    Avocado toast

This is 1/4th of the avo toast with egg! It's expensive but huge and satisfying. Enough for two people! A fun place for coffee and a snack

Great place to chat, enjoy a coffee and lots of indoor and outdoor seating! The building looks like a cabin, rather than a downtown coffee shop. Great coffee and espresso drink menu. I tried their seasonal peppermint latte, which was rich and delicious. Comfortable indoor seating, which felt like someone's living room. The spacious outdoor seating has two fireplaces and open after hours.

Cute place and the outdoor seating is bigger than the inside. Unfortunately everything is by a line queue and number, even if sitting at the bar. Drinks were good, unknown on food since didn't order anything to eat. Definitely worth a try though!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the Bay. The staff is always super friendly and my love and spoil my dog. Either with treats or a pup cup. My favorite is coming on a rainy day and sitting by a fire pit outside. Favorite menu items are their lattes, avocado toast, and their cookies! Plenty of parking across the street and they have gender neutral bathrooms!

Hands down one of the coolest restruants in Lafayette in my opinion. The vibe and drinks are spot on. We haven't tried the food yet but we will be back soon. We wanted a quick stop for drinks while our toddler napped in the stroller after our walk. This was such a fun place to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Service was quick and easy. I love going places where you can order quickly and everyone is friendly. Can't wait to come back!!

After my mom's appointment we wanted to grab coffee and we come across this shop We walked in to this coffee shop or "at least that is what I thought" and you could see people seating in the couch working on their computers at the bar a couple drinking beer and the menu was mostly regular drinks like coffee lattes etc, spirits like expresso martini, beer, and more. No much of the options for food probably were arrived after 4pm and it was just like appetizer style We ended up ordering pretzel, and beignets Plenty outdoor space, seems like you can bring your own food order a drink or two and seat outside at least that is what we saw when we walked in Another thing to noticed was appetizer or small bites are like happy hour style. I looked to the lunch menu and it seems to have more variety I will recommend it if you want to do some kind of on the go or small bite and a drink I might try the lunch by coming a bit earlier than we did

Stopped here for coffee and a breakfast burrito on the way to SF. I got a lavender oat latte and really enjoyed how much lavender it had. The breakfast burrito was delicious: cheesy and potatoey and everything you could ask for in a breakfast, wrapped up in a tortilla. The outdoor seating area was super cute too. A good amount of people were sitting outside even though it was a bit chilly out.

One of the worst avocado toast (or better say guacamole toast).

Not recommending for breakfast/brunch Our experience left much to be desired. The only highlight was the lovely outdoor seating and the overall ambiance, which was quite pleasant and inviting. Everything related to food and coffee was a letdown. I tried the avocado toast with egg, which came with a sad side salad. The toast had a very citrus-y guacamole-like spread topped with dry, cold scrambled eggs. Honestly, I'm sure most of you could do better at home. The breakfast sandwich was slightly better than the avocado toast, but still not impressive. The pepper jelly on it was a bit weird and didn't quite work for me. The worst part, though, was the coffee. The baristas seemed inexperienced, the portions were excessively large, and the coffee itself was below mediocre. It was really disappointing, especially for a place that seems to pride itself on a good brunch experience. Overall, despite the nice outdoor seating and ambiance, the food and coffee were such a disappointment that I don't see myself going back.

Great spot! The newly renovated inside, is so well appointed for a cozy sit-down with good company, or just with your computer, doing a bit of work. Yummy coffee's, teas, and drinks. Good bites to satiate your cravings, and goes well with that second latte! It's fun to hang out or work at one of the places to sit outside, usually run into nice people and get some chatting or work done while enjoying the vibe of the neighborhood.

Love this spot! They have great food and a variety of drink options (including alcoholic). I personally love going to grab a quick bite and sitting outside. It's super easy to order at the counter and grab a seat. The outdoors area is great vibes and is covered. The staff is very friendly as well.

Avocado Smash and Mango Hibiscus Lemonade

Came here for lunch recently. This restaurant is super cute! Lafayette Public House is located downtown so be aware that all the parking is metered, even the ones located in the parking lots. I would not try to get away from not paying because I saw a handful of people getting a parking ticket while we ate lunch. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My friend and I ended up sitting outside because the weather was amazing. I ordered the Avocado Smash and Mango Hibiscus Iced Tea. The Avocado Smash was delicious! It came with a side of salad. I found that the ingredients were very fresh. I would say that the serving is just right. I was able to finish it and was satisfied. The Mango Hibiscus Iced Tea was also delicious but a bit sweet for my taste. The price was also surprisingly decent! I'd come here again if I was in the area.

    Orange Coconut Latte
    Sara B.

The spiced matcha latte is so good! Tastes like carrot cake, without being overly sweet, a must try. I was pleasantly surprised. The avocado smash was yummy as well. Stopped by after a hike at the reservoir with the doggo, as they're very dog friendly with lots of outdoor seating. I didn't care too much for their churros that I tried during a previous visit. Service is fast and very friendly, definitely will be coming back!

Quite a cool spot in Lafayette. Been on the list of places to try for quite a while. Really cool patio with a walk-up order window. Inside is small, but cozy with a bar. Patio has heaters and a decent amount of seating. Draught beer list was good and mimosa was quite tasty. Food was very, very fresh. Had the avocado smash with scrambled eggs and bacon and also the breakfast burrito. Very impressed with the food. Definitely will be back. Patio is also very dog friendly.

Parking is free, the outdoor space is nice, and we were quickly seated. After that, it was all down hill. We ordered off the happy hour menu - caesar, cheese plate, shishitos, sliders, and a couple of drinks (none of the specialty cocktails are on happy hour). The beers were the best thing, then the shishitos. Our cheese plate was completely INEDIBLE. You could tell that it had been sitting out for a very long time because the cheese was sweaty and some pieces were MOLDY - like the edge piece of a hard cheese after it's been in your fridge for a while that you cut off and throw away. The grapes were shriveled as well. Not sure how this is acceptable to serve. Supposedly it was made earlier for room service. All they did was take it off the bill and barely apologized - we were in a hurry since it took about 20/25 minutes for everything to even come out and could not wait for them to remake it. Idk, it was appalling and I was hoping for more restitution. Will not be recommending.

She escorted me to the patio to convince our party of sitting there, and I said no, we really prefer the main dining room. Then she asked if we wanted to sit at the bar dining room. I said, no, we prefer the main dining room. Finally, appeared to give in and said she would set-up seating for us in the main room. Thinking she was doing us a favor and squeezing us into a crowded dining room, the room was filled with empty tables. Feedback Park Bistro, sit your guests in the main dining room before offering the patio. That should be the last option for guests to be seated unless requested. The food was ok, but after experiencing so much trouble in getting seated, so many thoughts of why we were 1st encouraged to sit in the patio...

From the moment we walked in, the hostess was warm and welcoming, and our server was exceptional throughout the night. The cocktails were also a standout -- the Old Mez, The Vintage, and even my Matcha Bliss mocktail were all . We started with the Brussels sprouts, mussels, and truffle fries. The appetizer portions were generous and satisfying. The mussels were cooked perfectly with a flavorful sauce that had us finishing every bite. The truffle fries were hot and crispy, served with ketchup and aioli. The Brussels sprouts had the perfect crisp in every layer, while the onion, apple, and bacon balanced the dish really well. Unfortunately, the lamb chops completely changed the experience. When the plate arrived, both my husband and I immediately noticed how small the portion was for a $45 entrée -- just a few lamb chops and four small carrots. Compared to the appetizers, it honestly felt more like an appetizer than a main course. I ordered mine medium rare, but my pieces came out rare and chewy with quite a bit of fat, leaving one bite of meat per piece. My husband's pieces were cooked more accurately, but his cuts were a little thicker than mine. For the price point, the dish simply didn't feel worth it or satisfying enough to be considered a true entrée. For two people, including tip, the bill was over $200. We would return, but next time we'd stick to cocktails and appetizers, because that's definitely where Chateau shines.

As a Peruvian who cooks this food at home, I can say confidently: this restaurant doesn't deliver authentic Peruvian cuisine, and the prices don't justify the quality. The adobo tasted more like mole than traditional Peruvian seasoning. Across every dish, the flavors felt off, overseasoned or just plain confused, the sarsa de cebolla had cilantro! The reviews are mostly five stars, but I suspect that's from people 1000% unfamiliar with what real Peruvian food tastes like. If you've had it done right, you'll notice immediately here.
