Solid chicken pesto panini -- tasty and super filling. Friendly service. Clean, cute cafe. Looking forward to trying their other items.

Great basic turkey sandwich! I was surprised by how large the sandwich was. Added mustard!

Lafayette, California in early October is like an autumnal daydream. At high noon, the shaking tree leaves seem to sing in unison off Mt Diablo Valley Blvd. On the adjacent to BevMo off Mt Diablo Blvd, you will run into a rare parking lot with space ($2/hour metered parking) and this little cozy place. It's quiet and an excellent place to sit outdoors and eat a sandwich and relax for 30-45 minutes on your lunch break. I had the Turkey Avocado Turkey Pannini. The toasted bread is almost like a large cross-cut fry and this tasted decent. Not a ton of flavor but did the job. With a Pelligrino, it will cost you $20. Service is reliable and sincere.

Super yummy sandwiches and salads. Not only that their macchiatos are perfect, also they always ask if everything is okay so service is super good too !

Hidden behind a couple buildings, Oasis Cafe is a delightful little cafe serving Mediterranean with fairly decent prices for the area. Bowls, gyros, and the greek platter top the list on what looks the most appetizing. It's quite a small place with a few tables indoors and outside. It's a much more casual environment, and the employee here was pretty nice and friendly. It doesn't seem to get too crowded here which is pretty nice especially for the lunch hour. I ordered the chicken Shawarma bowl (~$9), and my coworkers tried out the lamb gyro and the greek platter. The bowl came with some pita, lots of good looking veggies, and of course some pretty good chicken. The bowl was pretty filling, and had plenty of variety to keep me interested. Great place if you're looking for a quick bite. The greek platter also looked really good too

The turkey, bacon avocado Panini sandwich was great. The best quality bacon I've ever had in a sandwich.

I ordered the Toscana sandwich with 24-month prosciutto, burrata, truffle honey, and arugula, and I can confidently say it was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life--and that's coming from someone who has traveled all over Europe, including Italy. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and the combination of flavors was just unreal. I got mine extra toasted, and it came out perfect--warm, crispy, and honestly tasted like it was made fresh out of the garden. The quality really stands out. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality you're getting.

You order at the counter and have the option to sit at a high top in front of the window, a few regular tables, or outside. The bread on all sandwiches was so fluffy but toasty on the outside. La Nonna - meatballs, eggplant, and mozzarella. The sauce on this sandwich was incredible. The meatball to eggplant ratio was perfect and the melted cheese brought it all together. California - a solid turkey avocado sandwich. Lucca - the burrata overpowered the sandwich and the ratio to the salame was not up to par but the caramelized onions made up for it. Margherita Pizza Slice - bread had a good crunch to it but was still soft. Sauce, cheese, and basil ratio was on point. Tramonto Salad - the lemon thyme vinaigrette brought this arugula salad all together. You can also build your own sandwich and they have a lot of great spreads and meats to pick from.

Decades ago, I worked…read morefor one of their competitors and I appreciate the effort that goes into the quality and selection of their offerings. -For a grocery their size, they have an excellent selection of local produce from individual farms. -Their butcher aisle is superb, so many cuts and the quality of their meats, poultry and seafood is outstanding! How many groceries carry "American wagyu-style beef?" or fresh Scottish salmon?" (Not to mention how nice their butchers are, they are so willing to help with any specific cuts or instructions you need). -The deli has a great selection of cold-cuts, salads and makes killer sandwiches. -The cheese dept has an excellently-curated selection, far better than the chain stores. -Their in-house produced entrees are delicious, as well as the best local bakery/bread offerings. -Their checkout staff are friendly, beyond simply emptying your cart. They offer assistance to your car and have "associates" in the parking lot to help with parking and cart retrieval. This is "old-school" service in the 21st century...(obviously, they can't charge chain-store prices; they don't have the same buying power), but I definitely get value when I shop there...kudos to Diablo Foods, you "rock!"

I come back here once every week or two after placing an order via fax for my work place. So why only four stars? They unfortunately can get rushed, and miss stuff on the faxed in order sheets. Basic stuff: "please serve hot" or even as simple as basic ingredients to include like mayo or mustard. Don't get me wrong, I'll keep coming back here. If they could just get the orders more accurate it would be an easy 5/5!
