This is my favorite Dutch bros to go to in the Reno/tahoe area. I can't have caffeine and Dutch bros is one of the few coffee places I can go to were they actually have more then a handful of options, They always do a good job at moving the line and have great service. They have walk up options and drive through. This is one of the few locations with a designated parking lot (it is small) and in an area where the line doesn't affect normal traffic. I've never been much of a fan of Dutch Bros, but this was my first visit to one in a long while and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit! We went through the drive thru- which in hindsight was a mistake. Once we ordered, the nice gal who took our order informed us that that they were down several team members and that the wait would be long, but at this point we were trapped in the drive thru. After about 15 minutes of waiting we finally got to the window and got our kids smoothies, a vanilla latte, and cold brew. I honestly was quite impressed with the drinks. I never remembered them having cold brew before but it was quite nice. As for the vibe, it's a Dutch Bros. It's a small building in a parking lot. No outdoor seating at this location either. If I'm in a pinch, I'll be back, but overall I'll keep visiting my regular local places for coffee. read more

This is my favorite Dutch Bros location in Carson. All the folks are so friendly!!! I usually use the drive thru. Even when they have 10 or more cars in line they keep it moving smoothly. We use the walk up window when we bring one of our dogs to get a pup cup too. They typically come out & even say hi to our dogs. So nice!!! 99% of the time they get our drinks right. That 1% is always fixed as soon as we point it out & it's fixed with a smile. We usually come here 4-5 times a week (yes, we may have a problem, lol). It's always clean inside & the drive thru is always kept clean from debris/trash as well. They're always playing fun up-beat music which we enjoy. It's just a fun place. My favorite drink (&my hubby's) is the iced Hopscotch sugar-free with white coffee. So good & not too many calories. My daughters love their shakes & Italian sodas with the works. Tip: skip the other Dutch Bros in town. This one is WAY better hands down! read more

Excited to try Dutch Brothers & I finally found it in Carson City. Usually I see then serve customers at a Drive Thru, but here they offered both a Drive Thru as well as a walk up window. I wanted to see the types of coffee they offered, so while my husband was at the Drive Thru, I got out to get a closer look at the walk up window. The barista was helpful in my inquiries. Drinks: -Caramelizer had a strong mocha flavor more so than a real coffee component even though the description says it is made with "bold espresso". It was suppose to have whip cream, but we didn't get it. Without a sense of "bold espresso" this drink tasted a little sweeter than what I would have enjoyed. -Golden Eagle was creamy drink thanks to the half & half. There is a nice hint of vanilla, but again no real "bold espresso" taste despite it being described on-line. I was content with this drink & can't wait to try others. In addition to coffee they also had a few energy drinks available that might be worth exploring the next time. read more

Usually I get the Golden Eagle exactly as I like. This this it was missing the Carmel at the bottom and I even tipped them, my bad! The guy at the window called out the order correctly and for some reason this doesn't taste like what I ordered to top it off, taste like a coffee when it should be a vanilla Carmel chai...go figure? Line was not long but it took forever to get two iced rebels simply because an employee or a friend or something was in line. So of course everybody comes out to say hi. The order taker hugged them and then when that person got to the window they had only one drink but it took 10 mins. Our drink was also wrong when we go up there. Nobody is in the drive thru but another car pulled in just before me and orders 1 drink, the kid takes 10 minutes to make the drink and then says that they are closed when I pull up to the window.
