It was approaching 8pm and most of the local Starbucks were unavailable for ordering according to the app. This location was available to order from the app. And, although I had to back track 4 miles. I was VERY thankful they were open. They were conveniently located about a half mile from the freeway exit. They were very kind and happy and pretty well staffed to close at 8. Thank you for the great coffee and keeping me awake while I drive.

I come here every other month or so for a change of pace. Never had an issue with service. Decent indoor seating. Four of the comfy chairs, great for reading. Even those this location is supper busy with mobile and walk-on ToGo orders, the flow works. Outside seating is plentiful and the space for it is quite large. The overall feel is a bit dirty as the buildings are starting to get older. Being on the busy corner of Portola and North Livermore, the traffic noise outside is constant and loudly. Nicer seating and with umbrellas would brighten it up.

I love coming to this Starbucks not only because they're friendly and quick with service but they're super clean. I've been coming to this Starbucks since I was a kid during my Livermore high school years. They've always been super nice and quick making drinks even in their busiest times which is the mornings of-course. Whenever Im in Livermore I continue to come to this Starbucks. I get the Venti cold brew with a tiny amount of half&half or the strawberry acai drink. They're my go to drinks. They do offer mobile orders so if you're in a rush and do not want to wait in line I recommend downloading the app and creating an account. Covid-19 UPDATE: You can now finally sit inside and enjoy your drink and use their wifi doing work.

Ordered in store with my husband and placed it to go. While it was fast, the order was wrong but we did not notice until we drove away. My Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte was turned into a vanilla latte with coconut milk. I was bummed because I was really craving the vanilla bean.

12132025 The cousins were in town for a visit, and of course, since it's the season, we were all craving peppermint hot chocolate. I had no idea this Starbucks was located in this complex, but lo and behold, Yelp confirmed it, and so we went after dinner. It's located in a corner, so I never saw it when driving by. The staff were super friendly, even at night (around 7ish pm), and they were jolly - which was very surprising for a Starbucks nowadays. We all got our PHC, and it was a nice dessert after a nice visit. Thank you to the staff that day who added to this special experience for the fambam. I hope the next time I visit, the staff will still be that jolly/friendly. read more

Unrelated to coffee, but a hats off to the employee. The restroom was dirty, trash on the ground etc. and this employee stopped what they were doing and grabbed broom after seeing it - not being told it needed attention. As a patron, it was great to see. read more

I like this Starbucks. It's been around forever and it's one of the few in town that isn't a drive thru yet. It seems a vast majority of the locations are converting to drive-thru. Service is always quick and efficient! I think less people go to this one since it's a cafe, and not the more common drive thru options. But I like that it's a little slower paced. The drinks are always made a little better here. read more

we ordered 4 drinks, specifically without coffee, yet they gave all 4 drinks with decaf coffee in it. Although this happened, the man working gave us a full refund and re-made our drinks. This was a kind gesture but the whole thing could have been avoided. As well as this, when I was picking up my new drink, the cap was loose and not closed properly which could have resulted into an accident. There were slip ups but they resolved it and thats why I am giving it a three. read more

Frustrating slow!! Typical young kids that couldn't care less about their job. There's always 4 or 5 people standing around shooting the sh_t and only 1 making drinks. I've started going to Vintner Square to get my coffee. read more

Patti was extremely rude to me on the phone. Not only did she yell at me saying that she doesn't have the time to talk, she also hung up on me. Patti is also the general manager of the store. I don't know how she got her position, but she sounds like an old fart who got lost in life and got stuck as only being a Starbucks manager. read more

Giving one star for how slow this Starbucks is. Drinks are great, but every time I come here there is 3-4 employees behind the counter, but only one person making drinks for 6+ orders. Like I get they have other work to do, but out at least 2 people on drinks when you get a ton of orders and they also have mobile app orders they make too. read more

This is the worst Starbucks in town! They always have an attitude and never "hussle", then they're annoyed when you ask for your drink or even a straw! Horrible customer service. My drink was sitting on the counter ready, no lid for 10 MINITES! When I politely asked for my drink because I'm running late and my drink was right there I was told by an employee, "we're doing our best". Clearly not if there was no hussle and all emoyees were talking about how short staffed they were. Didn't know 7 employees on the clock was short staffed. I ised to work for Starbucks, you hustle!! This place needs to get it together or find a staff that understands the needs of the job! read more

such horrible service at this location on Portola Avenue. Not many people in the store and had one person ahead of me in line and no one else waiting. Took them 18 minutes and 26 seconds to make my drink which came out wrong. I had asked for extra caramel on my drink, and I could tell that there was not extra caramel there, so I asked if they could remake it. The barista turned around, poured extra caramel, so that the bottom of the drink was just filled with extra caramel instead of how every other location puts it on the side of the cup as well. Was very unpleased with this service because the girl even said if you wanted extra caramel on the side that I should've said that when I ordered and I've never had to do that before ever so very confused on why I had to specify that. there was five people behind the countertop s, and only one person making drinks. This was very unacceptable service. I don't expect much. All I wanted was my drink and unfortunately I don't believe I got it. read more

I recently placed a mobile order for a Caffè Americano and waited approximately 15 minutes (10 minutes outside of the Starbucks running errands, and then 5 minutes inside the Starbucks). I eventually asked the barista if my order was available for pickup - and he tersely responded "Bros, I'm busy here!" and walked off to make other orders (for customers who placed them *after* I made my order). I was kind of taken aback - I wasn't being difficult, I asked politely, and didn't respond after he was being rude. I get he was busy handling the cashier and making drinks - and he was probably stressed out because it was closer to store closing and I'm assuming he was mismanaging his time or just generally incompetent - but it was an uncalled for and an unprofessional response. One of is co-worker overheard his retort, and then asked me what my name was and made the drink immediately. So at least kudos to the secondary barista, who probably wanted to rectify the situation when he recognized that the first barista was either frazzled or just being unprofessional. If I really wanted to be treated like garbage and disrespected as a customer, I would have at least gone somewhere that makes good coffee. read more

Crappy coffee and worst service to say the least. The lady that took the order was kind of I don't care types. She made the coffee which was almost cold. Not sure she is new or may be she just didn't feel like making that coffee for us. When we politely asked her if she could do something about it. She was not happy, but she offered to re make it for us. Second time when she handed the coffee over to me, she asked me "is it hot enough for me?", as if the first one she made it right and I am the one complaining for no good reason. How manipulative? these people can play with their words so well, that is the only skill set they have I guess. However the coffee was hot this time, it tasted like crap, nothing more than a cup of hot water. I think she really knows how to mess it up if she doesn't like the customer and she did it. I wish they get rid of this person from that store. Really made a very bad impression about this store. We been there before and those were much better experiences. I wont go back in to that store again and wont recommend to any of my friends and family. Thank you for ruining our evening coffee, I wish someone teaches this person a lesson somehow! read more

Used my mobile app to order the new unicorn frap only available until April 23rd. It's not as bad as I thought and if I could describe it I would say it tastes like fruity pebbles milk and the powder on the whipped cream was a bit sour. If you get a chance to try it you should. It's a good drink to have on a hot day. read more

Definitely don't recommend to add to your stop. Cleanliness went out the window, store was just dirty yet hardly any clients. Both my husband and I ordered frappes and basically got blended chocolate milk, bypassed ice completely. Staff was okay but lacked that friendliness you'd usually get walking into a Starbucks. read more

Bunn the Barista/GM makes the best and consistent drinks. I love that she's so efficient and fast. I used to be a GM for Starbucks, the speed of service is on point. My drink is the white chocolate mocha, 3 pumps, stirred and with whip. It's always perfect when she makes it. Thank you. read more

Out of breakfast sandwiches by 12:00. This is a busy location, ORDER MORE SUPPLIES! Also, this place doesn't like mobile orders. Doesn't call them out and keeps them halfway behind the counter. Get with the program! Also, hire some males. Too many women working here = slow and full of attitude. read more

I came here to get some work done. After ordering my drink, I sat down to continue working at my desk. Rather than calling out my name and having me get up to grab my drink, Brandon the barista hand delivered my drink to my table. Now that's some good customer service! I also like this location because they have a decent amount of work tables, outlets for laptops, and outdoor seating. I'll be back! read more

Ordered a venti drink and when I asked for a straw the lady rudely said I can't have one because they only has 4 left. It's not my fault they only have 4 left; so I further said really I can't have a straw because of that and she was not apologetic about the situation at all. It was just a no and she continued to make another drink. Horrible customer service! read more

Just a couple suggestions regarding a few dishes we have ordered which could use some more flavor. Just a recommendation to improve your chicken salad, so it's not so dry, no flavor, needs salt. Maybe add mayo, Dijon, and sour cream with apples and walnuts? The avocado toast needs to have more flavoring other than just slicing avocado on some toast. Toast was difficult to cut. Try using some balsamic glaze over micro greens/arugula and a little EVO would go a long way. Maybe guacamole for the avocado toast and top with a fried egg (not crispy on the edges). We have found Tony Chachere's seasoning elevates many dishes, and would be a great accent for avocado toast ;) The cookies are dry & flavorless, our toddler wasn't interested in her cookie despite the pretty sprinkles. Just fyi - Ina G has some great recipes. We like your place these are just suggestions to consider.

One bite of the sandwich and I was hooked. Soooooo delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. My mouth said "I want another" but my stomach told me "you're full". Oh so good! And the mocha was the best one I've had in a very long time. When I'm out delivering in that area again, I'll be sure to grab lunch at Bubb's bagels.

I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. When customers are in a hurry, it's easy to approve a payment without noticing a preset tip. Tipping should be a deliberate choice, not a default setting. I was also surprised that Rosetta Roasting does not accept cash. While businesses can choose their payment methods, I believe customers should still have the option to pay with legal U.S. currency. The coffee and staff were good. My feedback is directed at the payment policies, which I hope management will reconsider.

Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself! Maybe add mayo, Dijon, and sour cream with apples and walnuts? The avocado toast needs to have more flavoring other than just slicing avocado on some toast. Toast was difficult to cut. Try using some balsamic glaze over micro greens/arugula and a little EVO would go a long way. Maybe guacamole for the avocado toast and top with a fried egg (not crispy on the edges). We have found Tony Chachere's seasoning elevates many dishes, and would be a great accent for avocado toast ;) The cookies are dry & flavorless, our toddler wasn't interested in her cookie despite the pretty sprinkles. Just fyi - Ina G has some great recipes. We like your place these are just suggestions to consider.

Now usually I don't complain like this but this pissed me off. First things first. Ordered a mobile order waited like 20 minutes before heading down to find out my order hadn't even been made. Place wasn't even busy, whats going on? The girl who was finally making my drink, and food was coughing, in her hand and touching her hair then continuing to make my drink.....needless to say won't ever go back and definitely don't recommend going to that one. I had a great experience at the Starbucks in Livermore! The staff really went above and beyond when they ran out of the tea I wanted. Instead of simply offering a quick alternative, they took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the new option, checking in to see if I liked it. They are all efficient, friendly and I do t think I have ever had to have them remake my drink, which is something I can't say for any other location.
