These employees need a serious reality check. Rudest employees we have experienced in a Starbucks maybe ever. The women working the morning of 8/14/25, maybe working in customer service is not for you. My husband came in to order and no one looked up or told him they would be with him shortly, despite it being empty inside. Finally a woman with blue hair approached him and said "what do you want" (who acknowledges a customer that way yikes) and he asked if pumpkin was out and she said "nope so you're just gonna have to wait" okay? He said okay just a second let me pull up my wife's order and she literally left the stand and went and started doing other chores. He just stood there waiting and finally started saying his order and she came back and said what was that?? Um maybe don't leave the customer and you'd know. And then he said okay and for me... and looked up at the menu and again she walked away!!! So rude!!! He ordered and then when it was time to pay he obviously did not tip after such RUDE service and she sighed at him!!! Omg so cringe. Just awful experience all together. I will say my coffee is bomb as per usual Starbucks but I won't be back to this location. read more

Starbucks - Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carson City, Nevada

I have been coming to this location on and off since I moved to Carson. Most of the time it's been pleasant drive through wise. I decided to go there on my morning walk. When it's not busy,it's great! Add mobil orders, shift change, and a busy drive thru , you get chaos. The way this location is set up IS NOT very user or customer friendly. Calling out drinks with out saying MOBIL PICK UP or having that designated area raises safety concerns along with uncomfortably. Being able to hear the staff gossip about customer experiences and yelling restock amounts isn't favorable either. ROBIN IS GREAT! She's why I still give it a go sometimes. read more

I am very disappointed with my recent visit to Starbucks. It took over 30 minutes to receive our order. The employees were not friendly and acted as though they did not want to be there. After a long wait, I received one of our drinks, but the second drink did not arrive until about five minutes later. When I reminded an employee that we had also ordered food, she realized the food had not even been pulled to be heated yet. What was especially frustrating was that there appeared to be a manager in the back working on a laptop who did not seem concerned that customers were waiting an excessive amount of time for their orders. The overall experience was poor due to the long wait, lack of urgency, and lack of customer service. I hope this location takes steps to improve both efficiency and customer care. read more

The service sucks every time I come here. The employees have a huge attitude. They have made me feel like burden if I ask for my order to be corrected. Management obviously doesn't care because they hire the same type of people. The other Starbucks in the area offer better service. Do not come to this one! read more

worst Starbucks in Reno Carson Tahoe area. I have been coming here for years and in the last year, this location has gone down hill really bad. slowest drive through ever. took 23 minutes from order to receive my order. staff can't remember what you ordered and I even had to remind them that I had not paid. corporate really needs to look at this location and do something about it. go somewhere else if you can. there is another Starbucks up the road about a mile. read more

A couple months ago I ordered two of their large coffee travelers to be picked up at 7 o'clock. I got there at 7:05 and the first one was just being finished. I had to wait for them to brew the second one. I decided to give them another chance and today I ordered one traveler craft to be picked up at 6:45. I got there at 6:50 and it was not done, hadn't even been started. I told them I needed it and even showed them the paper where my order had been written that was underneath the register. The lady that helped me did not understand how to put it into the system so she had to get the manager. The manager was visibly upset and very frustrated with the girl helping me. Even though the girl helping me was probably not the one that took my order three days ago. If you're in a rush, I need something on time, do not go to the Starbucks. read more

Sadly, this is one of the worst Starbucks in Carson City. The store is undergoing a remodel, and should not be open. The dining area is filthy, covered with particles from the removed overhead ceiling tiles. There is a giant step ladder leaning against the windows, and none of the power outlets at the seating areas are working. The management is so obviously rattled by the remodel work going on in the store, while it's trying to operate, twice he put half and half in a cup of coffee that I ordered with non-fat milk. There is no reason this Starbucks must remain open during this remodel. There are plenty of Starbucks stores in Carson City. read more

The two women in there were very nice but not trained . Worst drinks I've ever had at Starbucks . They did not make them correctly. Plus I wanted a Dubai chocolate mocha but the barista said they were out of pistachio. Also they were out of whip cream ! Such a disappointment! read more

I have to say, for a while this location was a little tough. It seemed like the post Covid kick was lingering here. However, the last 4 times I've been here have been a big improvement. The staff is friendly, and it also appears they have more staff. It's always busy and there are plenty of people there to assist. Also now they have treats on the counter to try to pair with your coffee which is a super nice touch. Last week there was a problem with mobile orders. That could literally ground an operation like this who gets a lot of them. However, they took my phone, punched it in, made the drinks, and I was on my way. There was hardly any delay. I don't know what changes they have made, but they are noticeable. Nice staff, quick and efficient service, and everything has also been correct. read more

Lots of mixed reviews here. I just visited today and my experience was great. I visit Carson City only 1-2 times a year, and I believe I've been to this location 3-4 times because it's just before going up Hwy 50 to South Lake Tahoe. Anyway, I've never had a problem here. Like a lot of people, I'm sure I've been to 100 different SB in various locations, and this one passes the test for having excellent service, consistent beverages and a nice space to sit. Today, as a walk-in, I was greeted right away and my complicated 3-item order was prepared perfectly. The cashier / barista handling the inside customers was friendly, accurate and made everything very quickly. Great job all of you at this SB! read more

This is the closest Starbucks to my house so I drive thru regularly on my way to work. I must admit over the last year+ the drink consistency and service at this location has greatly improved! They prepare your order pretty quick and keep things moving, and drink quality is consistently good. Hannah who is regularly handling drive thru customers in the morning is awesome, always has a smile and keeps things moving! read more

Absolutely love this location! The stuff is super friendly, and my drinks are always perfect!

I am typically a Starbucks fan. This one is very dirty and the staff was not friendly there are better Starbucks in the area

Our experience here was great. Staff was friendly, drinks made as expected, and store was clean.

This location is centrally located for most of my errand running so I stop bu a few times a year and every time I do i remember why I don't like this location. My most recent visit was at 8PM on a sunday evening. Walked in with a friend and stood at the counter for five minutes. Two staff were cleaning one staff was leaning on the end of the counter talking to someone. No one acknowledged us. Finally the staff talking at the end of the counter called to one of the ones cleaning. She turned around and said oh sorry and finished up what she was doing. We placed our drink orders. It took 10 minutes to get drinks. We were the only ones there. I cant fathom how this location is still in business. The service is always so slow. They make a decent latte but their Frappuccinos are always watery. read more

This Starbucks trip stated out good. I was ordering and they didn't have birthday cake pops which is fine I've worked for one so I know things run out. So I order chocolate one, scones and yes our drinks. Well I get to the window. (Yes I was in drive thru) well I'm at the window and I am waiting a weird amount of time being I am the only person there in or out. She proceeds to give me my scones but no cake pop. So I wait a minute and then we get out drinks and I ask about the cake pop. She seemed annoyed, and gets me my daughters cake pop. So I leave with no "have a nice day" or anything. Even after I said it. Then I finished my drink before leaving the parking lot. I look and wow all ice. So yea, okay trip. read more

If you do not come in looking perfectly polished and clean, Mgt will keep a close eye on you. And if you use the bathroom they will RuN in behind you as if you are homeless and stink and spray a whole can of air freshener! Then you can have a severe asthma attack like I did when an hour later I went back briefly too!!!!! All because I was dressed down and had my boyfriend's sweater on that he had gotten dirty a little on the back! I will not return to this location ever! read more

I took the 40 minute trip to Carson City yesterday to look at some fireplace inserts. On the way home, I stopped at this Starbucks location to grab a java chip frappe. It is one of the smallest Starbucks I've been in, or it may have just felt that way due to the awkward layout. When you first walk in there is a stand of items for sale, which I'm sure was strategically placed to bring more attention to the items. There are a limited amount of tables and chairs as well. I wasn't planning on drinking my frappe there, but I could see how it would be an issue during a busier time of day. My drink was well made, except that they forgot to add the chocolate drizzle that normally comes on top of the whipped cream. (Not a big deal, it was still delicious). I thought I took photos, but my phone must not have saved them. If I happen to be in the area again and was in the mood for coffee, I wouldn't mind visiting this location again. read more

I just went here to get a matcha with cold foam, strawberry purée and no ice. A lady with short blonde hair was glaring the second I walked in and looked extremely unpleasant. She made my drink- with ice. I asked if there's any way she could take it out and made sure it said 'no ice' on the label when I gave it back. She was extremely rude when replying and scoffed and said "you wanted no ice?" It said it perfectly clear on the label yes, but I replied kindly and she remade the whole drink (dumping it out violently I might add). She then gave me back the drink and it had 0 strawberry purée in it and I personally feel that she made the drink worse than it was originally just because she had to remake the drink, because of her own mistake. However I left the store after this because I know her mood would have gotten extremely worse (if possible) if she'd had to make the drink again, correctly. Worst employee I have had ever at a Starbucks. read more

Brandon gave us awful customer service. We ordered about $50 worth of food and beverages and when we got to the window, he blatantly called us clowns!! What kind of customer service is that? When I called, he pretended to be the manager so he wouldn't get in trouble. This is not the first time I've dealt with him and he has been rude. But this time was unacceptable. It makes me so upset. I've never been treated that way before! read more

Come on Starbucks. If I'm paying $4 for a latte, at least get it right. I'm pregnant so my sense of taste is strong. My non-fat, decaf latte was definitely made with whole milk this morning. However, I'm more pissed that my latte was quite obviously NOT decaf. I am due in ten days - so, visibly pregnant - yet you still gave me a caffeinated drink? Thanks.... Since I'm back on Yelp, and I hit this place every day, I thought I should give them a shout-out. As I said, I'm here almost every day. Always pleasant people, always quick. Anything I ask for is no problem. My favorite Starbucks in the area for sure! Thanks, guys! read more

When I was in yesterday morning they told me who would be making my drink (Ted) and who would be warming up my coffee cake. After ted was done making the drink before mine he called my name and said he'd be making my drink. I really enjoyed this visit because they added a personal touch. I visited a Starbucks yesterday afternoon in Reno and they didn't have that personal touch nor this morning at a different one in Carson. I hope they keep this up and possibly make it common it other starbucks'. read more

Ordered drive-thru a couple of times...service was pretty quick.

The barristas are very nice but the service was sooooooo slow. We went to the drive up and didn't anything out of the ordinary. 2 frappes off the menu and it seemed like it took forever to get our orders. By the time we got our order there were 3 cars behind me waiting on theirs. Usually I don't care because I don't coffee a lot but figure people might want to be informed there will be a wait. read more

Don't know why everyone is trippin, this Starbucks was super fast. We went at 9am on a weekday which I would assume is a busy time. Ordered, rolled up to the window, paid, and was handed 2 drinks as they handed my credit card back. Super quick service, polite and friendly. The drinks were right, not messed up at all. My boyfriend tried to order a hot Frappucino which I don't know if that's actually a thing but he was happy with his drink. 10/10 would return for some splurgey fancy coffees read more

I've been to this Starbucks a few times. I'm trying hard to give it 4 stars, but it's not quite there yet. I drink coffee, a lot of coffee and get to visit a lot of Starbucks. The folks here are friendly, professional (typical behavior of what I would expect of a barrista and not just some kids goofing around on the job). It's conveniently located off of US 50 and has a drive through. It's next door to a Keva and there's plenty of parking. Plus the restaurant across the way, Ming's, looks like it has a decent following. It also doesn't get cold or windy as the one on Topsy lane. But it's difficult to get to. If you're heading north, you can be waiting a very long time for traffic to make a turn to get here (no light). There's not a lot of seating/tables which is good, as there's not a lot of crowds either consuming the wifi bandwidth. Whenever I've come in, there has been seats available. But I could imagine it getting crowded if it got really popular. The other thing I like to do is people watch or just watch the world go by. There's not much of a view and there isn't that many "interesting" people who come by. So, if you want a quiet Starbucks, a little out of the way to study or sit down and enjoy some quiet time, this is the place. You will have a professional staff, comfy chairs and wifi w/o distractions to get what you need to get done. But if you want a "little" bit of distraction (even watching the traffic go by) then this may not be the spot for you. It may be a little too quiet. read more

Service was crap! They made my drink completely wrong (well it was a different drink all together). I'm not sure how you can get a snickerdoodle latte confused with a gingerbread latte ‍ Anyway, I was headed to volunteer and didn't notice the drink was wrong until taking a sip. Seriously disappointing. I drove back to get the drink remade (I was very nice in my explanation to the barista). He then said "no wonder it was gross. It's a gingerbread latte". I'm thinking, "well yep. That definitely makes sense then". Once my drink was ready, the barista set it down at the pickup station. I was hoping she'd make eye contact with me so I could ask for a stopper. She continued to talk to the employee at the register. Ummmm, can I please get a stopper? Lol! She seemed annoyed. Anyway, it was very frustrating and I felt like I was a bother. read more
