On those warm summer Nevada days, a trip to "Keva Juice" is always a healthy and refreshing option…read more This is one of 6 locations in the Reno metropolitan area and the only one in the capital city of Carson City. Located in a quiet strip mall on the western edge of town off of S. Carson St. (Business 395), Keva Juice neighbors a Starbucks and is just minutes away from major hotels and attractions such as the Nevada State Railroad Museum and for the outdoor adventure seekers, only a 10-minute drive to Kings Canyon Waterfalls. I came here with my lady during the afternoon on Friday 6/19/2026 at around 3:45pm. Since we ate lunch (in S. Lake Tahoe) around 1pm and wouldn't eat dinner (in Fernley) until 7:30pm, I figure this would be the perfect mid-afternoon snack to fill us up. Parking was very easy to find as this is a fairly quiet area; even with an extensive amount of eateries and businesses around here. Upon entry, we were the only customers inside which made the ordering process quite simple. The interior layout had a pistachio green/light purple which is their trademark colors. Additionally, there was ample seating throughout. As for the menu, they carry the traditional classic, functional, and performance smoothies as well as açai bowls, juice blends, coffee, chai, and matcha drinks. They also carry a small assortment of food items including healthy cookies, pretzels, and waffles. In comparison, their entire food/drink menu is quite similar to "Jamba" but different as they are a much smaller company with more of the mom-and-pop vibes. During our visit, I went with their "Ginger Berry Cooler" smoothie. This includes a generous amount of fresh ginger, honey, bananas, blueberries, mangos, and nonfat vanilla yogurt with my choice of oat milk. My lady went with their "Strawberry Squeezer" smoothie which offers apple & guava juice, bananas, strawberries, nonfat vanilla yogurt, and raspberry sherbet. Both of our smoothies were ready in less than 5 minutes. Since I had not been to any of their locations in nearly 3 years, I liked how the cups are now transparent as it gives it a fresh, modern look. As for my smoothie, I was very pleased but be warned that the ginger taste might be a bit overpowering for some. I liked the fusion of fruit as it brought a level of sweet and savory all wrapped into one tasty beverage. Her smoothie was way more of a traditional taste as I also sampled a few sips and was quite pleased. I will say that having been to several of their locations over the years in the Reno area, I prefer them over Jamba. Service was above average, prices were reasonable, and I left feeling quite satisfied. My rating for the Carson City "Keva Juice", a respectable four stars.

I told her I hadn't been to a Keva Juice in years and she made great suggestions on the smoothies. She also asked about my day and gave me a great recommendation for a dog place to try because I mentioned my pup wasn't feeling great. I ended up either the strawberry Açaí with some fat burner in it, I was a little disappointed that they only do Mediums and Larges for the Protein blend because I wanted a small. The smoothie itself was okay, I always feel like smoothie chains are a bit watered down but it gave me my smoothie fix. It's definitely better than a Jamba Juice and I would go again. I also wished they opened earlier than 7am because I start work at 7am, but a good stop for the weekend on a hot day.

I'd give this place a 3.5. Decided to try this place for lunch since I've read some decent reviews…read moreon this place for their pastries. The bakery dining area is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating, both in the front and back of store. We got there around noon-ish and all of their breakfast pastries, like croissants, muffins, and danishes were pretty much gone (understandable), so I looked at their dessert-y pastry display and they had a variety of tarts, cup desserts, cupcakes, cake slices, eclairs, etc. Their TIRAMISU TART caught my eye because I love tiramisu and to have it in tart form was intriguing. I also got a CANNOLI because I read it was one the best in a review I read. I also gave the BONDI sandwich a try on multigrain bread. So, the tiramisu tart was disappointing. It is quite large, maybe a 4.5-5" tart. What I was expecting were the usual components of a traditional tiramisu (mascarpone, zabaglione, a layer of soaked espresso lady fingers, cocoa), but contained in a tart shell vs. a cup. This would have been so creative of them to do. However, it really is just a tart shell filled with a ridiculous amount of whipped cream with MAYBE a hint of mascarpone with a whisper of espresso flavor (you can hardly detect it), and what looked like 2 tiny soaked lady fingers somewhere in the center. I had to dig pretty far into the cream to find them. There was nothing delicious or exciting about it. As for the cannoli, I've had better. Try the ones from Sierra Chef, a tiny gourmet Italian specialty shop in Genoa. You can really taste the richness of the ricotta at Sierra Chef The description of the BONDI sandwich sounded great. It is a substantial sandwich and you probably will be satisfied with just eating half of it. It's a chicken breast sandwich with gouda, avocado, lettuce, tomato and sun-dried tomato pesto mayo. The sandwich lacked flavor/umph. Sun-dried tomatoes typically have alot of flavor, but it was lacking in the mayo. I don't believe they season the chicken breast, but if they seasoned it with some herbs and spices and tweaked the mayo, this sandwich could be a flavor bomb. Service was great. The woman at the cashier was polite and smiley. And the woman who handed me my sandwich was also very smiley. Would I come back? Sure. They have an extensive menu in both savory and sweet and i would hopefully like to find something that suits my taste. 3 items set me back $28+. Pricey for mediocre food, but what isn't pricey these days?

I like to get the nachos, which are simple, but I love the tortilla chips and cheese that they use. It's also a relatively large portion that can definitely be shared by two people. The fresh juices are good as well, especially to fuel up before heading to the lake for the day. My favorite is the beet zinger.

I have always loved the fresh food, vegan options, and friendly service. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was such a bummer. We arrived on a Sunday evening around 4:30-5 PM. The place was a wreck. Every table was dirty, flies were everywhere, trash was on the ground, restrooms needed servicing- just a filthy mess. No one was working in the dining room to try and rectify the mess. We decided to order a chai and the curry tofu bowl anyway. Food took forever to come out. Many other tables were looking around much like we were, wondering where their food was. It was especially strange since Sprouts has an open kitchen and there were 4+ employees back there. When the table next to us got their food, there was something wrong with almost every dish they ordered. When the food finally came, it was good. Not great, but good, and it did taste fresh. The chai was good too. I wish I could write a positive review for Sprouts, and perhaps 5-10 years ago I could have. But now, it's just not living up to what I remember. Classic Tahoe tourist trap.
