On those warm summer Nevada days, a trip to "Keva Juice" is always a healthy and refreshing option. This is one of 6 locations in the Reno metropolitan area and the only one in the capital city of Carson City. Located in a quiet strip mall on the western edge of town off of S. Carson St. (Business 395), Keva Juice neighbors a Starbucks and is just minutes away from major hotels and attractions such as the Nevada State Railroad Museum and for the outdoor adventure seekers, only a 10-minute drive to Kings Canyon Waterfalls. I came here with my lady during the afternoon on Friday 6/19/2026 at around 3:45pm. Since we ate lunch (in S. Lake Tahoe) around 1pm and wouldn't eat dinner (in Fernley) until 7:30pm, I figure this would be the perfect mid-afternoon snack to fill us up. Parking was very easy to find as this is a fairly quiet area; even with an extensive amount of eateries and businesses around here. Upon entry, we were the only customers inside which made the ordering process quite simple. The interior layout had a pistachio green/light purple which is their trademark colors. Additionally, there was ample seating throughout. As for the menu, they carry the traditional classic, functional, and performance smoothies as well as açai bowls, juice blends, coffee, chai, and matcha drinks. They also carry a small assortment of food items including healthy cookies, pretzels, and waffles. In comparison, their entire food/drink menu is quite similar to "Jamba" but different as they are a much smaller company with more of the mom-and-pop vibes. During our visit, I went with their "Ginger Berry Cooler" smoothie. This includes a generous amount of fresh ginger, honey, bananas, blueberries, mangos, and nonfat vanilla yogurt with my choice of oat milk. My lady went with their "Strawberry Squeezer" smoothie which offers apple & guava juice, bananas, strawberries, nonfat vanilla yogurt, and raspberry sherbet. Both of our smoothies were ready in less than 5 minutes. Since I had not been to any of their locations in nearly 3 years, I liked how the cups are now transparent as it gives it a fresh, modern look. As for my smoothie, I was very pleased but be warned that the ginger taste might be a bit overpowering for some. I liked the fusion of fruit as it brought a level of sweet and savory all wrapped into one tasty beverage. Her smoothie was way more of a traditional taste as I also sampled a few sips and was quite pleased. I will say that having been to several of their locations over the years in the Reno area, I prefer them over Jamba. Service was above average, prices were reasonable, and I left feeling quite satisfied. My rating for the Carson City "Keva Juice", a respectable four stars. read more

I want to give a shoutout to the gal who was working today because the customer service was amazing. I told her I hadn't been to a Keva Juice in years and she made great suggestions on the smoothies. She also asked about my day and gave me a great recommendation for a dog place to try because I mentioned my pup wasn't feeling great. I ended up either the strawberry Açaí with some fat burner in it, I was a little disappointed that they only do Mediums and Larges for the Protein blend because I wanted a small. The smoothie itself was okay, I always feel like smoothie chains are a bit watered down but it gave me my smoothie fix. It's definitely better than a Jamba Juice and I would go again. Found sharp, clear plastic filaments in my mouth with every single sip of my Green Hulk smoothie. It looked like a degraded blender cleaning brush shed bristles entirely into the batch. I had to stop drinking it after just a few sips, once I realized I was consuming plastic. I brought the full cup back to show them the hazard. They gave me a refund, but the staff just gave me blank stares. No apology or concern whatsoever. I used to be a regular here, but I've stopped coming in over the last several months because of recurring issues that clearly stem from management. The staff is usually fine, but the store is constantly out of basic ingredients. To make matters worse, management has a "no refund" policy even when they can't fulfill an order. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and the staff was super friendly and patient while explaining the menu. The Sunrise juice was refreshing--though I personally would've liked a little less ginger since it was a bit spicy. The Mango Magic smoothie was tasty and hit the spot. Ordered via door dash. Delicious and very refreshing. I love their smoothies! I can't speak on service because both times I've done door dash. My only complaint is the pretzels I ordered came super soggy. I put them in my air fryer for around 6 min (which is very long for an air fryer) and they were almost better. Very disappointed! I went in to get the almond milk salted caramel sundae which is delightful. The young man at the counter started to tell me something and the girl that was making the drinks for a very crowded store, stopped what she was doing to come answer the question that I'm sure he could have answered. It was extremely unorganized. So I was told I could get the salted caramel sundae without the salt, Carmel, and nuts. Ever since I experienced this I started ordering online anticipating my drinks are ready when I arrive and they are still NOT. My drinks were sipped to be ready at 12:26 today and I ordered at 11:56. Drinks were ready at 12:45. It said they could be done in 5 minutes but I was a little far away so I selected 12:26 I get here and they still weren't ready they are too busy fulfilling DoorDash orders. I entered this location and there were three customers already waiting on their orders to be filled. One of the 2 young ladies working made eye contact with me when I walked in. A few minutes later another customer walks into the store and walks straight up to the counter in front of me and the others. He did not acknowledge or ask whether I or the other customers were in line or had ordered. The young lady that made eye contact with me immediately went to the counter to take care of his request, which appeared to be a mobile order, and did not acknowledge me standing there. The least she could've said to me before accommodating the newest customer was to say, "I'll be right with you" or something of that nature. two peach shirts not doing anything, just conversating and hanging around, and i noticed the only person that was doing anything was a short girl in a green shirt, she was going SUPER fast, as being the only person working, she ended up in pain i could tell because she told the other girls to take over and went in the back with a look of excrusiating pain on her face. the girls in the peach shirts then began to get out of there convo, and come help out. Great place for a pick me up plus a much better alternative to fast food. Fresh fruit and a plethora of ingredients and you gotta love the one free additive that comes with your drink choice. The staff is always friendly, patient and helpful when I can't quite seem to decide which one of their tasty smoothies I need on one of my visits. My latest visit was a delightful surprise to see added to the menu pretzels, one of my weaknesses and yes I partaked on the Stuffed Spinach and Feta version that my smile to my husband across the table clearly showed how happy I was with my choice from the spinach in between my front teeth lol. To be fair, I have only had three different smoothies here, but all were excellent. This particular location has a book-sharing bookshelf, which makes it automatically cool in my book.
