He made sure I knew that the light frapps do not come with whipped cream, which is fine by me because I save my sugar quota for that sweet nectar of the gods that is the Starbucks caramel drizzle. He drizzled a lot of caramel on the sides and top of my drink, as well as about .5 inches worth on the bottom. My first sip was all caramel... he didn't cheap out, that's for sure! read more

This place is hit or miss and needs a survival guide so here it is... Use the drive thru at your own risk! You'll have much better results in both drink accuracy and service inside. If you decide to throw caution to the wind and use the drive thru, make them repeat the drink back to you. This is key to not being pissed you got the wrong drink because they're either not paying attention the first time or their headsets aren't good. Be prepared to be patient and repeat yourself. If you're not prepared to be that kind of patient, just go inside. It'll be a much better experience for you. You'll likely get your drink more quickly by going inside. Yes it seems counterintuitive but the drive through ALWAYS has a line at seemingly all times of day (except Sunday mornings at 5:45 but who besides me is up then?) read more

This location is terrible... I mobile ordered a white tea and they never made it. I had to literally ask them where it was 3 times before I got it. The lady next to me has the same exact problem so it couldn't have been a fluke. The staff have no idea what they are doing. My drink tasted different every time I went. Two words - drive thru! Finally! That is definitely this Starbuck's biggest draw. The drinks are fine, but they do run out of food selections, and though I've only been here a couple times, the staff at the drive-thru always seem to be a bit jackassy, not trying at all to hide giggle fits or acting really goofy at the window while waiting for your order. The staff up the street at the Nob Hill location are infinitely more professional. Good drinks, weird service, but damn you - that drive thru is very appreciated. :) read more

Well I can say the manager is a very nice person... That's the one thing going for this place... Stopped here this morning, normally I go through the drive-through this was my first time going actually inside. No I'm not a big Starbucks person, not because of the flavor of the coffee but because of the customer service. If you review my yelp you will see many Starbucks is I've been to most of them customer service wise suck... So I try to stick to mom-and-pop coffee shops. My issue is with one of the workers... I ordered a drink I got it very quickly, but the girl making drinks was not friendly her name was Kyla. Maybe she was stressed I'm not truthfully sure, I went over to the condiment table I noticed there was no honey well at least any visible honey... I went back up and I asked can I get a packet of honey. She walked away over to the drive-through area looked in a box then turned around and said to me what is there none over there? She said it very aggressively... My friend even asked what did she just say to you? Because the look on her face came off very aggressive obviously there's not over there when I'm asking... She said nothing she went back to making drinks never hands me honey. Now luckily my friend found some the way they have their condiment bar set up they have the straws in front of the area where they place the honey so you can't even see the ppackets... Because they're behind big straws. I'm glad I got my honey but I really hope that's not how she treats all the customers there... The next thing is we were walking out and one of the workers assumed we were opening the door for him and a giant garbage can... Just walks right in with a very large dirty garbage... The waits can be long because they have a ton of customers with ridiculously complicated orders. In all my years going 3-4 times a week, my order has been wrong twice. Both times my next drink was free as I didn't discover until I drove away. I've never had a rude barista and contrary to one reviewer's post, the tall, handsome, African American young man (I'm old) is always friendly so her post spurred me to comment. I have the Starbucks Visa so get tons of rewards and all baristas happily apply them. I tip as if I were charged for the item. My MAJOR BITCH is the drive thru light has been out for 3 years. I hate going back there In the dark. They can't get the building owner to fix the thing. More people need to complain, but I'm not reducing stars for this issue. read more

Never have I ever reviewed Starbucks but today after about 20 difficult experiences it was the last straw. Don't get me wrong, I know working in a busy place is hard. But the two previous time I went my fraps had no ice.. yep that's right, none. It was completely liquid and way to sweet! To bad I was too trusting and drove away both times. Today I ordered a salted Carmel frap with extra Carmel, I get to the window and there was literally two lines of Carmel, I ask for more since I'm getting charged for it and they hand it back to me, looking no different. Starbucks coffee (Starsucks coffee)... This cooperation has gotten to big for its britches. Your customer service is horrible!!! They remodeled the one in Martinez Ca, near my house, why I don't know, the service still sucks and is slow. I thought to myself, might as well give them a 6th try...how hard can it be for them to screw up and take a long time making an ice brewed coffee. Hell, I gave them a fighting chance, I ordered ahead of time at 1332, after the lunch rush, before the afternoon traffic... got there and nothing. When people don't greet you when you come into their place of business and refuse to make eye contact. It tells me, they are to busy to be bothered at the moment, they are busy doing their tasks at hand. I will simply stand off to the side (I don't want to make people feel pressured and uncomfortable) and wait for them to give a sign they are ready for me to approach or ask questions. When I walked in 15min after placing my order through the app, with 1 car in line, and 4 patrons in the store, nothing on counter for mobile orders, barista working on a drink (no eye contact, etc. He was busy...). I waited patiently for 2-3min, thinking maybe got order might be next, and nothing. I sat at a table directly in front, at the end of the pickup counter, in plain sight, by myself, drink less, waiting....The barista disappeared in the back. I walked to the counter, "place order here", and asked if they were out of the cold brew (trying to give the benefit of the doubt)? "No, would you like one?" "Yes please. I ordered one as a mobile order and was checking to see if it was still I stock." I walked out to my car to get my phone (to make sure I didn't order it from another location, make sure I actually sent the order, etc), overhearing the young lady at the register inquire about mobile order. Came back in sat, checked my phone to clarify, and a blended mobile order gets called out and set on the counter waiting for pickup. The time stamp was for 1347, drink was on the counter 1349... Then mine arrives from 1332 @ 1350. The picture was taken when I got back into my truck after picking up my drink and walking out. When I asked if it normally takes 18min for a cold brew. I got, "Huh, what? Oh you had wait a few minuets for your drink?" I'm not one to toot my horn, however when you've worked in customer service your whole life; customer support on the phones, restaurants, healthcare, etc... Starbucks, reports are you've reached the top and you're business has peaked. If you want to maintain your customers, you folks need to do a better job with your customer service. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Nearly every time I decide to give this place another shot they yet again let me down. I have had my drink messed up so many times here I can't even count. The other day I went through the drive thru with a friend, I ordered a venti iced coffee & my friend ordered a java chip frappucino. When we pulled up to the window to get our drinks they handed me the iced coffee & it was not nearly all the way full. An inch from the top was gone. How can you possibly think it's okay to hand someone a drink like that? Then we get the java chip frappucino & it had so many huge ice chunks in it from it not being blended enough it would barely come through the straw. Starbucks is starbucks. It's pretty much the same everywhere I go. But what I learned today is that I will be avoiding Starbucks on weekend mornings and will never come to this location for the drive through. This starbucks is in a strip mall parking lot, so i was surprised when I even saw that they had a drive through. The drive through line was so congested that the whole parking lot was backed up, and it took me a couple minutes just to get in and park. I didn't even want to try the drive through line since I only had 15 minutes until I had to be at work. They weren't as slow as my last starbucks experience, but with the long weekend morning line, I made it to work barely on time. read more

It's just your average starbucks, was not crowded, I easily found some seating. But there's only one side of single 6-8 person table where you can sit with you laptop screen hidden from most clients. Anywhere else you sit your screen will be seen by anyone. read more

I brought some of my youth group kids in one Sunday and asked out of the blue if we could do anything to help out around the store, since the baristas are always so great at serving everyone who comes in with a smile. It's nice to have a drive thru location in Martinez, but the line is always long, slow and crowds the parking lot. Going inside isn't much better. Parking is a pain and a bit dangerous in the poorly designed lot and there's still a long wait inside depending on the crowd. But the main reason for the low star count on this review is lack of quality both food and drinks. Several times my drink and/or food order is wrong, cold or half full . Nothing worse than discovering that after you've already driven away. While I live and work super close to this location, I prefer to driver the extra mile to the Center Av location for better service and the correct order. read more

Every time I go to this location I have a bad experience. Whether I choose the drive thru or go inside. The staff here are not pleasant. And the wait is always very long. Normally, I would give 5 stars, because even though the drive thru on most days, the line is long, I go there knowing that it's a popular place. Today was not a good day, though. First off, the cashier at the window clearly had an attitude. I handed her my pre-paid card and she handed it back to me and I said, Thank you, and she said, "What did you say to me?" with a snotty tone in her voice, so I repeated what I said (and if she thought I said what she seemed to think I said, believe me, she would have heard very clearly!). She then proceeded to say I owed her more money. I just looked at her and said, I just reloaded my card a couple of weeks ago, but handed over the money anyway. Got my drink and it didn't look right--the sticker showed the correct order, but I had to go into the store to tell them they gave me the wrong drink. No apologies were given, or offer to comp the drink, for my inconvenience. I know everyone has bad days, but apparently some people need to be reminded, if you are having a bad day, DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR CUSTOMER. Just like I do not take out my bad days on other people. I'm in customer service also and if I had treated someone like the way I was, I would have been reprimanded. Just don't do it. read more

I came here today and went through the drive thru. I made a mobile order when I arrived there and waited for about 30 minutes. I understand that the lines are very long during this corona virus time but they started making my drinks when I ordered, so when I arrived at the drive thru window 30 minutes later..my frappuccino was veryyyyy watery because they left it out for 30 minutes until I got to the window. Doesn't make sense! they should start making the drinks when we arrive to the speaker for mobile orders so the drinks won't be watery!!! read more
