Not okay. read more

I love grabbing an unsweet mint tea, mixing a few flavors, or getting an iced Marfa Morning coffee! This store is so cute. I have never been inside and for someone that loves iced tea. You better get your butt here quick!! I was really impressed by all the different flavors and you get to try them first, which is great! Line was short and moved quickly; menu is pretty easy to read for the first time; and they have 20+ tea options both sweet and unsweetened; and several tea(chai), latte and even a horchata coffee drink. I ordered peach ginger, mango Fresca and strawberry ; drink was great and I was really enjoying it; till I realized I should've ordered light ice. Absolutely fantastic new tea shop that just opened May 26th here in McKinney. My hubby & I drove by last week and realized it was already opened and have already been back 3 times. It's that good! The first time we came, we tried Mango Fresco and Sweet Green Almond in their biggest size, aptly called Huge. We also learned from a sign on the building that they have 1/2 off happy hour every from 2 pm - 4 pm. Now, if we don't forget, we come between 2 and 4 and get our Huge drinks. The other flavors we've tried and love are: watermelon, wild berry, mint, coconut. When you go inside, you can try their many flavors, as they provide tasting cups throughout. Also, the beautiful thing is that you can mix their teas and lemonades for even more flavors. My hubby loves to mix sweet coconut with sweet green almond. I am planning on trying a mix of watermelon and mint teas, and another time, try their Texas Chai and coconut teas together. There are endless combinations. This place has already become my favorite tea place... Sorry, McAlister's, but HTeaO is my favorite iced tea place now. read more

They need to train their cashiers on what they sell, the wait times are terrible-waited 15 mins for a blueberry tea latte and a horchata drink. When you ask for light ice they should give you light ice not have your cup filled halfway that you don't even get enough drink. Sometimes the teas are not concentrated that are water down, Hopefully they can take the feedback for improvement. read more

Tea is fantastic. Every time I go it takes between 10-15 minutes to get my and drink. Staff could be a little better. Smiles and being polite don't cost extra. For example, went this morning in the drive thru. Ordered a medium sweet coconut. Person at on the mic did not say anything. We said hello wondering if the were there. Their response was "pull forward". Got to the window and was given the price and the drink. They ran the card and handed it back and closed the window. read more

Great tea but I can get a whole meal for a family of 4 at McDonald's in the time it takes for them to pour one drink.

The tea is delicious. The wait however is insane. We've been 3 times already and the average time is 20-30 minutes between ordering and getting your iced tea. Not sure what the issue is, but is definitely frustrating, especially when you have tired and cranky kids in the car with you. read more
