For starters, the employees here are super personable, professional and seem to work well together. I'm a Starbucks addict (don't judge!) and I can honestly say, not all Starbucks sites are the same. This one really rocks it. First of all, the interior is lovely: large, but not cavernous. Exposed stone walls. Cozy fireplace. Large order and pick-up counter. Overstuffed chairs. Lots of windows. Window-ledge table with bar stools, and ample bistro tables too. Overall, even on the rainy day we were here, there was lots of natural light from the window walls and an intimate, welcoming feel from the stone and warm wood materials and blazing fireplace. There's a really nice patio outside, too - and large! - between this Starbucks and the adjacent MOD Pizza store. And tons of free parking on the streets here or the huge parking lot shared by the Kroger grocery store nearby. The employees here were super nice and our coffees were perfect. There was a huge selection of gift cards and Starbucks merchandise - more so than I've seen in any Starbucks store in a long time (and I've been to many, MANY Starbucks, being the aforementioned addict that I am). This place was immaculate, too. You could eat off the floor. My kid and I just wished we had more time to hang out here (we had an appointment at the Toyota dealership), but we enjoyed the 45 minutes or so we were here, and our perfectly-made beverages. read more

Without any question the best Starbucks I have ever been to. The staff is beyond friendly here and it is clear they know their customers and care about them. The location moves the line very quick and the staff demonstrate incredible team work. It is clear they care about their location, co-workers and customers. The location also pours shots very promptly to help avoid a more burnt flavor and staff make eye contact, smile and make conversation while making your drinks. Such a great place to grab coffee in an Urban Village area. The inside has plenty of small tables & some chairs. Down fall is that you need code to use restroom & that can be awkward. My reviews are good with Starbucks I just have one problem and not with this location I'm just warning people to not buy the press fit lid travel mugs or cups with the swivel top lids. They are overpriced and fail even if you never put them in the dishwasher. They are around 30$ and basically are a complete waste. Good Starbuck location. Not the coziest setting as far as setting up shop and getting a lot of work done, but a good spot for meeting up with a friend for a chat. Bathrooms are shared with other businesses so you gotta leave the store to get to them which can make it feel weird leaving your stuff behind at a table. The staff at this Starbucks was super friendly and nice. Probably the friendliest staff that I ever came across that's for sure. My friend and I walked in and the cashier had a friendly smile while she took our orders. Our drinks came out fast and we didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes. Green Tea Latte with Soy 4/5 My favorite drink and they made it right! Some staff would make it too sweet and some would make it bland. But they made it just perfect! Passion Tea Apple Juice with light ice 4/5 My favorite tea, with apple juice they made it with just the right amount of apple juice that tasted sweet yet the apple juice didn't overpower the passion tea. The person who made my drink blended the tea and juice with the right amount. So thumbs up! This starbuck is clean, staff is friendly. A little bit busy but we didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes for our drinks to be ready! Why the 4 stars only and not 5? Because the bathroom almost made me barf! The bathroom looks like it hasn't been clean for days. Toilet paper was out and so was the hand napkins. So I had to knock out one star for the gross bathroom! :( read more

This is MY Starbucks, the store I visit nearly every day. There is another one across the parking lot inside the grocery store. So I have other choices. The staff are pretty friendly, but it changes every couple of months...or so. It took me 6 months to actually meet and know any of the staff. My local Starbucks, it's just over the hill from my home. Great staff and location. I'm always impressed by the people working there. Chris R mentioned better service than Tony's, I absolutely agree and can relate. I grew up in Port Townsend which is a lot like Bellingham. I LOVE THIS STARBUCKS! Jenny, Summer, and the dudes who all work there are fantastic. They know my daughters, they know their names, they give extra special touches to their drinks, etc. Every time I'm there, I'm beyond impressed with our experience. Starbucks on sunset Blvd served me a frozen breakfast sandwich and couldn't make a regular mocha that didn't taste horribly bad. Cruisen coffee and big foot java are the 2 good places to go on sunset NOT starbucks. Eat there at your own risk. read more
