I have been to So Juicy a small handful of times, but most recently was to check out the smoothie and juice selection. I have always been put off by the pricing here. It's nearly $10 for a juice or a smoothie. Many other reviews mention the high pricing, and many reviews also mention that the portion sizes are mediocre. I agree with that. While the juices and smoothies are good, the high prices deter me from returning. Comparing So Juicy to another local shop that recently opened in Gardnerville, that place wins in both selection, taste, and pricing. The service here can also be iffy. Sometimes they are super fast and kind. Other times, it seems that they are irritated that you walked in. I have never been here when it's busy. It's almost always deserted when I visit. If you choose to hang out, they do have many large tables inside. So Juicy is 100% better than a chain shop like Keva or Jamba, but I think there is certainly room for improvement in both service and pricing.

I came here with my lady during the afternoon on Friday 6/19/2026 at around 3:45pm. Since we ate lunch (in S. Lake Tahoe) around 1pm and wouldn't eat dinner (in Fernley) until 7:30pm, I figure this would be the perfect mid-afternoon snack to fill us up. Parking was very easy to find as this is a fairly quiet area; even with an extensive amount of eateries and businesses around here. Upon entry, we were the only customers inside which made the ordering process quite simple. The interior layout had a pistachio green/light purple which is their trademark colors. Additionally, there was ample seating throughout. As for the menu, they carry the traditional classic, functional, and performance smoothies as well as açai bowls, juice blends, coffee, chai, and matcha drinks. They also carry a small assortment of food items including healthy cookies, pretzels, and waffles. In comparison, their entire food/drink menu is quite similar to "Jamba" but different as they are a much smaller company with more of the mom-and-pop vibes. During our visit, I went with their "Ginger Berry Cooler" smoothie. This includes a generous amount of fresh ginger, honey, bananas, blueberries, mangos, and nonfat vanilla yogurt with my choice of oat milk. My lady went with their "Strawberry Squeezer" smoothie which offers apple & guava juice, bananas, strawberries, nonfat vanilla yogurt, and raspberry sherbet. Both of our smoothies were ready in less than 5 minutes. Since I had not been to any of their locations in nearly 3 years, I liked how the cups are now transparent as it gives it a fresh, modern look. As for my smoothie, I was very pleased but be warned that the ginger taste might be a bit overpowering for some. I liked the fusion of fruit as it brought a level of sweet and savory all wrapped into one tasty beverage. Dina is a fun hostess. We were inspired by their story, their craft, how they cultivated their coffee from Panama. Learning about the process from the soil to bean to cup, made the coffee that much more satisfying. I tried the almond joy latte (and i can see how it taste like the candy bar in a cup!). Their menu also features flavors with cardamom, matcha, butterfly pea flower, ube, smoky salt, light to dark beans, both iced and hot options. They provide single origin coffee, organic ingredients, vegan foods, and even have options for kids. They did explain that they use some eco friendly packaging that is expensive, but it was still a lot to be charged for every packaging item in a place that doesn't have much seating. It was also very busy on a Sunday morning so it took close to an hour between waiting in line to order, waiting for our coffees and waiting for our food.
