Awesome location with a huge parking lot and large drive thru area. Warmly greeted, perfectly prepared drinks. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms perfect. Convenient large parking lot is something we appreciated as we traveled with our 30ft RV! read more

Awesome service, greeted immediately, music was great, our vanilla latte was perfect! My favorite part was the bathroom!!! The bathroom was spotless and when I looked for the sink, I was baffled there wasn't one so I proceeded out the door and there it was(see picture) outside the latrine and what a neat concept- it keeps everyone honest! came here 08/24/26 at 7:45pm the two people scheduled working, one female and one male TERRIBLE customer service. We ordered 5 drinks.The female took our order and messed up the 2 drinks on the order once I brought the drinks back and asked to get them remade, with hecka attitude she snatched the drinks and spilled it out and then starts telling me she made the right drink and we ordered wrong, which no, we ordered the butterfly drink and she made a guava lemonade, not even remotely similar. After they remade out drinks, the male employee full on starts going off that we need to learn how to order (mind you he didn't even take the order) he was full on arguing being hella rude and snotty. As a employee if you mess up and order you need to quietly go and remake the drink, arguing and yelling at your customers is so unprofessional. This is the worse place to order coffee. They take forever. We ordered water with our order and they took forever to get it. I waited and waited. One girl told the girl wirh short brown hair that we are waiting for water and then she just went on and put her hand the garbage and then started doing something else. It was terrible. This is the only Starbucks in this area, and it is one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Staff is uncaring, slow, and ridiculous rude. They have their select customers as their favorites. The service between a random normal customer and the favorites is heavily apparent at this establishment. I live a pebble throw away from this Starbucks, and I am very hesitant when writing 1 star reviews, but this needs to made aware. I waited for over 30 minutes for the 4th time this past month. A really simple order. Two(2) grande drinks. No customizations or special requests. Just two normal drinks. I had asked one time if the drinks would be ready soon (I had been waiting 35 minutes by now). I was then given a very unprofessional attitude by Denise(store manager during the shift) and by her staff. I politely asked for a refund and left. Excellent location, good service, clean restrooms, weird setting of the restroom since there is no water to wash your hands in the restaurants however, you get outside the same faucet drains bubbles, water and air drying machine. Vishal Bhai had an espresso and easy parking however to get in if you're coming from Reservation Road do you have to drive 150 yards to make a U-turn. The croissant did not look appetizing. It did not look crunchy, maybe they heat it up to make it to crunchy, but definitely did not have that shiny outside crust that gives you confidence to order one. Occasionally drop by on my way home from fishing as i know things always are done right. I usually get the double smoked bacon as it is the most flavorable of alm sandwiches. The grilled cheese makes for a great lunch, as the bacon is best for a breakfast option. I love the Pikes Place coffee. Everyone who works here is either clueless or extremely rude and dismissive. One guy slammed my coffee down so hard, half of it spilled all over the counter. I live close-by and have tried coming here multiple times since it opened. I ordered online and got my usual order. I asked for a Venti iced matcha with 7 pumps of classic syrup, light iced. As a barista, this is straight up lazy and unacceptable. I don't know if the girl making my drink just wasn't looking at the ticket correctly. I find it hard to believe because it wasn't busy at all. The time said it would be ready in 5-8 minutes. I have been to this Starbucks 4 or 5 times since it's opened and I have yet to have a good experience here. The last 2 times, they didn't get my order right. And it's a pretty simple order. I was born and raised in Monterey. I've been going to the Starbucks since the first day it opened between 2009 and 2013. I brought my dog in there when she was six weeks old. She weighs 29 pounds. She's a service animal emotional support animal One day she jumped up on the couch and then new Starbucks and I was reprimanded by the manager, which she's always sat on my lap, they never said nothing before and I apologize and said you know I'm sorry that I had turned my back. She had jumped on the couch over their seats as I said she was never reprimanded Before a dog was in a one day and decided to bark at her and when I sat down in the chair at the dog came at me, and she barked to tell the dog to move away. I was reprimanded, but the woman that had the dog was not reprimanded. I was told by one of the Bautista's That I could no longer bring my dog in there as of December 30, 2025 a woman brought her big dog in that jumped up on the counter. I was with a friend and nothing was said by anybody any of them employees none of the employees. My dog is now 10 years old and she's been going in there since day, one of her life I was going in there prior before to be treated disrespectfully to be told about all these rules that aren't even applied on their door of the rules, For Dogs but you're giving out pup cups, which hurt me is a petit had to tell me because the manager wouldn't tell me The most upsetting part of it all is the fact you're single now a 29 pound dog versus a huge dog that weighs over 8090 pounds jumped up on their bar, but I'm being reprimanded and if the first dog wouldn't have barked coming near me, she barked to stay away from me. That's her job. Any animals job Which I have apologized to the manager and said the dog was coming at me and she bark for him to stay away, but yet I'm getting reprimanded, but not the other person. Do I find this to be discriminatory yes, and the woman was still in the building, but she didn't say anything to this woman only to me, but my dog didn't initiate the bark. You have homeless people that come and they sit on these couches, some of them smell terribly I never ever have complained ever and I've sat next to homeless people because they're trying to get out of the cold. It would be rude of me to even say anything, but you're talking about a dog that bathes more than anybody, but it just so happened when I was ordering, she jumped up on the couch chair, cause that's what she did in the past and I would put her in my lap because she was very very tiny at that time now she's 29 pounds it's very upsetting when you have a dog that's been a surface dog to you and she's been going in there since she was a pup to be treated Disrespectfully. I don't treat anybody disrespectful she walks by I don't let her go in anymore but if you're going to apply rules, then apply them to all people that go into Starbucks with animals I will be calling their corporate office and I will be filing a complaint. It's very hurtful. My money is just as good as anybody else's money. I follow their rules and all animals should be welcome. Probably the worst experience I've ever had. Came in and it was slow and the employees were talking bad about a previous customer and also making remarks about them being Mexican. They saw me and just stood there quiet. Their drinks are over priced and honestly not that great, coffee tasted burned like they forgot to clean their machines. I wouldn't usually rate a Starbucks as they are generally excellent with service and quality control. However, this is an exceptionally poorly operated business. They seem to be chronically understaffed and work at a snail pace relative to other Starbucks across the country. Avoid this location unless you are buying packaged food. I ordered a nitro cold brew without any line and maybe 5 people in the coffee shop - waiting. 20 min later - she informs me that they are out of nitro cold brew. Back to the new normal! I am so excited. This Starbucks location had ahead ordering on their app, so, that's easy. And the new protocol is nice and simple. One entrance, one exit. A line for the pre-orders, and another for walk ins. The social distancing measures are taped clearly in the floor. Made the pick up easy and I felt safe. Masks are required of course. But the fact that it's open and I got one of my favorite drinks makes me feel so good! Yes, getting a Starbucks drink was that nice. I'm so grateful. Cheers everyone. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I came to Marina for the weekend and decided to grab a drink on Saturday morning. There were four employee visible, and not many customers inside. I ordered my drink inside the building. It took over 25 minutes to get my drink. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since their drive thru had a few cars and I'm sure they were receiving mobile orders as well. The next morning, I decided to give them a second chance. This time I decided to mobile order from my hotel room before heading out. The app estimated my order would take 7-10 minutes. I waited 7 minutes and then headed to the location. They had MORE employees Sunday morning and yet the service was WORSE. It somehow took me 45 minutes to get my order. I talked with others who were also waiting and others were having the same feelings of frustration. Another couple was there for 55 minutes! I also overheard someone trying to cancel their mobile order and get a refund, and the employee told them that they can't refund mobile orders, which seemed like nonsense to me, but whatever. Worst experience ever. I probably could've drove to the next Starbucks, ordered there in person, and still received my drink before this location made mine. I love this location, I used to work early hours and place a mobile order before I left home to pick my drink up on the way to work. The ladies in the morning always recognized me and make my drink extra hot after I place my order even without asking at a certain point as they knew I drink them once I arrive to the place I worked and so that the drinks won't get cold by then. Even after now I left that job, when I stop by, not only the early morning crew sees me and happily check in with me the other newer members do the same or at least give a very positive vibe that makes my day. There were certain times that the drink didn't taste like coffee for some reason when the store moved to the new location and that they had took in a lot of people and I'm assuming it was due to new crews that was in training as well, but at least it wasn't too horrible though. Now their drink quality is back to usual and is consistent so they're doing something right. All of the bad reviews for this location are valid. I was really looking forward to this location because I seem to only want coffee when it's peak time at Starbucks. This is our second time with a bad experience. This location should remain close until they iron out the things that are not working. There always seems to be something "not working". On top of the things not working, the staff are rude. They just don't care to provide good service. Most of the time at the Target location they are welcoming and offer better than good service and they're fast too. Sadly this specific location seems to have missed the "we rely on our customers" speech. I did not try the coffee as both times I've tried on a Saturday morning all I've gotten is long waits, no coffee, and spoiled attitude. During our second visit my husband experienced situation where a customer was frustrated and very visibly upset and I know it was for the same reasons. Do yourself a favor and skip this location.
