Ok I'm actually so impressed with this place! This is my first time reviewing anything and I had to because wow! The two ladies working were so cute and so precise when making my bowls. The bowl sizes and price were great. I've had poke in Hawaii and this seriously compares to that. I woke up today still thinking about how good it was. See you soon Poke Doke!

Bought a poke Large Bowl for me and my family. My son was eating his bowl and found a huge piece of metal. Called the store and they said bring it back for a refund. They were so rude and only wanted to refund one bowl but we threw them all away. Would not recommend this business. Horrible customer service, not sanitary.

The lady was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good and they give you a good portion. The location is clean and inviting.

Okey dokey, here is my review for poke doke! Cute name. Fresh fish. Wonderful choices. Friendly gentlemen that worked there this day. I love the choices, array of sauces with spice levels and toppings. This place has it well covered. Kim Chee is great, too. Next to In-n-Out burger. I want to go back again tomorrow!

ON A WHIM PER MY USUAL FASHION: Shopping in Carson City, never tried a poke bowl figured we would give it a shot. We showed up around 715 (their sign says no dine in after 720). They still let us eat inside thank goodness!!! The staff was super friendly and food was really fresh!! We tried every macaroni ice cream sandwich they had to offer. Strawberry, Vanilla, Cappuccino, Mango and Green Tea. I anticipated Green Tea to be my favorite, but it was vanilla oddly enough!!! Everything was fresh and flavorful.

What better and more satisfying lunch on a hot summer day than a Poke bowl?! Delicious and fresh ingredients. Great choices to make a yummy and customized bowl. Loved the variety, the easy steps and how clean the restaurant is.

Yikes.... Worst poke of my life. Mild poke sauce is pure Mayo???? What???? Come on.. do better. And I'm Japanese and from the bay, so this was garage. Sorry.

When browsing their online menu, I was really excited to see that Poke Doke didn't forget about their vegan and vegetarian friends. I know the joke playing out in your head right now... why did the vegan go to the Poke spot for lunch? But the punchline is easy. It's because they offer tofu! *Crickets*. But seriously, this inclusivity is quite literally what will keep me as a continuing customer, especially since fish is my partner's favorite food. The only reason why I felt I didn't get the full 5-star experience that I was hoping for is because I felt that my Poke Bowl was a little bit disjointed. Partly my fault, since this place is a build-your-own bowl restaurant, but the depth of flavor in my bowl just left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The rice was warm, but the other ingredients were cold. It also would have been nice if the tofu were marinated in something to help combat its naturally flavorless quality. Or, maybe, Poke Doke could offer a few signature bowls, giving poke-oblivious customers like myself easy combination choices that they know will taste good. Despite my ignorance to Poke culture, the staff were all extremely nice and helpful, and handled the lunch rush like old pros. I will definitely be back to try a different Poke combination.

Carson City's first poke restaurant! We were in town and decided to stop by here for a quick dinner before heading back to Reno. We've been to most of the poke places in Reno, but have not tried this place in Carson City yet. I believe they use the same size bowl for the regular and large. The only difference is that there are 2 more scoops of fish in the large. I think this is nice since the bowl can hold the same amount of the toppings without the extra fish between the two sizes. Originally, we were going to do half & half white rice and chips until the person making our bowl mentioned it was tortilla chips, and not the won-ton chips that we're used to - bummer! We opted for the large with just white rice instead. That was nice of her to mention though, before we got too far along with our bowl. You can choose all the add-ons and toppings! I recommend you choose whatever you like. The cilantro wasn't listed on the menu, so make sure you look at all the displayed topping selections! Sauces can also be mixed. We tried the Yuzu with a little bit of Japanese Dressing topped with the Mild Poke. A really nice combination and you could definitely taste the Yuzu! My boyfriend mentioned that he liked how they arranged the bowl - add-ons first, the fish, and then the toppings. The person making our bowl was also super helpful and enthusiastic while walking us through the steps. Poke King closer to us and is still my favorite, but we'll definitely be back again if we're ever in Carson City! Remember your stamp card too~!

First off, nigiri. These are HUGE and they come with a sizable slab of sashimi cut fish on top too. Pro-tip is to order less than you think you'll eat, because the size is sure to surprise and they will fill you up quickly. Don't sleep on the specialty nigiri here OR he Scallop Supreme appetizer, which is seared scallop sashimi! Second, sticking with the size matters theme, the hand rolls. Spicy salmon, spicy scallop and scallop OG are all stellar, and you will be blown away by the amount of seafood stacked in these when they arrive. One is easily an entire maki roll worth of filling and you will be stoked when you sink your teeth in. I definitely ordered at least two spicy salmon hand rolls and should have had a third. Third, massive maki, perfectly proportioned and portioned for sharing. Do yourself a favor and order the Pink Fire with spicy yellowtail seared with togarashi, sesame oil, salt & pepper wrapped in soy paper, then topped with seared tuna, yummy sauce, teriyaki, ponzu, green onions, chili flakes, & sesame seeds. The Double Down is another winner with salmon, tuna, yellowtail on the inside, then topped with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, tobiko, avocado. FOURTH, don't skip dessert! Can you say house-made ice cream?? I can and I'd say it two or three times here if they'd let me. This stuff is SERIOUSLY good. Desserts are not an afterthought here and you need to save room. FIFTH, last but 100% the most important and not least, SERVICE IS STELLAR! Yes. They are on it. They love what they serve. They're a solid team and this place wins as a result!
