Panache is such an amazing boba tea spot! They have options for food as well like breakfast burritos which I'll be back for! Their tea options are semi tradition which I love! Lots of hand baked goodies I got the rose jasmine and it is amazing! They also have a lot of toppings for jelly and boba! Service is amazing! It's a very small team so be patience when ordering! Great place to do some work or meet up with a friend as there's plenty seating. The teas here are organic and brewed in house! How lovely! The service was fine, we came to get my daughter an iced matcha latte before her long day at school. I waited in the car while my daughter went to order her drink. She came back with what looked like milk so I asked her what she got and she said a matcha latte. I had to check the bottom of the cup...saw a small amount of settled matcha at the bottom. Since we were in a rush to get to school on time, we left. I did take a sip and it tasted exactly the way it looked. It was basically sweetened milk. read more

It is a cute little place on the corner near Trader Joe's. The workers are sweet but the coffee is super weak. I got an oatmilk latte and it was just so weak. My husband got a drip black and it wasn't even that hot. We had the blueberry scone. It was ok. We also had the Reese's peanut butter cup cookie. Now that was really good! I would go back for the cookie but bring my own coffee. read more

I enjoyed this coffee shop for the study environment. It is nice and clean and quiet so it is great for studying! The wifi is reliable and you have both drinks and snacks to keep you going while you're on that study grind. There's a few tables and a few that have comfier booth seating to cushion your butt if you're planning on sitting for a while. The staff here is also extremely friendly! I ordered a bagel with cream cheese as well as a Matcha Latte. Unfortunately, the bagel just reminded me of a bagel from Starbucks and the Matcha Latte was unfortunately terrible. It was extremely powdery and artificial tasting and there was no way I could finish drinking it. It's unfortunate because I did like studying here. While I was here, a lot of people ordered milk tea to-go. I am not sure if it's because their milk teas here are actually good or because there isn't really much milk tea in Lafayette other than at this place. read more

We came here for a coffee because this place gets such great reviews on Yelp, but beware that if you are a coffee snob, this is not the place to go. Their cappuccino is twice as large as a cappuccino should be so was very milky, and the milk was scalded. Also, in Yelp reviews and pictures it appeared they use Illy but they've now seem to have switched to another Italian brand that's not as well known (Inverto or something like that). They appear to offer other drinks though so maybe they make a great boba. read more

The bad: their coffee drinks and boba teas always give me diarrhea; if you feel as though something is pressing in your tailbone an hour or two after consuming, it was definitely the drinks. Came here with my good friend because we were craving Milk Tea and she lives in Orinda, so this was the closest spot we could find! It's a quaint mom & pop shop right on the outskirts of downtown Lafayette. They have mostly drinks with some assorted pastries, and I do wish they had more food items on their menu. The space is quiet and peaceful! I thought the decor was comforting, and no overly loud music or chatter. I would definitely come in to do some work the next time I'm in the area! Parking is mainly street metered parking, and there is a plaza nearby where I am sure you could park as well if street parking was limited. read more

Best boba in town. The sweetness levels are great (I recommend 50% so it's not too sweet) and the boba has tons of flavor and is just the right texture. I always go for their lavendar jasmine milk tea with boba. Highly recommend! You can also bring in your reusable cups to avoid waste. read more

This place is very conveniently located across the street and around the corner from the Trader Joe's shopping center in Lafayette. They make their very own chai tea blend and it is delicious. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into their recipe. It hit the spot on a cold and rainy day. As often as I've been to the Trader Joe's shopping center, I only discovered this place today. Would like to come back and try their Matcha green tea frappe as well as their mocha frappe. My other favorite cafe when I'm cheating on Julie's. I love it here because it's small, quiet and I can really stayed focused and productive. This is my ideal cafe for studying. I always get the Mighty Jasmine Green tea or a black coffee here but they have the traditional lattes, cappuccino, teas, and boba drinks. They also have frozen gelato bars!!! The staff are friendly and essentially this is your local friendly neighborhood cafe. There's meter parking in front and free 2 hour parking across the street. If you don't mind walking you might find a 4 hour parking spot further down the block on the same side. The parking situation is the most annoying for me because I usually stay for 4+ hours and need to move my car a couple of times. Other than that, I have no complaints! read more

Laptopper report - Panache is decent/average for laptoppers as it's fairly quiet, clean, and comfy + free wi-fi. I was surprised that parking was an issue in the area - you're limited to two hours of street parking. What??? It's Lafayette, not downtown San Francisco. They serve Illy coffee and 6 flavors of Gelato Classico. Pastries include muffins, cookies, bagels (cream cheese or butter spread only), croissants, donuts, and cupcakes. You can also buy tea pots and tea accessories. They don't have sandwiches, soups or salads. There aren't many power outlets but they do have a restroom. * Chai tea with boba: the pearls were soft, chewy and fresh, and the tea (served blended with ice) was quite spicy. Not the traditional chai flavor but still enjoyable. * Ham & cheese croissant: One of the worst ones I've ever had. I asked for it heated and it was microwaved. Review #031 - 2016 While trying to figure out what we wanted to have for breakfast, we considered going to grab some caffeine at Starbucks first. But since my siblings don't come spend a night at my place too often, I decided it would be good to grab our caffeine at a nearby cafe that I've had bookmarked for a while. My brother is not a very adventurous person when it comes to his coffee so he was afraid that he would be disappointed. However, I was able to convince him to step out of his comfort zone and head over to Panache. It was such a beautiful Saturday morning, lightly sprinkling and not too cold. We arrived at Panache at around 10:45 and it was pretty crowded. There was only one barista. We walked up to the counter and ordered our drinks and she was done in less than five minutes. There were a good number of customers who showed up right after us, so the barista started getting pretty busy. She actually did a good job considering how busy it got. Friendly and quick service, mellow environment, and good drinks...we will definitely be back. read more

My first review for 2014!!!! (I'm doing the Yelp 100 challenge and hope to become Elite!) Panache cafe is a small, chill place. It's located in front of a stop light just before Trader Joe's shopping area. They don't have a designated parking lot. So turn left and park on Dolores Drive or turn right and park on Mt. View Drive. Or park at Trader Joe's (but it's usually full). You walk inside and on the wall there are a few small paintings for sale. I love cafe's that feature local artists. The order board is kind of plain and old fashioned. The prices are average. They have a few baked goods and gelato. I ordered a White Mocha and an Iced Vanilla Black Tea with Boba. The White Mocha was good. They feature Illy espresso which has a light taste compared to Peet's. The drink was similar to a Starbuck's W.M. minus the oily,cloy taste. My Vanilla Black Tea w/ boba was very bland. Definitely not the best place for boba. The pearls had a good consistency and were barely sweet. The "tea" was super bland and barely tasted like anything. It didn't leave me yearning to try any other boba drinks. I enjoyed my drink in one of the lounge chairs. The room is spacious and there are a few tables. I think it would be a great place to study or chill because it isn't busy or crowded. read more

We came to Panache Caffe for breakfast on a Tuesday morning at about 7:30. It's a cozy and comfortable little coffee shop with plenty of seating. I ordered hot chocolate and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The whipped cream art was a nice surprise, and the hot chocolate was delicious and served at just the right temperature - not piping hot but definitely not lukewarm either. Other breakfast items included scones, muffins, and some other pastries. The breakfast selection is a little lacking, but I guess that's because this is mostly a coffee place. I came here for the latte art. Panache Caffe is the cutest little cafe in Lafayette. I ordered the Matcha Green Tea Latte and it was scrumptious. They have plenty of comfortable indoor seating, so you can stay as long as you want - great place to have a nice chat with an old friend. This coffee shop has been on my bookmarks for over 2 years, and I finally had the opportunity to try it. Panache is located in downtown Lafayette, close to a Trader Joe's shopping center. It's very cute with lots of seating, outlets, and wifi. I ordered a caramel vanilla macchiato while Annabelle P. had a mango green tea slush (no boba). It seems like latte art is the reason many people go, which is always a nice touch to a delicious drink. The macchiato was creamy with the perfect froth. This place is right near my apartment so I come here mainly for the convenience of the location and also their chocolate croissants! The first time I tried to order a chocolate croissant was on a Saturday and the young woman who was working told me that those are only available on weekdays. Before I went to pick up my significant other from the airport I stopped here to get my man a coffee, myself a chai tea latte and us both chocolate croissants. Aw man those croissants were so good! Came here today for coffee and a snack. Got a caramel latte which was pretty and definitely filling because of the creaminess. I also got the banana bread which was a big portion and had crunchy nuts on top, but was a little dry in my opinion. My cousin really enjoyed the zucchini bread that she got. She also had the jasmine milk tea with pearls which was surprisingly good, since I wasn't expecting a coffee shop to have good quality boba. Definitely a hidden gem! Sister has been living in the area for years and we finally discovered this place. Thanks Yelp! Charming coffee shop with enough seatings for 20 and a few outside on a nice day. Bonus is you can bring your lil ones for smoothies or bubble tea while enjoying your cup of coffee. I ordered my usual Capp and it was good but a bit too much on the milk end lacking strong espresso taste. They nailed the latte art. Only suggestion is to downgrade or start carrying a 5-8oz cup for those espresso taste lovers please! "Big cups will have the tendency to taste more like hot coffee flavoured milk".
