In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Seems like a space intended for Co-working or digital nomad types as there were about 4 people with laptops and headphones sipping on drinks. Because of the ultra cool vibe, I'll definitely give them another chance to change my mind if I'm nearby but I think for what we ordered it wasn't a great price to value.

And now the birthday drink, something that used to feel like a genuine thank-you gets capped at a medium. This is what corporate greed looks like in real time: give less, charge more, and dress it up like nothing changed. Customers notice. Loyalty isn't built by squeezing people and hoping they won't say anything. I don't mind paying for good coffee. I do mind shrinkflation and perks being taken away while prices climb. At some point it stops being about coffee and starts being about respect for the people who keep your doors open. Do better!

There are plenty of events going on here too. Bottle & Bean regularly schedules live music to play throughout the month on their lawn. Both were made with regular ice and 50% sugar. Both were great. That coffee is smooth and robust. The banana milk tasted of actual banana. This was the perfect way to cap off a great Saturday evening. Dayung is a solid space. I'll always be a fan.
