my co-worker just called this Starbucks complaining that by the time she finished her drink she found a bug at the bottom floating around. So she called them up just now to state her complaint. A man answered the phone and listened to her complaint but what was rude as he made like she put the bug in the cup and said that their Starbucks doesn't have a bug problem so there shouldn't have been an issue. Plus, for a Tall Caramel Frap, $5.50 it's quite expensive. We were going to go there later for some Starbucks but have changed our mind because she just notified us of the bug she found. What can you say about a Starbucks? This one's up a notch on my list because it isn't as busy as the main Ward location a couple of blocks away. The employees seem cheerful, perhaps because they aren't as pressured to hurry up. There's a pretty good chance of a seat, the wi-fi isn't as congested, and no one seems to resent the inevitable specialty orders. The parking stalls are labeled 30 minutes or 1 hour but I haven't seen anyone going around and checking. read more

Although the staff members are friendly, service isn't the only thing important when going to a cafe - the drinks themselves are also important! I was in town from morning until afternoon and visited this Starbucks going both ways. My morning experience was expected - long line of people headed to work at 8. My afternoon experience was slightly different. I was greeted in the afternoon with another long line of people (which doesn't surprise me as it's in an up-and-coming art and working district, but at 2:30 in the aftenoon I wasn't expecting a line. I ordered a caramel frappucino, no whip. When my order was called out, my name wasn't what I told them it was, my drink was bland (way too much ice, too little syrup and drink), and was very chunky with ice. I couldn't even get half of my drink into my mouth because it was all stuck in the cup. Safe to say if I'm in the area, I might check out Fresh Cafe or even another Starbucks location. read more

Terrible service. We waited for our food order for 20 minutes as we watched everyone else come and go. When we asked barista if we could check on our order she just responded that they have a lot of orders they are taking care of that mobile orders come first. I mentioned I was checking because everyone else that came through the line came and went. She still didn't check but answered that they have only two ovens. My husband went back and stood in line again to ask the cashier instead. Now we found that some customer "took" our order. Strange since we were right in front and our name was never called. Had the peppermint mocha frappucino, coffee free. Awesome! The drink was not too sweet. The peppermint chocolate chips on top added the perfect touch to an already delectable drink. This location SUCKS! Met a client there for a short meeting. Took forever to get order and then when we tried to leave, machine said I owed $2. Went back to Starbucks and they said I was 3 minutes over 1 hour so I did owe the $2. THREE MINUTES?! So I went back to pay/leave, then the machine ate my ticket and I COULDN'T pay! Went back to Starbucks and they had to call security. By then the lot started to back up -- no one could leave. When security finally got there, the woman gave US attitude - sighing and making disgusted sounds and face to us and asking where our ticket was. WTF?! It was about 8:30 am on thanksgiving day and I was the only one in lime...there was a register person, 2 other workers and another one cleaning the seating area...I was not immediately greeted nor felt welcomed...they were more concern about being out of mocha sauce...I had to repeat my simple order 3 times and after asking for my receipt I was still asked twice if I wanted a receipt. Normally when you walk into a busy Starbucks it is full of bustling staff trying to get you in and out in lightening speed. Not this Starbucks. The line takes forever to move and they have only 2-3 baristas working at a slow pace. Last week it took me half an hour from entery to exit. Gotta be the worst service/Starbucks on the island. Seems they are always mopping, dumping trash and going through shift changes. Been coming to this Starbucks practically everyday since they opened in 2012. Very nice atmosphere, the workers are great and friendly. Very welcoming. It does get pretty busy during the mornings, but then tapers off. I feel at home here . . . highly recommended place to study or, like me, work on my reports. :) read more

I go to starbucks all too often, and this location has to be the slowest store ive ever been to. Not slow like they are not busy, but slow as in the speed of the staff. Its taken me 7 minutes to get an iced coffee. Its already made all you have to do is dump it in a cup with ice and call it a day. They will pour said coffee in a cup and let it sit until, its turn in line. Thats the first time ive experienced that. I spent 3 hours in this Starbucks yesterday at breakfast time. There was a steady stream of people in and out. Huge fan of the soft chairs as many of the new ones I have been to lately have replaced the chairs with hard tables and chairs. Lets face it my boney but on a chair for 3 hours is not a good time. This is one of the best Starbucks I've been to on the Island. The staff here is super friendly as far as I can tell on every shift. Unlike the one next to Wahoos in Ward center which I had to call the police on the manager because of harassment numerous times. The bathrooms that's right guys there's two of them here all the lockers a combination lock is it difficult for someone with dyslexia are super clean once again on like the ones in Ward center which I've created a video you can see on my Twitter page. The environment here is like that I'm not as high Makkah Makkah is other Starbucks that I've been to here in Honolulu. The Starbucks has a field have a small town coffee shop not yet ruined by corporate America. And every time I've come in here and it's been consistent. The neighborhood is up and coming and I can't wait to see what it's like once the construction is done on the surrounding buildings it seems like it's going to be a great place to get a nice cup of joe. Good job of AM and PM shift. The only thing I think you could do better if make this a 24 hour locations I would definitely support this location in the future and recommended to all who knew a Starbucks definitely worth the drive it's a rare gem.
