I told her that we had been to the other store a few times, but this was our first visit to this store. She told us that "this is where the magic happens." this is the location where they make the chocolates and candy, and then send it on to the other store. It has everything that the other store has, chocolates, taffy, assorted candies, including hard candies, peanut brittle, the works. They have a large selection of loose chocolate in bins, so you can get a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. It's charged by the pound. My brother got some chocolates for both him. And his wife back home, and he also got another bag of the jalapeño brittle. I'm the one that "turned him on" to it, and he's gotten to like it as well. I also got some of the chocolates, and I picked up two bags of the jalapeño brittle, and because I got two bags, because of a special they were running I also got a complementary bag of caramel corn. I hear it's very good stuff like everything they have here, but because I had so much candy already, the caramel corn ended up being a gift. The price is for everything was reasonable, based on the high-quality of their candy, and they do a military/veterans discount. Both of their stores are great. The cashier was friendly. I craved chocolate chip but they didn't have the flavor. The cashier suggested a vanilla scoop with sprinkled chocolate chips on top. That sounded perfect. I ordered a small waffle cone and it was reasonably priced. After ordering I received the ice cream in less than 10 minutes. It was creamy, the chocolate chips were a good size and the waffle was a good size too. I highly recommend Handel's. Enjoy!

When someone finally picked up at the store, rather than apologize, he told me "well, your order is probably here, so come on in". Updating here: My friend said they ordered the takeout order online, and there was no "Special Hours" posted this morning - Handel's took the order because they didn't update their online availability.
