Service ok. But the reason I'm providing a bad score is because this is the very first time I've stopped at this Starbucks. Was driving thru so stopped for a venti coffee. What I got was a regular see pic. If something was off because when I put it up to my mouth to take a sip, I had to raise it almost halfway so there you go so they need to do better here and give a real cup of coffee, especially when I paid for a Venti and not a regular. read more

You can't go wrong with Starbucks. Their holiday drinks are tasty. I either get their peppermint mocha or Caramel Brulee Latte with one pump of the peppermint or caramel just so it's not too sweet in a grande cup so that's just the right ratio for me. Tastes so good! I feel like I pay rent to them everyday lol but that's life. Their staff is always so friendly with every branch we go to. I will drive an extra 10 minutes to go to this Starbucks. The people who work here are delightful. The customer service here reminds me of the 1950s, where the workers actually cared. They also have a superior attention to detail. This location is kept clean. The service here is fast because they have a fancy new coffee maker machine called a "Clover Vertica". In seconds it grinds and brews your coffee order. Highly recommend. read more

Oh my goodness I had the absolute worst experience at this Starbucks. Now just to let you know, I am in love with Starbucks like I have a Starbucks credit card. I love my stars. I have a Starbucks wallet and many Starbucks mugs. I love meeting friends at Starbucks so I always think of Starbucks as a positive until today. So I got there two minutes before they closed because I had no idea they closed at 4:30. First thing when I walk in they say "we're closing in two minutes are you ordering a drink because then we can get you a drink" no hello, how are you but anyway I said yes I'm just ordering a drink. I realized i had forgoten my wallet so I was asking if I could use my watch to sign in another way. The person was helping me when all of a sudden they called out "Sorry we're closed. You can't order anything" and basically rush me out of the store!!! I'm not exaggerating it was the strangest thing ever. How can I be in the middle of getting my watch to my Starbucks app when they tell me I can't order anymore? I just don't understand if you close at 4:30 and a person comes in at 4:28, they should be able to order. I plan on calling corporate tomorrow because I just don't think it was a very nice way to be treated. Maybe it's because I wasn't dressed just very nicely because I had come from the reservoir so I didn't look like the typical Lafayette person that I am capable of looking like, but that's pretty sad and elitest. The staff was great - I'd muffed my order ahead (didn't go through) and yet they moved like lightning and had it ready about a minute after I'd ordered. They were kind and enthusiastic. The food, as always was great. read more

This is the best starbucks in the area I've tried. I only get a simple latte wherever I go so that is all I judge on. It's always very consistent and good and service is very very good. The woman working this evening 2/4/25 was so friendly. If I'm brutally honest I still go to Pete's when possible because the coffee is more to my taste, but still, this is I believe the best local starbucks by a good margin. read more

I will go out of my way to go to this location. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are some of the nicest baristas out there. They are very fast and the drinks always taste delicious. They go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your order. They greet you every time someone walks through the door and always have a positive attitude, which is rare these days. There is ample seating both inside and out to get work done and enjoy your time there instead of rushing in and out. Not pointed out in the reviews I saw is that this location has the new Clover Vertica machine that grinds beans and brews a cup of coffee in about 30 seconds. I don't know how long they've been there since I don't live in Lafayette but none of the Starbucks in my area has them. It made a great cup of coffee, highly recommended! BTW I noticed a number of 1-star reviews for poor service, so it's worth mentioning that I got a friendly greeting when I entered and both employees were nothing but professional and efficient. read more

Nice location in Lafayette. Corner of a big busy street. It was open but they did take-out only. They did not allow people to use their bathroom so I had to go across the street to Safeway for it. Inconvenient but I guess they are being safe due to COVID. I ordered my drinks on my Starbucks mobile app and then walked in to pickup. We waited at the bench right outside. Walking back from the La Chataigne bakery, we stopped by this Starbucks to grab some coffee to go along with our baked goodies. It's right at the corner of Mount Diablo Blvd. and Lafayette Circle. Coming in at 1:30 on a Wednesday there were a lot of empty tables, a short line, and we quickly had my caramel macchiato and my wife's white chocolate mocha. This Starbucks is on the smaller side, I believe because it's in an historic building. Along the wall there are seven small round tables, each with one chair and cushion seating on the wall side. As you enter, there's a large table near the window that looks out on Mount Diablo Blvd. We probably picked a good time for enjoying our drinks indoors as I suspect the limited seating is at a premium at busy times. Good central location, albeit with typical Lafayette street parking only, although nice diagonal parking can be found just nearby at La Fiesta Square. read more

My fiancé and I walked in to get some coffee before our walk at the reservoir and we were enthusiastically greeted by the staff. Our cashier ( Marco ) was very nice and had very kind eyes. We we were unsure what to order, so he told us about the newest drinks and gave us different options on how we customize our order. Marco and the staffs were all very kind, professional and helpful. I am sadly very disappointed with my experience at this Starbucks today. The inside was great, decorated for the holidays with little holiday stockings on the bar for each employee. Cute touch. However, the service? Not so cute. I came in just getting a quick cold brew and the cashier had the worst attitude. I asked her if I could have the happy hour they had today and she said "no." abruptly. I asked why and she said because I didn't ask before she rung me up. I said okay. Then, I asked to please give me the happy hour special and she said she could not without any further explanation. I replied, "okay that is fine." That was when the barista, listening to the conversation, told her the reason it wasn't working is because the happy hour is for holiday drinks only. That's my bad I didn't know it was just for holiday drinks, but instead of just telling me no in the rudest manner, the cashier should maybe know the actual deals you are having of the day. I was taken aback by her attitude. The barista, on the other hand, was very sweet, apologized for her, and gave me a water while I was waiting for my friend's drink! This is a good starbucks right in the middle of Lafayette. It's right on Mount Diablo. The space inside is a little small, but the service has always been good and they've always gotten my order right. It's a nice place to go for a coffee during any of the festivals in Lafayette, like the Art and Wine Festival. The only nerve racking thing is that it's right by a big turn onto Mount Diablo, so it feels like cars are whizzing right towards the window before they turn. Came here after a pedicure close by. Starbucks always has a good selection of drinks for any mood you are in. This day I was in the mood for a Caramel frappuccino. Sadly it did not hit the spot. It did not taste like anything. No coffee flavor. No caramel flavor. Big let down especially when the service was also lack luster. The guy taking our order seemed like he couldn't even be bothered. Starbucks at 3547 Mount Diablo blvd has extremely poor customer service. I did a mobile order and was not in any rush. I noticed folks coming in and ordering at the register and they were able to get their drinks before me. 12-15 minutes go by and I just asked for if someone could check on my order. The gentleman with glasses and dark hair was nice enough to check. Then another blonde male staff member told me that they are short staff today. I respond "no worries I just wanted to check on my order". He went on to give me more of a lecture, and told me there were tickets before me and I think he pushed my ticket back further as a punishment for just asking. There were people coming off the street ordering at the register already had their drinks before me. I think the wait altogether was 25 minutes which honestly wasn't the issue. It was the BAD ATTITUDE FROM THE MALE STAFF MEMBER. This particular blonde haired staff member could have been a barista but behaved as though he didn't want to be there. He could have been a manager but needs to find another job if he hates his job that much. I hope Starbucks corporate office reads this. You hired an employee that is disgruntled and you need to fix this issue. Read the other reviews and make managerial decisions about your employees who are rude to customers. read more

The worst Starbucks in the Bay Area! There was a sign on the door saying closed due to weather. It wasn't even raining.

Decaf Americano's are my new best friend. Starbucks does make delicious tasting coffee too. My husband is off the coffee wagon and drinking latte's almost every other day. I am on the caffeine wagon so I'm have been exploring the world of decaf. We came in on a Sunday before a local car show we were in and got our orders plus a Cheese Danish. My father in law got a black cup of regular coffee. As we were the 2nd people in line I turned around once ordering and there was a line going out the door all of the sudden. We walked in at the perfect time because this place gets busy. I only had a $100 bill on me and asked if they could take that. Unfortunately they could have but it would have been a whole ordeal of getting the manager and getting some keys for change or whatever. Thankfully my father in law came through with some smaller bills and we were on our way. Good Starbucks in a pinch. You have to park somewhere else and walk to it though. Parking is really bad on this street no matter what day or time. read more

This Starbucks is my favorite Starbucks in the east Bay. There is something about it's vibe and set up that makes me feel right at home. I remember sitting here many times on cold and rainy afternoons in the late fall and enjoying coffee and conversation, ah good memories. Their space is well lit, close to downtown Lafayette but not overly crowded or loud. Taking a detour into Lafayette's Mt Diablo Blvd was an experience. I've always passed through on state route 24, but never had the opportunity to make a stop into this small town. My coffee addiction was a good enough reason to search for the nearest Buxo. This particular Starbucks sits on the corner. The space is quite small, but has a cozy feeling. The best seat in the house are the two seated table located in front of the main glass window. I can easily day dream by watching traffic going by. They make great drinks here as all the other locations, but geographically this is one of my favorites. If you are wondering where to park, there is a lot at the back of the building where there are quite a few other small shops. Beware parking can be limited during a busy weekend and the spaces are somewhat tight. I would definitely visit this bucks again. read more
