First time to this particular Starbucks always passed by never stopped. Today since I was in the area and I haven't had my morning coffee yet why not . Located Kakaako next door to lanikai juice . Service was friendly and quick on a Sunday . I was surprised there was a lot of parking available also the 1st hour is free . Now I know since parking is free and if I'm in the area I will get my Starbucks there .

Holiday cheers!!! Thank you to the team at the Kaka'ako Starbucks that's open literally every single day including today on Christmas Day and let me tell you they were shaking things up here with lots of drinks pouring in. The staff here are amazing so full of cheer and keeping the vibe so festive, thank you for keeping the doors open for someone like me who can have a place to relax and enjoy it all as I finally get to take a moment from this busy holiday and see Maddie who always rocks it here, thank you to the entire staff who are the merriest and bright. Merry Christmas!

Auntie Nadine and I came specifically to this location because she remembered that they had the Barbie pink tumblers. We were on our way to see the Barbie movie and decided to get matching cups. Luckily, we found a parking spot right in front of the store. They indeed had the pink tumblers. We each got one using our stars, so the cup came out to be around $3. The cashier was friendly. She asked about our pink outfits and the pink cups. We told her we were on our way to see the Barbie movie. She said she already saw it and the movie was a 10. I'm not sure we watched the same movie because I thought the movie was horrible.

Crowded, no seating, noisy. my husband likes the coffee and I like a chai iced tea but golly, kids walking on the chairs and sitting on the counters. I don't need to come back..

Looks like they are sending out the holiday spirit a little early!

After I dropped off my work vehicle at the local Cutter Dodge Chrysler Jeep this morning, I decided to take a short walk down the street to this Starbucks coffee shop to get a cup of Joe for myself, as well as a cup for my coworker. As I walked into the coffee shop, I could clearly see that this coffee shop was pretty busy in the morning. Whether you go to this Starbucks in Kaka'ako, or another Starbucks in Ala Moana, or maybe even in Kahala...........more or less, they're all about the same as far as consistency of their drinks/food. What makes this Starbucks coffee shop in Kaka'ako a little different from the other Starbucks is service! After I placed my drink order for (2) plain coffees, I paid the clerk, then waited on the side - (and I made sure I wasn't in the way with any other customers who were waiting for their drink orders). While I was waiting for my coffees, I was observing the Starbucks workers, and for some strange reason, I totally got the impression that the workers here appeared to be unorganized??? Honestly, how difficult is it to pour two cups of coffee into two coffee cups? I didn't ask for anything fancy, all I wanted was just plain coffee, but the wait time to get my two cups of coffee was pretty ridiculous! Yeah, I get it that they were busy, but I think there are other ways that the staff can improve as far as working more efficiently.

I love this Starbucks. They validate parking if you need it, the drinks always taste the same ( consistency is everything) and my order is always correct. If I had one complaint about this store it's that it's a little hot in here! The air conditioning doesn't seem to work that well but other then that, this is one of my favorite Starbucks. Super pet friendly and hardly ever has a line.

Chai tea latte...free from Cyber Monday!

Starbucks Rewards Program is really good! I had three tasks to accomplish today and this Starbucks - near the corner of Ala Moana Boulevard and Keawe Street (SALT at Our Kaka'ako) - was able to accommodate me! 1. This was the last day of my Five-Day Starbucks Challenge. If I made a purchase five days in a row, I would get 150 bonus Stars! That's why I got the silver Disco tumbler here at SALT. I saw one at the Nu'uanu location and I regretted not buying it. 2. I wanted to redeem my coupon for a free drink. On Cyber Monday, if a customer bought something, a free drink would be loaded on the Starbucks app...yay! I got a free venti Chai Tea Latte! (I wasn't able to redeem this reward at the Target Ala Moana Starbucks because they aren't participating in the Rewards Program.) 3. Because I had over 400 Stars, I wanted to get a free tumbler. I saw one from the new Hawaii Collection that I wanted (the one with the papaya, pineapple, and banana design) and I scooped it up! I just paid a few dollars for it because 400 Stars = $20 in merchandise. Whew! I felt a real sense of happiness because this was like a one-stop shop! The cashier was very knowledgeable, so, all three transactions went smoothly! Thanks to Starbucks for a fun Rewards Program! Now I will go to the app, "shake the snow globe" on the virtual game, and hope I win Starbucks for Life!

After 5 days at sea, I was thrilled to enjoy a well made Starbucks. I visited Pike's place 2 weeks ago, and they could learn customer service from here. Cinnamon Dolce Latte was available and seating was sparse. Luckily customers were amenable to New York style. The coffee washed away the stench of nicotine and erectile dysfunction I witnessed from Army security. I was grateful to see Pearl Harbor and Navy Integrity.

This location is usually fairly empty and yet often low on food items. The service is slower than Ward, but there is often ample seating.

This used to be my favorite spot until I got charged $8 for parking even with validation (1hr) and I was there less than an hour.

I had planned to go to Kona Coffee Purveyors for coffee and a sweet treat in the morning before a…read morefull day of activities. I was staying in Waikiki and Kona Coffee Purveyors was just a short walk away in the International Marketplace shopping center. As I came up to the shopping center shortly after 7am, I noticed a long line, and thought to myself, this couldn't possibly be for Kona Coffee Purveyors, right?? But unfortunately for me, it was. I didn't see how long the line extended, but I knew I didn't have time to wait, so I ended up getting coffee elsewhere. A few hours later, around 11:30am, I was back in the Waikiki area and happened to be walking past Kona Coffee Purveyors. I saw there were maybe a handful of people in line, so I decided to drop in. I ended up getting a latte, black sesame kouign amann, and pandan coconut tapioca pudding. My favorite was the pandan coconut tapioca pudding which was delightfully light and not too sweet dessert. Black sesame kouign amann: A twist on the classic kouign amann. A beautiful blend of crunchy and soft. The black sesame filling adds a nice flavor. Pandan coconut tapioca pudding: Pandan pudding, coconut tapioca, topped with coconut macaroon. This seems to be a seasonal/limited item. Their desserts are from b patisserie, and they all looked soo enticing and pretty! It was a nice place to sit and leisurely enjoy coffee and pastries. I would say this place is not worth it right when they open, only because the line is soo long and it's very hectic with people fighting for seating and getting their orders in. I would recommend going later in the morning or in the afternoon to avoid the morning craze.

The lines consistently wrap out the door in the early morning, and you should definitely expect a…read moresubstantial wait just to place your order. However, the combination of world-class pastries and premium coffee makes the morning queue entirely worth it. Chocolate Banana Almond Croissant (5/5): A standout sweet treat to start the day. The pastry shell is perfectly flaky, buttery, and packed with rich melted chocolate and actual banana chunks in each bite. Black Sesame Kouign Amann (5/5): My absolute favorite of the morning. It features a perfectly caramelized, crispy exterior, while the earthy, nutty black sesame filling adds a massive depth of flavor that makes it really unique. Classic Kouign Amann (4/5): Extremely buttery and flaky, almost like a top-tier croissant with a sweet, caramelized crunch. It is a solid classic on its own, though it is easily overshadowed if you try the black sesame version alongside it. Kona Drip Coffee (4/5): Served extremely hot and fresh. This is a very strong, robust, and slightly acidic 100% Kona brew with a clean finish that acts as the perfect contrast to balance out the rich, sweet pastries. Logistics Tip: The line moves at a steady pace, but if you arrive during the peak morning rush, be prepared to wait anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. Seating is tough to come by, so planning to take your pastry box and coffee to go across the street or down to the beach is usually your best bet.
