I ordered the turkey bacon breakfast sandwich- the clerk holler-checked if they had it before I paid. I paid. Then it turnes out they didn't have my order. The staff quickly solved the issue though by letting me order another item. Didn't take long (I was the only customer at the time, around 8:30am on a Saturday). Good visit. All the tables are closed. This Starbucks is spacious, open late, and generally comfortable. Plenty of seating for college kids who want to escape from campus AND they are one of the pilot Starbucks's's that are testing out Starbucks new line of sodas called "Fizzio". I literally bought a Fizzio because I wanted to see them use the very high tech and sort of Steampunk looking device. Let me tell you Bs, this is no soda stream. This think is like a little washing machine that carbonates the crap out of your drink and it has a fancy pressure meter that goes up and down like a speedometer. I got the ginger ale which was really tasty. Next time, if I see one of these, I'm gonna go with the Spiced Root Beer. read more

It was about 3:30PM and I was headed home from a trip to Lynchburg, VA, and had that urge for coffee. Coming up on a exit on I-83N, was a sign for a Starbucks. STARBUCKS, I said, Love their coffee, lets go. So to the off-ramp I went. Upon entering this Starbucks I noted it was ... disheveled ... like a party had happened and I was looking at the after effect. There was three employees and in the back, by the restrooms, was five stacks of supplies almost blocking the entrance to the restrooms. I made a visit to the restroom ... dirty, trash overflowing, sink and toilet unclean. The employees didn't look happy and I wasn't greeted like I'm familiar with at other Starbucks I've visited, The cashier took my order, "grande coffee, dark, with room". This coffee speak is standard at every Starbucks I've visited by my cashier didn't grasp the jargon. She asked me the size, the coffee type and if I wanted room... No, she wasn't repeating back to me what I said, she did not understand and you could see it in her face and her body language. She filled the cup put a lid on it and handed it to me. On the side station I opened the lip to add cream and sugar. The coffee was almost two inches below the rim. Now I know I asked for room but not that much room.Caught the eye of the barista, which took a few minutes and I almost called out to him as how can you miss me standing just three feet away in front of you... Asked for another 1" of coffee. Three Splenda packets was all that was in the bin ... Asked for more. While waiting I listed the carafe of 'half-n-half', empty. Provided to the barista. Almost 7 or 8 minutes later, the Splenda bin and carafe of 'half-n-half' is replenished. Back on to I-83N I went. This wasn't a good experience for a company with such a great reputation... read more

This was hands-down the dirtiest Starbucks location I have ever visited. Their bathrooms (both units) were completely filthy; urine on the seats and floors, toilet paper on rhe floors, water on the floors near the toilets and by the sinks, some kind of liquid stains on the walls. The floors were tacky in the dining area. Dusty shelves. The baristas weren't very friendly, which is fine...but the coffee was terrible. Absolutely the worst iced latte I've ever had from any Starbucks. Completely disappointing and a total waste of money. read more

Oh Starbucks my disappointment cannot be measured. The coffee however can. I've been coming to this Starbucks for a while now and I've received cup after cup of very satisfying coffee. Today however I cannot say the same. I've heard people complain of cups not being filled all the way and most times I notice it has to do with the whipped cream. I never complain about that inch. Although friendly/pleasant staff, SLOOOOOW service. We frequent various Starbucks several times a week all over. Visited this location passing through. Despite the 8+ deep line of customers, staff had little sense of urgency to address customers who were waiting. Barista was not busy, and waiting to receive/start orders from staff assigned to register. Very inefficient compared to the type of service that we are used to receiving at other locations. The Barista who took my order was nice, but a larger girl with black hair made my drink incorrectly. I checked on the cup to see who's fault it was and the Barista who had taken my order had clearly marked everything that I asked for. So I went to the counter, to ask the lady who had made my drink for a spoon, to scoop off the whip cream I hadn't asked for. Let me tell you, I didn't tell her that she had messed up my order, I simply asked for a spoon. She rolled her eyes stomped off and got a spoon and said "here." I'm not much of a usual Starbucks customer, but it's hard to not stop by this location every time I pass by. The drinks are great for whatever that's worth-I'm not a coffee connoisseur-but what really sells the location for me is that every employee in this store is always so friendly and helpful. I typically have a lot of questions about all of the different types of drinks and items on the menu, and the staff is always patient and attentive. When the location is busy, the employees never lose their upbeat attitude and care for the customer. Store is well managed and everyone that works there seem to genuinely like each other and get along like a group of friends. Location is great, right off the interstate so that I take to work, and right off of port road that I take to go into Harrisonburg. The inside of the store is always clean and tidy. Really made me more of a fan of the franchise, and raised my expectations of what to expect when I go to Starbucks on the road. Skip the two drive-thru locations in Harrisonburg; this one is better and worth getting out of your car for. read more

Made a quick stop while on the road. Was really busy but the staff were fast and very efficient - didn't have to wait at this one and the line moved quickly. This was really different than most of the Starbucks which I've visited. Got café latte and Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans and glazed almonds with cranberries and honey. Was visiting Harrisonburg for the weekend. Went in on Saturday ordered 3 Venti Caramel Macchiatos. Didn't check them until I got back to my hotel. ALL 3 were short - not even close to full. I chalked it up to going at rush hour (mid-morning) and the place was packed. Went back again on Sunday, ordered the same things. Shame on me for not checking the drinks again until I got back to my hotel. ALL 3 were low enough to fit into a grande cup. Pathetic considering I'm spending over $5 for each one! read more

One of my daily stops! Drinks are always good and most of the staff is friendly. The dark haired grumpy girl left, I think, and aside from one depressed hipster male, everyone is shiny and happy. Drinks are made quickly and customization is always accepted (another reviewer spoke of eye rolls). 99% of the time the orders are spot on. If not, you can have a drink made correctly quickly. I LOVE Starbucks! Most of the time I use the Starbucks app so that I don't have to wait. I usually enjoy my coffee here. Most of the baristas will say "hello" or "have a nice day." I don't need much more from someone I'm going to see for 2 seconds. Sometimes I've gotten a barista that I'll say "thank you" to and they ignore me, but I guess they just don't care about their job all that much.
